Visiting from Canada and walked in because the restaurant looked interesting. The food is fresh and delicious! Enjoyed every bite! Service was really good too even though the place was so busy. Highly recommend it!

Great food bit expensive but nice environment and friendly staff
This is rhe by far the best restaurant and value for Lebanese food outside of Beirut. The service, food, and atmosphere are awesome.
Great place, tasty food and excellent service. Amazing . I took my mum there for the first time and the experience was an unforgettable one. Will visit again ❤️❤️❤️

Delicious food. Wonderful service. A fantastic meal!! Loved it!!
Good value set menu. Kids ate well and adults too. Good choice of lamb and chicken. Lovely wine.
Went with my friends for one of my friends birthday dinner. Loved it. Great ambience and beautiful belly dancers. food was great, I tried fish for my main course which comes with rice. Staff is really helpful and cooperative. Must try :)
Great food, service, and entertainment - they went out of their way to celebrate me on my birthday so thank you!
LOVE the food at Marroush!
Have been here thrice and tried a whole lot of dishes - chicken shawarma, batata harra, hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, halloumi, Shish touk, stuffed cabbage, and baklawa. Every dish has been delightful, authentic and bursting with true Lebanese flavours. The service is quick and hassle free.
The surprise for me has been stuffed cabbage which I ordered with resistance but was pleasantly surprised with the taste. It is very flavourful with minced lamb and a great combination of spices. Have never tasted anything like it before.
This is my go-to place for Lebanese cravings!
Maroush is one of the best Lebanese restaurant I have ever been. Its a busy place but its worth a try!
We had ordered Hummus Beiruty, Baba Ghanouj and Mixed Grills. The food was great.
The best part was when we were leaving they gave us Baklava. That was the first time I tried baklava and since then its been my top favourite sweet. After which we went to the Maroush Bakery its a cafe from where I purchased Baklava.
Maroush is a traditional Lebanese restaurant - that already has quite a few siblings in London.
This one gives you live belly dancing, and in this day and age of Internet and smartphones that's refreshing.
Service was good, food as well, but note very imaginative. I had more interesting Lebanese experiences around London.
Have never experienced such authentic lebanese food ever before! Was here with my family & friends. Being vegetarians we wanted to go thru the regular order of falafel, pita, humus, babaganoush, etc., but the captain stepped in & asked us to leave the order on him. Apart from the regulars, we had some lovely beiruti humus, mediterranean rice along with some grilled cottage cheese preparation. It was all so fresh & tasted lovely. The service, ambience & the friendliness & warmth with which we were served was worth appreciating. In all, a memorable lebanese experience, right in the heart of london..
Whenever I visit London visit to this restaurant is on the top of my agenda. This is managed by fabulous people who is always, eager to serve you the best food with outstanding love and courtesy. Though I am vegetarian there is not much in the menu. But whatever has is just matchless. Their starter the way good is prepared and served is amazing. I wish I could have been none vegetarian to enjoy their menu more lavishly. I wish great success to them and an enjoyable experience to the visitor. It is a must go place.
This is a good Lebanese restaurant located on Edgeware road. The shawarma sandwich rolls are the best (chicken, lamb and mixed). Try them with the chilli sauce and the garlic sauce to enjoy it to the utmost.
Recommended by a friend, I went there with her this sat for lunch. The sitting area has few chairs on first floor and wide spread area at the basement which remains closed during afternoon. We were not really hungry so we ordered Veg Falafel, Cheese Samoset and hummus along with Pita bread. For drinks we chose carrot and mango juice. Falafel was good and so was hummus but the Pita Bread was lil disappointing. It was very hard which made it difficult to chew. The juices were fresh and the best part was their Cheese Samoset. Loved it to the core.. Am not a big fan of Lebanese food but really liked it here..
This is the best Lebanese restaurant I've ever been to. The food is even better than the Lebanese places in Dubai which was a pleasant surprise.
The service was excellent and I would definitely recommend this joint to everyone. The chicken and the lamb they use is of very good quality because, there are a lot of places where chicken and lamb taste stale but, the food here is exceptional. They even gave us complementary baklava which was delish.
Used to love Maroush but the quality has gone down. They serve pita bread from Tesco with hummous. They used to serve it with freshly baked bread. Don't understand how they charge so much for their hummous if they give you cheap stuff. Other places don't charge nearly as much but they give you fresh bread. However, their hummous is by far the best hummous I've had in my life and I've had hummous in Dubai before. Their chicken donner is amazing too.
