We've been going here on and off for the past ten years or so. Since we've been living in Hong Kong for the past eight years, we try to visit when we come back to see family. Tonight we went to celebrate my birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and even helped to catch our free range children. Food as always was excellent (soft spot for the tomato and garlic starter pizza). Definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood.

I've been coming here with my family for over 10 years and it's always been our favourite place to go birthdays, special occasions, lunch...basically any time we want consistent quality Italian food in a warm friendly environment where we can relax with our kids (it's a family friendly restaurant). The staff feel like our family now and we always love coming here due to the warm welcome and service we get each time. Highly recommended for birthdays (they come and sing you a birthday song in Italian and dim the lights and bring a cake out and generally make you feel special). Highly recommend and can't recommend high enough. Keep up the amazing work Sandro ;) (and Carlos and the rest)!

A busy italian settled in the heart of Southgate. Is very popular with all ages. Has a woodfired oven. Pizzas here are large traditional Italian pizzas. Menu offers food to suits all, a la carte, with great daily specials. Great for families, or a catch-up with friends. Food doesn’t disappoint here.
A very busy place, all of the time! Booking here is a must!

Fantozzi is the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to in North London and possibly the whole of London. It has an amazing family atmosphere and is vibrant, fun and lively. Whole families come in hoards to eat here and it's sometimes packed out on a Thursday evening so you can tell they're doing it right! Their food is authentic and outstanding and very reasonable. Sandros the owner always mucks in with the rest of his staff to make your eating out experience a perfect night out. If you like pizza then make sure you try this restaurant out as their bases are one of a kind. Also my favourites here are chicken livers with chilli for starters and pollo corden blau for main course. In fact you can't go wrong with anything on their menu! I'll try and do a snap shot next time I'm in there for you ;-)

Big place, big food options and great atmosphere.
This restaurant is a great example on how to run a business. Food is good and efficient, staff is polite and they do go out of their way to make an event successful.
It's a good place to take the family and enjoy anything from stone baked Pizza's to Lasagne or great Italian salads, it's simple food.
Been here many times and it's very consistent every time and will keep coming back as it's easy and you know what to expect.

Big place, big menu. Friendly staff and a nice variety of food that doesn't compromise on flavour. I've been a few times now and haven't been disappointed once.

Fantozzi Restaurant in Southgate is a very decent italian restaurant. They have big variety of pizza and fantastic italian dishes. Always fresh and perfectly spiced as you would expect it from a stone oven made in the most traditional way on a log fire.
The only thing I don't really enjoy is the noise, the place is very loud but I guess it's because it's always busy especially in the weekend.
Fantastic service and good value for money.

A real rustic feel to the decor of this restaurant which really adds to the atmosphere of being in Italy. The food is fresh and prepared with quality ingredients. Staff are friendly with a positive attitude. Parking is on the street only or in the nearby Asda (2 minutes walk. 2 hrs free).

Such a lovely restaurant. Everything was perfect, service, atmosphere and food. The dishes are a bit pricey but the food is amazing. Will definitely visit again.

I have been going to fantozzi for 10-11 years now. My experiences have always been positive. During Covid 19, the restaurant has taken into consideration social distancing and tables have been distanced. Staff were also wearing masks. Anyways the food was great, the Napoli pizza and Daniela pizza were ordered. I had Napoli. Great pizza but toppings could have been arranged better as some slices were plain. Other than that, I enjoyed my evening. Price of pizza was £9.20 which was a bargain. Desserts looked tempting but the prices were nearly the same amount as a pizza, so we all decided to skip desserts. Overall, a great evening with great food. I would recommend to those who have not been before

Incredibly authentic Italian restaurant nestled on the Southgate high street. Was well attended to by staff and immensely impressed by the good service. I had the Scaloppa Milanese, which is basically veal escalope fried in breadcrumbs along with a Napoli spaghetti, and it was delicious. It is deceptively filling! I shared a starter of Garlic Pizza Bread, and I was blown away. It was basically a large garlic cheese and tomato pizza, which could have been a meal of itself, quite a steal to be honest! All in all, the place has a cozy, and inviting atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious Italian food. Great for families, friends, and with good company, what more could you ask for? I'll be coming back!

Came here for dinner and drinks. The atmosphere was lovely with excellent and helpful staff and the food delicious with generous portions. We ate till we were full and also managed to get a take away container for the following day. Which made it great value for money. I was going to give it 4 stars because they ran out of bannoffe pie whilst I was busy drooling over the mouth watering deserts on offer including home made vanilla cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding, however the restaurant was so nice overall they deserve a 5. We will definitely be going back!

A family favourite. Good food. Friendly staff and the owner always says hello. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The staff are never afraid to make recommendations when you can’t decide what to have. Their house red is very good too. Some of their starters are a little dear but portions are big and worth the treat. My last meal was prawns and scallops, followed by prawn and spinach tagliatelle in a white wine sauce and lastly pear tarte tartin.

A great Italian restaurant on the Southgate high road. The food is generally good, especially like the pizzas - a nice thin, smoky crust with the right amount of topping. The staff are really friendly and provided good service. A good place for small or larger groups and is family- friendly.

This restaurant is really nice. Came here with my family. As a starter we shared a Pavarotti Pizza and a sea food salad. Each one a delight. I ordered the escalope with ham (forgotten its italian name). Served with vegetables and potatoes. All delicious. In the end we were full and enjoyed our meal. The interior design is nice too. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Italian dining at its best right here in Southgate.

Amazing restaurant! There are so many restaurants coming and going in Southgate but Fantozzi is one of the longest standing and I can see why! The food looks presentable and tastes amazing and the service was quick too. Have been coming here for years and will continue to do so!
