Me & my friends come here all the time. fantastic selection of red wines, above all.. the best (Smokey) Old Fashion cocktail you will find in the UK specially made by bar manager Miguel. We also love the food here, must have are the Croquetas de Jamón (ham croquette), iberico ham & Padrón Peppers. Above all, the service is excellent
Excellent. Stumbled across whilst exploring. Friendly enjoyable experience. Beautiful setting....but the sun was shining. Would definitely recommend a visit and will return.
Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Will be sure to go back and recommend to friends 👍🏻
Excellent food with great service. Very enjoyable evening
Amazing. But need to play Spanish music
Buenisimo en todos los sentidos volvere
We had a lovely meal at this Iberica Restaurant. Friendly staff, who recommended us just the right amount of food - it does vary on how hungry you are, but just ask the waiters if what you're ordering is enough or too much and they will humbly give their opinion.
All the food is made with the best ingredients, proven when you order simple dishes (ie ham and cheese etc). The dark rice (made with squid ink) and the "croquetas" are delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant when you are a group, as you end up trying a bigger variety of tapas.
Despite it isn't cheap, it is definitely worthy for the quality of the food. Will keep coming back to this and any other Iberica restaurants every time I want to have a great meal with friends!
Loved the ambience and the wait staff was outstanding. We were really pleased with the wine menu and cocktails were spot on! Pork belly special was amazing and cod balls were delish. Paella however was very underwhelming... absolutely flavorless and no socorrat at all. Most impressive was the Crema Catalina Foam. A superb dessert and perfect ending to a beautiful London evening!
I like this place. It feels authentic, good food, efficient service, good wine and nice service but I went a Monday weeknight so no mad rush from the massive population of white collars workers in the Wharf.
A good hideout for the winter suitable for business meal, catch-up with friends or lover(s) ;p
Recommend go for 3 tapas dishes each if super hungry but 2 if you just want a munchie. The iberica pork was so tender I'd have it any day.
Amazing atmosphere, the food was delicious.
If you love tapas you definitely need to try this.
Friendly service, our waiter made our night special.
There are venues where I know, without hesitation, that the food will be delicious. Places I seek out for myself if I need a quick bite to eat and where I take my friends if they want a recommendation. Ibérica is firmly in that category – I’ve been to all their London outlets several times. In fact, Ibérica at Canary Wharf used to be the ‘odd one out’ with a more contemporary feel and less space to actually eat. They’ve had a facelift though and there is now more seating and a vintage Spanish feel about the place. There’s also Ibérica La Terraza, a pretty outdoor terrace in the square just in front of the restaurant. An invitation to taste their summer menu was quickly accepted – a chance to try a whole selection of dishes washed down with plenty of Spanish wine.
Handsome space. We were a party of three for lunch and asked our Portuguese colleague to order tapas for the table.
Fried squid with alioli was my favourite. Breaded and deep fried chorizo lollipops which came with pear alioli were great too. Asparagus toast was rich and cheesy and dressed with truffle oil and grilled green asparagus.
The rest of our order was good but not outstanding. Pan con tomate was a good size portion that could have had more garlic rubbed into the bread for my taste. Padron peppers were lovely, but that is a dish that is pretty much impossible to mess up. Recipes for ham croquettes can vary, and these ones were cheesy and bechamel based rather than mashed potato based. Pleasant but a little too rich for me especially as we had the large portion with 12 croquettes. The Half and Half board of charcuterie and cheese was a generous filler and good value but nothing really special. It contained lomo, chorizo, fuet, manchego and a little quince jelly.
I was happy with lunch and will gladly return. Drinking tap water, a big lunch was under £18 a head, so decent value. We arrived right at 12, and service was extremely prompt. Not sure if that would still be the case an hour later when the restaurant is full.
It has to be said, that if you were asked to describe the alcoholic beverage of Spain, it’s more than likely that you’d name wines such as Cava, Rioja or Priorat (my favourite region), or maybe Sherry, and perhaps even Gin in line with the trendy gin and tonic movement so popular in Spain at the moment. But it’s unlikely that you’d immediately think of beer, and there’s a good reason for that – Spain doesn’t have a long beer producing history, and with the exception of Estrella I’d be pushed to name a brand. Our evening at Iberica, Canary Wharf has changed all that.
Good food for a reasonable (we are in London) price. We went there during the week in the evening and had a great time. Food was well cooked, the variety of tapas was ok and the wine was delicious. I do still prefer Fino's tapas but that is a lot further away from CW. So looking at the area I think it is the best Spanish place in CW.
The three hams are top quality stuff, no doubt. All distinctive different with their characters, but all equally exquisite in flavours. I started with the Salamanca, one that was described as the sweetest of the trio. The beautiful marbling lard melted on tongue to unveil the sweet essence in the oil; the mellow flavours of meat were slowly released and left a trail of aromatic nuttiness.
After my recent Indian period, it looks like I'm now in a Spanish phase: Ibérica is my second tapas place today! Luckily, this time I went with my wife, so I got to sample more of what was on offer!
We started with a Trio of Ibérico hams (quite pricy at £22 for a portion that seems to be dwindling every time we go). The quality is good though, you can really taste the difference between the three hams, and they are cut by hand. This goes well with some tomato bread.
We then continued with some Padrón peppers (had to be done) and patatas bravas - we had to add salt to both of these, unusual for a Spanish restaurant - and some fried calamari with alioli sauce (very good).
The octopus a la gallega was very nice and tender, and it was served with potatoes and pimentón. We also ordered the twice cooked lamb - amazingly tender and juicy, but crisp on the outside, served with marinated cherry tomatoes and red peppers - and the Gloria Cachopo - a patty of minced beef and pork filled with Asturian cheese. This was also very good (and quite salty, for once).
