I like game. So when a friend mentioned Nest’s new location close to my flat, I had to check it out. And Nest didn’t disappoint. The meal started with milk bread and game bird liver parfait, followed by trout rillete and fried partridge. Everything was good, with the trout being absolutely delicious. I tried two types of bread as well, and they almost stole the show from the meat/fish. Very friendly service and cool interiors too.
I’ll back to try their new seasons.
OMG - phenomenal. Alex was so fab! We did the wine pairing - highly recommend. We came for the “game season” menu and it didn’t disappoint. And, my god, the soda bread is incredible. Amazing dinner. Fantastic London restaurant.
I couldn’t leave this review quick enough. My meal at Nest was the single most enjoyable time I’ve ever had in a restaurant and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I emailed on the off chance that I’d find a seat as a solo diner and was sat at the counter in front of the kitchen. Rather than making me feel awkward or perhaps in the way, the chefs went above and beyond to greet me and engage with sincerity and kindness. Nest really captures something that a lot of restaurants try to which is a sense of ease and calm in the midst of a fast paced and chaotic environment. You can tell that the team cares about what they do. It’s obvious they’re all on the same page. From the way they move to the way they plate. That said I haven’t even mentioned the food. It was all as mesmerizingly beautiful as it was truly delicious. The menu was focused on game and the dishes served were put together and presented in ways I’ve never even imagined possible. Nothing was boring, nothing was held back, it was all perfect. I couldn’t imagine better food if I tried. It was comfortable, thoughtful, and felt special. I’m glad I was able to be a part of an evening at Near. I’ll remember my meal there forever.
I've been wanting to come here for such a long time and it exceeded my expectations. An I think that this may be my favourite restaurant in London. Every six weeks they changed their protein or Focus product and this month it was chicken. Every single dish that came out was well thought through and impressive in terms of looks and tastes.
The best thing about the whole experience was its value. £65 per head for the whole tasting money Plus £55 per person for the wine tasting pairing. Half the price of most high-end tasting menus yet probably better than most I've experienced. Can't wait to check them out when they move to Shoreditch.
Beautifully curated seasonal menu and wine list at Nest. Fantastic setting with only 7 tables. Service was great, really relaxed but mega knowledgeable! The food was delicious, each course perfectly balanced. Thanks you Nest for such an enjoyable evening.
The restaurant is quite small and can be quite hot in the summer. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken season the other night and all three mains were amazing (one of them is fish). The menu is fairly priced and would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful food and exceptional service from Alex. Great wine knowledge shared and loved the ambience. Went to their sister restaurant St Bart’s but I actually liked Nest alot better. We heard they are moving to shoreditch hopefully they can keep the love, soul and dna of nest in their new venue!
This was my fourth visit to Nest and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic meal - and every dish was delicious and different. Very generous wine pairing. Really friendly and knowledgable service. Lovely atmosphere. Still the best value for money tasting menu that I’ve done in London. We will be back!
What a treat! Nest was a very special experience, tasting the same protein (duck season for us) prepared in inventive ways. Highlights were the duck dumpling, duck pie, and the beautiful cod dish. Service was attentive and friendly, though we had one waiter who took away my friends plate immediately after she took her last bite (felt a bit abrupt). Otherwise, it was an amazing dinner and we will be back to try other seasons!
We loved it - boozy Saturday lunch. Restaurant small and very rustic. Didn't seem too promising at first, just by the looks of the place. Service friendly with time for a chat. Food absolutely Michelin star worthy, I have eaten worse at one star restaurants. All dishes were interesting and we enjoyed staying on theme (venison) through the menu. Fabulous afternoon with friends. Wines good, but wine prices quite inflated - but hey, these brilliant kids have to pay the bills and the tasting menu is an absolute treat for that money.
Good Lordy that was good! Absolutely delicious food. Fantastic wine pairings. And even better service. The whole thing was a Saturday afternoon treat. Will definitely be back to try one of their other menus. Do yourself a favour and get down to Nest. You won’t be disappointed.
Such a special place! We absolutely loved having lunch here. We had the duck menu and everything was cooked perfectly. Really clever uses of every part of the duck. We really enjoyed every single one of the dishes. The small bombs filled with liver parfait were absolutely delicious. I also did not know that celeriac could taste so so good. Definitely a must-try!!
Excellent food! Enjoyed every course, and would definitely go again. Interesting wine pairing, also very enjoyable. They were very accommodating to my our dietary requirements and made well thought changes to the courses accordingly, which was very nice. The only minus was that it was incredibly hot inside, however they are apparently moving location soon. I'm looking forward to visiting the new location!
I really enjoy coming back here with the seasonal changing menu. We came for the duck season and my favourites were the duck pie, leek, potato and cheese porridge, pollock and the BBQ duck breast. Staff are friendly and were also helpful with wine recommendations.
Simply the best restaurant hands down. Every dish in each menu we've tried has been 10/10 and the staff, chefs and owners are so welcoming. Can't wait to come back again!!
One of, if not, my favourite restaurant in London. The menu is always top notch, with local sourcing and chefs that really understand flavour. Priced at £45ish for the tasting menu, it's a steal for the quality you get in return.
We've been coming here for about four years and never had a bad meal or experience.
Always recommend this to anyone who is looking for a hidden gem.

Simply amazing, great staff, great food, great ambiance!
Great food and excellent service. Our servers always introduced the dishes clearly with interesting facts thrown in. They made accommodations for food allergies as well. The food itself was gorgeous, really enjoyed all the dishes.
