Nice and cozy place. I wasn’t amazed by the Full English Breakfast but the Mac and Cheese were really good. I have to add the Toffee Pudding was superb. Our waiter was really helpful, joyful and polite.
It's been a long time since I've visited this particular restaurant and I'm pleased to say that nothing's changed. You still receive a warm welcome and a great choice of well cooked British favourites. Always check out the daily specials as more often than not there's something memorable to be found
English cuisine. Very good food. Open kitchen. Nice interiors. Long bar at the entrance to grab a beer or two.
We spent a lovely afternoon two days ago with our friends celebrating our 25 th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, service very slick and the private room upstairs charming.
Cocktails, food and service are excellent, thanks to the team for such amazing night!
We were the first people in there but the service was fast and friendly, food and beverages were delicious and nicely presented
Very nice place. Good drinks. Good food. Good service.
Wonderful food amd service. Mushroom pie. Fish and chips. Burger. Pancakes. Excellent not your usual english fare.
Excellent place.. Our bartender Jordan was absolutely awesome.. Great friendly guy that made the best drinks I ever had... Long hot summer is a must try drink that you'll absolutely love..
The breakfast is delicious (always a fan of Eggs Royale!), the staff is helpful and the decor is cosy, it could do with some TLC around the nooks and crannies.
Very good gastropub. Food is excellent.
Popped in to Bumpkin after a disappointing visit in another restaurant in Kensington. Such a lovely place! It has a strong pub-like vibe but with full service and much cleaner tables. I had great fish and chips, really one of the best I've ever tried. Mussels with cider were also very good. Service
We wanted to have Sunday roast and Bumpkin was close to where we were. It turned out to be a fantastic meal. Rare roast beef slices with a fabulous horseradish sauce, Yorkies with gravy (I wouldn't have minded another couple of those), some potatoes and carrots and what I think were collard greens,
Very nice good and service. Tables could have been cleaner and decor generally improved but it kept a pub feel about it which worked. The lamb was cooked to perfection. Slightly strange infra red camera pointing down at our table if being mildly picky. Main and starter with drinks hit almost 45 a he
Had a delicious slow-roasted lamb shoulder dish with root vegetables. Very tender and flavorful. The restaurant has a tastefully rustic decor, which was enhanced by complementary Christmas decorations during my visit in December. Enjoyable visit.
Wonderful seemingly small, quaint restaurant with outside seating and a well stocked bar at the entry. Once you enter you find its quite large with an upstairs VIP room. The chef does marvelous things with... everything... then comes the sticky toffee dessert, absolute heaven. We will make this a re
We arrived late on a Thursday and they kindly kept the kitchen open to feed us. Went back for Sunday roast today and it was more of the fabulous same - cosy fun atmosphere, couples, families, singles, young and old. Great quality Brit fare, friendly service. We would never eat at same place twice in
Had a nice post-Thanksgiving Sunday turkey roast, which came with tasty roast potatoes, an excellent Yorkshire Pudding and a mix of cabbage, carrots and celery. Overall very good, though the cranberry sauce seemed to be free of cranberries. Drinks are quite expensive, food price might even count as