I have been going this place since last 4year, every time I go here I love the food more and more want to try more of the food item, falafel the way they make it's just excellent, I have one thing to say about the staff not very helpful, but rest everything is good so it make up, my highlight will be the hummus since last 4year I been going here it's the same taste that why I like to go here & yaa try there fresh mango juice one of the best overall 5star will be back next month :)
Recomend. Atmosphere is great, so was the service, but I could spend the rest of my life eating nothing but their hummus. So good!
24 years ive been going here. Each and every time I am in London I re-visit this gorgeous restaurant.. Its so relaxed and decadent,
The standard of the food or the service has never changed its first class..
It is simply Lebanese food at its best !!!
Maroush is another place that’s become a chain that, while not doing the best Lebanese food in London, is always reliable and consistent. Decent opening hours too make it one of the better options in town if you’re looking for an early morning feed – the mixed shawarma is excellent value and tastes great.
Amazing place for Middle Eastern food....great ambience....go for simple humous and pitta bread and you would fall for it....leave aside thr rest of the menu...and top it up with baklava....ummmm!!!!!
They've got like 4-5 different branches just in Edgware Road Marble Arch and Baker Street literally next to eachother. Ahaha they're taking over the famous Edgware Road in terms of presentation, quality and persistence. Literally on Eid none could get in and the waiting lists just crazy! Umm, now speaking from personal experience not all the branches give or perform the best way. Some branches are more take away or break fast material other branches have got a lounge area prestige and that kinda stuff. So again, it defers from branch to branch the quality of food they present. But personally, food it quiet good which ever branch I've visited. If you ain't going to try all.. (You really don't have to) defiantly try Maroush Gardens!
The food according to me was bit dry , nothing to great but I still managed to like it. The portions were very huge and I managed to eat a lot because my diet is enormous.
The service was good , staff was very attentive , I probably had best baklava , it is must try if you think of going there.
According to me this place is more than okay and I might be going here again .
The place offers Lebanese food. The food is delicious and appetising and the portions are satisfying. We went on with the chef's tasting menu, which was totally worth the price. It was a very satisfying and filling meal. There were a variety of appetisers, main course and dessert, which was truly fulfilling. The place also has live music and performances by belly dancers. Totally worth a visit.
I had a good time here, though something was missing. The fillings are really big and I was stuffed till I left. The food is delicious but too expensive. I was surprised to find a DJ turn up some music on a Monday night and then I suddenly spotted a belly dancer. This place makes me very curious and I wonder what it is like in the week.
This joint was built on the idea of serving delicious food and not the idea of being business savvy. The food here was delicious and is completely worth the money!
However, if one is looking to enjoy a restaurant experience, it is better to visit Ranoush Juice or Beirut Express.
I recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved their food. This place is a vegetarian's heaven. The Falafels that I had were perfect. The only thing that I didn't like was that they kept turning off the lights. Also, the music got so loud at one point of time that I couldn't even talk to the person sitting across the table. Though I love the music but it was a bit too loud and I was unable to have any conversation with my partner.
While on a hunt for a cheaper chicken shawarma wrap, we explored this hidden treasure. This restaurant is top quality in every sense of the word. The price isn't too bad either. I recommend that you must try their hummus starter and Lebanese coffee. A great experience for a sudden unplanned visit.
The place offers Lebanese cuisine. The portions are enormous and the food tastes just as good as it looked. We were two of us and ended up ordering two main course dishes and one smoothie, as we estimated that the portions of the food are going to be huge. And so they were. We somehow managed to finish our dishes but still could not finish the accompaniments. We were also given a complimentary fruit bowl at the end of the meal, which also we could not finish. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The ambience of the place is also good and it offers live entertainment but we were too early to witness that. The food is delicious and even though it seems a bit pricey, the portions justify the price completely. A must-try for a good time and good food.
Leaping on opportunity to try Lebanese cuisine with a friend, we decided to try this flagship restaurant of the chain. The other restaurants of this chain namely Beirut Express have already set a high standard for us! The expectation is high and i must say they indeed did not disappoint!
This is a place where you can get authentic kebabs and you won't regret how much you are paying for it.
The service was just okay. I would not say good because I had to wait for a while for my order.
So despite all the flaws, I would still recommend this place because the kebabs are very tasty.
I always make it a point to visit this place when I am in the city. It has to be amongst the best restaurants serving this cuisine. It is done up so beautifully and is gorgeous to look at. The ambience is rather relaxing and fun. The quality of the food and the service provided has always been top notch.
I have been visiting this place since the last four years and each time I visit this place, I fall in love with the food more than ever. I love the way they make their falafel. It exudes culinary excellence. I advice the owner to make the staff a little bit more cooperative.
