Crusting Pipe - London - Photo album

This place is very authentic and has a wonderful atmosphere, with it being right in the center of covent Garden. I had the "Ardennes Pate", along with the "Crab & Prawn Linguine". The taste was fantastic and the entertainment superb. The food did take a long time to come but we were compensated with
We typically visit the Crusting Pipe when we visit London. It's a great place to sit, people watch and enjoy the entertainment. We had a few snacks and a drink. Our server has worked there for 40 years and knows her stuff. We'll be back again next visit.
Nice restaurant. Ordered the seafood linguine and sausage and mash which were enjoyed, however the seafood linguine only came with prawns when it said assorted seafood on the menu. Live music from opera singers during lunch time- very interactive and fun! Would recommend.
Lovely wee restaurant in the lower courtyard at Covent Garden. There is a string quintette that busks here - and has done for many years. Lovely to sit and watch and listen, very good fun.
My friend and I had a wonderful afternoon Tea at the Crusting pipe on Saturday. The excellent staff service, especially the manager who served us made the experience perfect. Will definitely come back next time we are in London. Also great help given in tube stations back to our hotel in Watford! Xx
Fish pie 🥧 was fantastic, creamy mushed potatoes , scallops, boiled egg. Also we had cinnamon pears, well balanced not too sweet combined with coconut ice cream 🍨, so we loved it. Service is pretty good , I can recommend for anyone who wants to get truly English Sunday roast. * Vegan , vegetarian ,
Great ambience. There was a tenor singing opera songs while we were there. I don’t know about the food because I only had a drink.
As often the case in London, service can feel a little impersonal and rushed but good quality food, speediness of serving and great atmosphere in a courtyard of Covent Garden.
Great atmosphere and we had the charcuterie and cheese sharing platter. Lovely rose wine, recommended by our waiter. Plus the string quartet and singer were excellent.
This place has made me question previous 5 star reviews, because this place deserves 10! A wonderful little atmospheric place in the heart of Covent Garden. Situated underneath the main plaza it's tucked nicely away. I'm not sure if there's step free access (I didn't see a lift). Super comfy layout
The Crusting Pipe in Covent Garden is a well-known and cozy wine bar and restaurant, known for its stylish ambiance and a delightful menu that pairs delicious food with a variety of wines. Situated in the vibrant heart of Covent Garden, it's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. If you're lo
Good food, good service, with live opera being sang at the outdoor covered area. You can have just a drink or a full meal. Inside or outside. Booking may be required for dining in.
Brilliant setting in the lower court of the old market. Free (collection plate) entertainment at the stairs by singers and musicians at most times. Food and drink available as an extra charge. Unique place to soak up the atmosphere.
Good Sunday roast. They dealt well with a large party. Busy and a good atmosphere. I thought the singing was actually miming for the most part.
Love this place. It's a slice of old London . Food is good as is the wine. Bonus is that you are serenaded by quartets and opera singers who busk in the courtyard
