The Champagne Bar was Perfect end to a weekend in London for show, afternoon tea at the Ritz and shopping around London and St Pancras. Excellent service, good champagne and a lovely view of the euro tunnel train coming into the station. Loved it and would recommend to start or finish your experience in London
Lovely experience from start to finish ! Friendly staff, a lovely bottle of champagne, complimentary olives and to top it off, a lovely birthday treat of chocolate cake. Nice touch !! Thank you for starting my birthday celebrations off perfectly !
Popped in for a glass of fizz while Christmas shopping, very friendly staff and the waitress was extremely welcoming!
Comfortable atmosphere with a touch of class.
Fabulous friendly service, beautiful Champagne and meats sharing platter on a Saturday evening. Thank you 😊 🥂
We went into the bar in the restaurant as the champagne bar outside was full and it provided us with an excellent end to a lovely day. The bar wasn’t too busy and the waiter was amusing and attentive. Perfect end to a perfect day.
The hamburger with Stilton and bacon was perfectly prepared. Our table was off to the side with space for bulky luggage. Yet we could see the train schedule from the window. I recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a quiet rendezvous before hopping on the eurail.
Great service and a lovely breakfast. Would recommend Searcys and we will be back.
Before heading into the dark Eurotunnel with 50m of murky English Channel waters above one on board the otherwise wonderfully seamless pre-Brexit Eurostar train what better preamble than ordering some beautiful Brut bubbles from the wonderfully long drinks menu of this great Long Bar served by wise cheerful staff. Cheers!
This is a great restaurant with a great traditional British menu. Located in the Kings Cross station its the place I like to go when traveling and would like to eat some lunch or dinner. I have been to this bar and restaurant a few times and have not been disappointed. The service is great as well. I have tried the fish pie which is very rich and a must try on the menu. It is very indulgent and and perfect for either lunch or dinner. For the sides the fries are very chunky and crispy and lovely to eat as well as the tea. Overall there is something for everyone here even if it is just drinks or food as well.
Searcy's Champagne bar is the perfect place to go for a glass of bubbly (or for me, a shiraz) if you're waiting for your train from St Pancras International, especially at Christmas time with the festive decorations of the station around you and fairly lights twinkling from the big tree below. This is mine and the mother's go to destination when I'm dropping her off to get her train back to Sheffield after a visit - beats a coffee and bun from one of the shops below any day.
They have a huge selection of champagnes and sparkling wines to choose from, but if you order a cheaper glass be prepared to have to defend your selection to the bar staff who will always always try to up sell. I once managed to accidentally agree to £14 a glass sparkling instead of £8 - ouch.
Always a nice way to end or start your travel - large range of champagnes for every occasion. The Lauren Perrier rosé is particularly pleasing
Searcy's Champagne Bar sits on top of St Pancras international overlooking Eurostar arrivals. It offers a variety of champagne and seafood plates. I've ordered quite a bit from the menu, and it's been lovely to dip into fresh seafood in the heart of London however the bill is always a little sour. In the past the waiters have also been pushy and tried to sell me more expensive bottles of champagne.
It's very convenient if you're looking to celebrate something in style with someone who needs to jump on a train out of King's Cross - St Pancras.
Overall, I rate this one a 3.5.
Amazing food, especially the oysters and roast lamb. Our server Olivia made the entire meal worthwhile, friendly, generous with the champers (which is always a plus) and always with a smile. Could not recommend more!
Great place to sit and watch the people walk by while having a cup of coffee or breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food take a while to come but it’s well prepared and the full English breakfast was great. Wasn’t too crowded in the morning and would recommend sitting outside than inside which can be a little dark.
Always super happy to frequent both the Champagne Bar and the Brasserie Restaurant. Staff are fab, food is fab and the Searcys brut bubbles are the best... See pics from the last restaurant session - chicken liver parfait and prawn cocktail starters, sirloin and ribeye steak mains. Delicious
Loved our Sunday Brunch here! Food was amazing. Every single thing I had, from Oysters to the salmon, salads and the whole roast with all its a condiments, especially the tarragon sauce, was delicious. Bottomless champagne was ofcourse an added bonus, and what really made our experience special was our incredible waitress, Olivia. We’ll definitely be back
The corner where you can sit at the counter is nice. The staff is pleasant and there's a solid choice of drinks (mainly with bubbles as this is a Champagne bar)
Prices are on the high side, but this is in a train station and they serve quality products.
NB: it's located on the first floor not on the ground floor.
Far exceeded my expectations.Everything was delightful and the live music just made it even more extraordinary.Thank you for the memorable experience
Saw the travel afternoon tea on Instagram before an upcoming trip (food is served in a suitcase) and thought it would be a nice novelty outing. Absolutely wasn't expecting the quantity and quality of food we got, as we admitted defeat and were unable to eat it all (although the tea definitely helped wash it all down)
In a beautiful location with very attentive staff as well, this is definitely an experience I recommend
Excellent staff. Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent drinks. Great place for a relaxing chat or date. I shall return 😊
I returned 😄
I love the champagne bar. The service is always excellent. Each and every one of the staff make me feel welcome. The ambiance is always chilled and it feels so good to come here to relax after a long, stressful week at work. The food is always top quality made with fresh ingredients and the drinks are well made and always taste great. I have to commend them for employing people from all different backgrounds and for not discriminating. I wish all employers would take a leaf out of their book. Thank you so much.
The champagne bar is my oasis. I will return 💜
Nice spot to grab a drink before getting on the Eurostar. Quirky 'press for champagne' button is a nice touch. Staff friendly and professionally. Champagne was good.
This place is extremely strategic for me to have a full meal or a few pints while waiting for the train to depart London. I have been dining in this place since last year and I can confirm that their service is consistently excellent. Most foods are served at standard expectation, and the for-drink place is simply convenient to access most times. My personal all-time favourite is the taste of freedom (the Freedom Lager).
PS. Some pics were taken during Christmas.
Olivia was absolutely amazing. Probably the best waitress I’ve had in London all year. Friendly, interesting and an absolute sweetheart. Can’t wait to be served by her again!!
Great food great service. Worth the money. Been a few times and always good.
Brunch at the brasserie after arriving back from Paris. The bottomless champagne brunch (just over a bottle between two) at £49 each was very good value. The breakfast was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Really lovely restaurant setting with Art Deco feel and lovely lighting. Service all round was great also. Personally I really enjoyed the food but it was more of a mixed bag for my girlfriend. The calamari was a little stringy, but the venison tartare was refined and beautifully balanced. The mains were excellent
Good food. Good service. Fun place to have a lovely meal and champagne.
A beautiful space, thoughtfully designed. Food is gorgeous- we plumped for the set menu and weren't disappointed. Vegetarian and vegan options are marked on the menu, but there was no indication of what was and wasn't gluten free so I took a chance. I was surprised by the lack of oysters, as I had thought they were on offer here, but the black sea bass with mussels I had more than made up for it.
Staff were a little too eager to grab glasses when they still had a couple of fingers of champagne in, but otherwise lovely.
It is expensive; 2 glasses of house champagne, 2 set menus with 3 courses, 2 glasses of English sparkling wine came in at just under £100. However, it's perfect for a special occasion, with an intimate and luxurious atmosphere. We were there to celebrate our relationship becoming official and it made the occasion magical.
A brief stop here whilst we waited for our Train home. A great vibe in here. Service is great. The staff are accommodating and the Hot Chocolate is great! They even sprinkle your initial on for you 😉.
Thank you for the Searchys experience. 💫