Great place for Lebanese food. You know the drill, order a selection of starters at the beginning, with humous, and some other dips, and then a main. I love to try new things every time, so we ordered baba ghanouj and bastorma, along with humous and bread to share. We didn't want to order too much for starters, because every time I go to a Lebanese place, I get full at the end of the starter, but this time, we really wanted to have room for the main to be able to enjoy it. For this course , I had the roast lamb, which was succulent.
If you go for a la carte menu, it can be a bit pricy, however , they do have very cheap set menus, which I haven't tried, but they seem to be really good. The atmosphere is really nice, the restaurant is cosy and decorated in an arabic/Moroccan style.
I will definitely go back there soon, as I am starting to crave it just by writing about it.
Probably one of my favourite Lebanese restaurants. Living in London I've developed an aversion to kebabs but when I come to this place all that stays behind the door.
The hummus and pitta is my standard appetiser. For my mains I go for a kebab or a mixed grill.
instead of deserts I prefer to go for a nice cup of frensh mint tea.
Service seems to vary but overall this place is superior to most of the other restaurants in the area.
Really good, fresh quality, Lebanese food. The atmosphere inside can make you forget it is a chain restaurant, and it allows you to emerge into the Middle-Eastern vibe. There is a great selection of lamb and the hummus is really good. It is perhaps a little on the expensive side, so if you know a local independent Lebanese, I would try it first, but not a bad alternative for when you really crave some falafel.
Maroush Restaurant is a great venue offering you a various kind of Lebanese food!
The programme as live performancing belly dancing was great, the services we received was very friendly and showed to me and my friend the table.
Best falafel and Roasted Lamb, delicious meals prepared from freshly and natural products.
Great lebanese cuisine, cozyness and amazing atmoshpehere will definetely visit it again!
Highly recommended for a good Lebanese meal!
Been to almost all their branches in London. We visited Maroush often for the amazing middle eastern cuisine and would have sampled a large section of their menu. We have tried their hot and cold mezzes and a variety of sheekh kebabs. Their shawarmas are out of the world and the fruit mocktails always delivered. Oh, and the baklavaas, don't even get me started. Portions are large, good service and value for money. Highly recommended!
if you like lebanese food then you'll like maroush i went there a couple of months ago and i enjoyed the food and the atmosphere :)
Shawarma, hummus and pita - instant hits. My favourite Lebanese dishes, shisha, lively colourful street full of people; it can't get any better. Try the dual flavoured shisha, I had mint and apple.
Oooh my, just the thought of Maroush makes me drool. Out of all the restaurants under the Maroush umbrella, I do prefer the one in High Street Kensington the most.
So I have been to this place a couple of times, once even to attend the live belly dancing thing with live music that goes around in the basement for a friend's birthday. I have to say, first and foremost, the hospitality and the staff are great at each and every one of the Maroush outlets!! They always make you feel so so welcomed, its amazing. Due to this quality I think one doesn't even mind queuing up for this place.
One dish specifically, I cannot get out of my head is the lamb shank - falls of the bone, melts in your mouth and what not. I think that for me is the king of this place. Moving on, I love the grills and the garlic sauce, the fattoush is my favorite salad in here and I love the grilled halloumi too. Although, this place is not amazing if you are a vegetarian in my opinion cos all you would get then is aubergine or chick peas curry which are somewhat bland so do not bother going here if you are one as I am pretty sure you would feel over charged for the price you pay.
The price again is above-average and some people might not feel its completely justified but I think it also has to do lots with the location of these restaurants (quite posh and pricy) so hence, I think it is legit as almost all the restaurants in this area would be expensive, except the KFC's and the McD's of course.
I do love this place for its the ambiance, food and the baklava, basically all of it and hence I recommends! :)
A top lebanese restaurant in edgware road. The falafel and hommus are delicious and the shawarma is to die for.
The various branches of Maroush along Edgware Road are an institution! This place serves great Middle Eastern food. This varies from having a quick sharwarma to take away or sitting down and tucking into a full platter.
The location always seem to be busy, and due to the late opening hours, is always a popular evening stop-off for those enjoying London by night.
There is a good choice of dishes and something even for the vegetarians. Falafel always seems to be a popular choice.
Great atmosphere with a busy buzz.
Good grub, reminds me of middle east. I have been to Lebanon on a couple of occasions and this thing comes close to the real thing.
The place also has quite a few options like shawarma wrap that some people would go for, but I feel that is an insult to this place. Sit down and soak the place, I like the buzz and the Arabic banter in background.
