Went here with a friend after strolling through the Natural History Museum. The place is gorgeous and great for pics and conversation. Their portions are definitely hearty, it took awhile for us to finish all our food. Staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive, despite the place being pretty empty when we were there.

Loved the place. Prompt and attentive service, great suggestions and I had the most amazing saltbush rump of lamb and I will go back for more. Perfect place to chill out on your own on a rainy evening with amazing food and lively beers and wines to match

One of my favourite spots in London. I was here recently with my Mum for dinner and it was gorgeous. We both opted for the half grilled chicken with all the trimmings and then shared a pavlova. Food was really tasty and I would highly recommend coming here next time you are in the area. I love the layout it is very chilled and homey. All round winner.

This is my favorite Bumpkin, hands down!

As with their Chelsea location, Bumpkin is a distinctly British experience and highlights the absolute best of hearty, British cuisine. Everything from burgers to lamb chops to pies, Bumpkin caters to all.

Decor at this location is a bit more polished than the Chelsea one, but similar with large wooden tables, large chairs, festive wall paper...Somehow both rustic and upscale. Casual but worth getting a bit dressed up for.

The food is pretty much the best and I have had many many a pleasant meal here. I've included a series of photos from various visits to showcase their wide breadth of menu options. I would recommend their MacNCheese and Ribs for the starter, and if you have not already tried their Steak & Ale pie, you really really ought to. My favorite dessert here is their chocolate log.

Pricey but well worth it. Perfect for an intimate dinner with a close friend or loved one.

You just have to end the meal with the sticky toffee pudding.. I must say its one of the best.. Not overly sweet, spongy and soft pudding, fragrant from the spice and lovely toffee sauce and the vanilla ice cream that comes with it is a happy marriage of flavours…

Delicious, British food done well! Lots of feel-good food as well as lighter options. Will definitely go back! Hard to go wrong with picking this restaurant!

Bumpkin is your best weapon against cold weather! This place is very cosy and warm and serves delicious "comfort" food. The pies are a must, with the steak pie being my favorite. I have also heard that the fish and chips are delicious too. Beware though, portions are very large! I wasn't too impressed by the deserts menu, however the rest of the menu is great!

Nice and cozy place. I wasn’t amazed by the Full English Breakfast but the Mac and Cheese were really good. I have to add the Toffee Pudding was superb. Our waiter was really helpful, joyful and polite.

It's been a long time since I've visited this particular restaurant and I'm pleased to say that nothing's changed. You still receive a warm welcome and a great choice of well cooked British favourites. Always check out the daily specials as more often than not there's something memorable to be found.

We spent a lovely afternoon two days ago with our friends celebrating our 25 th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, service very slick and the private room upstairs charming.

The breakfast is delicious (always a fan of Eggs Royale!), the staff is helpful and the decor is cosy, it could do with some TLC around the nooks and crannies.

Popped in to Bumpkin after a disappointing visit in another restaurant in Kensington. Such a lovely place! It has a strong pub-like vibe but with full service and much cleaner tables. I had great fish and chips, really one of the best I've ever tried. Mussels with cider were also very good. Service was upstanding, waitress was checking in with us was fairly quick with our orders given the never of people dining. They have modest selection of wines and some non alcoholic drinks which is always a plus.i will be back for sure.

We wanted to have Sunday roast and Bumpkin was close to where we were. It turned out to be a fantastic meal. Rare roast beef slices with a fabulous horseradish sauce, Yorkies with gravy (I wouldn't have minded another couple of those), some potatoes and carrots and what I think were collard greens, and some cheese cauliflower. We finished it off with some sticky toffee pudding which was amazing. Combined with eating outside and some agreeable weather, it was a great meal! I have no idea how authentic of a Sunday roast meal it was, as I have nothing with which I can compare it, but every bite was tasty!

Very nice good and service. Tables could have been cleaner and decor generally improved but it kept a pub feel about it which worked. The lamb was cooked to perfection. Slightly strange infra red camera pointing down at our table if being mildly picky. Main and starter with drinks hit almost 45 a head which is on the high side

Had a delicious slow-roasted lamb shoulder dish with root vegetables. Very tender and flavorful. The restaurant has a tastefully rustic decor, which was enhanced by complementary Christmas decorations during my visit in December. Enjoyable visit.

Wonderful seemingly small, quaint restaurant with outside seating and a well stocked bar at the entry. Once you enter you find its quite large with an upstairs VIP room. The chef does marvelous things with... everything... then comes the sticky toffee dessert, absolute heaven. We will make this a regular stop when we want a special treat. Did I mention the staff? Excellent and friendly.

We arrived late on a Thursday and they kindly kept the kitchen open to feed us. Went back for Sunday roast today and it was more of the fabulous same - cosy fun atmosphere, couples, families, singles, young and old. Great quality Brit fare, friendly service. We would never eat at same place twice in 4 days especially in a town like London with so much choice but this was really solid. Thankyou people’s!

Had a nice post-Thanksgiving Sunday turkey roast, which came with tasty roast potatoes, an excellent Yorkshire Pudding and a mix of cabbage, carrots and celery. Overall very good, though the cranberry sauce seemed to be free of cranberries. Drinks are quite expensive, food price might even count as to-be-expected in South Ken. A 12.5% service charge is mandatory on top. The interior felt rustic, homelike and very comfortable, but nothing too special. They have an open-space kitchen, but most of the action is a bit in the back, so we didn't notice a lot of cooking smells but couldn't see the chef at work either. The service was good overall. Nothing to complain really, but at times the waiters could have let their eyes wander a little more.