Starters, my favorite is Fatoush salad, mains I normally go for Shish Tawooq (not being very bold here, am I) ? Also try the baklava in the end to finish with a sweet note.
If you are a fan of food from the middle east, then it is likely that you have heard of this place. Of all the different Maroush's dotted around Edg Road and beyond, this is probably the largest and best of them all. Just reading the menu is bound to get your taste buds tingling. The shawarma is an excellent choice for any time of the day. It arrives as a succulent dish, full of the passion which is part of this culture. The rice dishes are steamed to perfection, and subsequently I've never had a bad experience in my regular visits to this place. Staff are great, location is great its hard to find a reason why you shouldn't go!
I went to Maroush with one of Lebanese friends who promised me a nice taster of the Lebanese food. We were offered a seat in the basement which has a nice comfortable nightclub feel to it. A bit late into the night it got pretty lively with live music and a belly dancer. The humus was silky smooth, the bread right out of the oven, and the meat tender.
We were offered free desserts and they were quite nice too. The service leaves a bit to be desired.
A great night out, starting with a glass of refreshing melon juice. We had some of hummus, tabboleh and meze - we had to wait a while for our main course as the restaurant was busy. But nice music and good atmosphere. We found the price reasonable and will definitely try another Maroush restaurant (as there are so many) again soon.
Part of the Maroush empire, this is the original and one of the largest of the bunch.
I arrived with a group of friends on friday evening and was promptly told we had to have their £35 set menu. Not a great way to start the evening but we decided to just go for it - you are not only paying for food but there is music and a belly dancer as well! I guess if money was more of a concern we might have been annoyed as there was no warning that that this was the case when we booked.
The entertainment was a good laugh and the food was decent arabic fare - tasty bread, humous, tabouleh and mezze to start followed by mains consisting largely of lamb cooked in a number of ways!
One issue I do have with the place is that the waiters are a bit rude - they made a mistake on our bill (how this is posible when there is a set menu is beyond me) and took about 10 minutes to sort it out. Reading other reviews apparently they have a bit of a reputation for below par service.
However, we had a decent night and enjoyed the entertainment and food, although it was quite expensive.
Fantastic food at its price!
The hummus is extremely well done, the wine leaves rolls are Lebanese like, totally tasty! Baklava and fruits are served as desert as a courtesy of the restaurant! It's worth every pence spent on it!
Try! ;))
Fantastic authentic fresh food!
Chargrilled chicken was outstanding and the atmosphere, live music and belly dancer were very enjoyable - we all had a lot of fun. Staff is very friendly, portions very generous and prices affordable for London. If you have not tried Lebanese food before, this is a great place to start.
One of the best Shawerma in London! It combines the Syrian and the Lebanese taste of Shawerma. We enjoyed our sandwiches. The garlic is also great and tasty. Staff are so kind. Recommend it.

The food is very tasty, the hummus and salads are delicious, especially Waraa' Enab (vine leaves) stuffed with rice, lemon, tomatoes and green onions, in short many refreshing salads, moreover a special shish Taouk grilled flavor, we also enjoyed chicken shawarma as well
What a magical night, i have head so much about Maroush chain restaurants but had never been. Was feeling extremely hungry as I arrived and was not disappointed. I was full to the point i had to unbutton my belt.
The food was tender, moist and cooked perfectly. The live music was hilarious as the lady and gent singing got all the diners involved in the fun also.
Will definitely be returning, thank you Maroush.
What a delightful place to visit! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was second to none! I'll definitely be visiting again!
Exceptional food and great service. 4 of us had mixed grills and a bottle of the house red with hummous and breads and were more than satisfied. Tasty Lebanese food with great flavours and spices brought to us swiftly by polite waiting staff who were very friendly. Very happy we found this place!
One of the best restaurant on Edgware road. I make sure to take anyone visiting me to this place. The food is really good especially their doner and shishtawk warps, falafel platter, hummus and vermicelli rice. Highly recommended but be ready to queue to get in especially around dinner time as it gets extremely busy.
Tasty food. Good service. A little tight for space. Air conditioning was on full, was very cold! But that might not be a problem for everyone. Overall a good experience. A bit on the pricy side even by Edgeware Road standards.
This is very nice Lebanese halal restaurant on Edgware Road near Marble Arch London. If you are in London and want to taste Lebanese food than must try it. It’s really delicious food here. Worth taking.
I’ve been to other Maroush before and I was expecting better quality and portion size.
However, the food is always really good.
Nice restaurant. Very clean. Service could be better. Atmosphere is a little dead at times. Parking close to this restaurant is an issue. Will go back in the future
Great food and great service. Lebanese beer is also worth a try