The wine was really good value - £27 for a very nice bottle of Albarín from León.
This restaurant has a very cosy and elegant setting, with a vibrant atmosphere. It is a great place for a nice night out. The waiters are very attentive, we didn't encounter any incident, and we had a very pleasant meal.
When it comes down to the food, we were a bit disappointed. The menu is very varied and everything on there looked delicious. The plate descriptions were very elaborate, and made the food sound very good, even better than it actually is, and I think that is what was disappointing. The menu gave us high expectations, which the actual food didn't meet. But don't get me wrong, it was good, we just expected it to be excellent.
You have to try the chorizo lollipops though, they are delicious.
The price is very fair, you can get a nice meal for about £30, including drinks.
In conclusion, I had a very nice dinner, despite the tiny disappointment.

Very nice food and setting, can become expensive with variety available. Allow plenty of time during lunch as can get busy.
Went to iberica with some friends and I was impressed with the food. It serves traditional tapas with a twist for example the chorizo lollipop which was tasty and fun to eat! One of my favourite dish is the Padron pepper, simple but so tasty. Also the sangria is lovely. Nice place to hang out and have chat with your friends although price wise it's a bit more upmarket.
This restaurant serves traditional Spanish cuisine. It is closeby my office. Went there with some colleagues.
Good variety of tapas ad excellent presentation.
Service was impeccable. Service throughout was attentive and informative (definitely necessary if its your fist time) but without being over bearing.
They have an extensive wine list.
All in all, this was a restaurant with good food, wine and an authentic feel.
On the whole, a very nice experience, and the small plates and sharing is a fun way to enjoy many dishes.
Iberica is an authentic Spanish Tapas restaurant in the heart of Canary Wharf. For meat lovers, it offers an excellent selection of cured meats and chorizos. There are a large variety of delicious croquettes, mains and paellas available (vegetarian and non vegetarian). Also have a range of wines to go with the food. Definitely recommended...
Chorizo lollipops with pear alioli sauce, black rice with cuttlefish, crispy confit of Segovian suckling pig, slow stewed Fen chicken, gazpacho of red berries, beetroot and anchovy... need I go on?
If you like trying new, tantalisingly imagined dishes then you will probably like Iberica, the upmarket tapas bar in Canary Wharf.
The food is excellent but, for tapas, not cheap and the fine selection of wines will add heftily to your bill. Their mains, including paella, are around the £20 mark and up but just as good.
They also specialise in dried meats and cheeses, with many types of ham, cured at different rates to produce their own distinctive flavours.
The decor is uncomplicated and modern and the feel a little pacey, with a steady flow of lunching business people. But the staff are pleasant and accommodating.
Best to book ahead.
It was such a pleasant dining experience. And the funny part is, I never noticed there's Iberica on Canary Wharf. The entrance is barely visible from the street.
The service was great, professional, but friendly. The food was great: you should try their double cooked lamb, and their churros are fantastic. Just don't come in a rush: the restaurant gets quite busy in the evening.
I'm looking forward to returning in a few months!
I had gone to Iberica in Farringdon which was great and this didn't disapoint either. All dishes were small to medium sized tapa style for sharing which worked perfectly for our dinner. Favourite included cheese board, twice cooked lamb, octopus and the churros, but all dishes were tasty.
The wines were good enough but not at the same level as the food.
All in all a good spanish resturant if you want to try different things and with grear flavours.
My partner and I visited london over this weekend and we love exploring new restaurants and trying new foods! We came across this place in Canary Wharf and not only did the dining area look gorgeous, the food was also so delicious! We did go really late however they still were able to do everything we asked for! We have the paella for main and it was amazing and the perfect amount for us both! The waiters and waitresses were also really lovely and their service was great! Would definitely go back!
We did lunch here upon the recommendation of my Spanish colleague. We ordered a few dishes to share and they were all very delicious. About GBP30 per person. I like Pluma Iberia and Pork papaya and Prawns in particular. Highly recommended.
Flavoursome meals with a great atmosphere so you can hear each other. Only negative aspect for some people is that the main dishes may take a while to come. However, I didn’t mind this too much as it took time to digest the great tapas plates! Will definitely come back.
The food is very tasty and perfectly presented, but above all, the service is excellent.
Silvio in particular was amazing and very carefully and patiently ran us through the menu in light of our dietary requirements, highlighting safe options and dishes to avoid.
The only reason why this isn't a 5 star review is because we felt the dishes could have been bigger in size.
Good experience. We've ordered the padrones, patatas bravas, smoked aubergine, vegetable ceviche, croquetas, cauliflower tempura and the toast with tomatoes. The best one was the vegetable ceviche - really recommended. The aubergine and the cauliflower were a bit disappointing - the aubergine was too smoked and the cauliflower very dry. Slightly overpriced for the quality they offer. We may visit again to try some other dishes. The atmosphere and location are nice.
So loud, our party and the restaurant’s team kept mishearing each other 😆 Everything was great except the tortilla which was fine but one of the least tasty I’ve had. A rotten olive in the olives but quick service (as they needed the table back). Tried to charge us for a beer we didn’t order, obviously they removed it when we pointed it out but no sorry. It’s expensive but it is Canary Wharf…
Delicious Spanish food in a well designed restaurant for a bit expensive price.
We've tried several different tapas, the olives were brilliant, the meat and cheese board was good but not exceptional, the tomato bread was really tasty too. The padron peppers, the octopus and the crispy aubergine is a must to try.
Also for desserts the churros and the flan was a perfect ending for our dinner, it was perfect.
For all this plus for 3 glass of wine and 3 negroni we've paid 150 £, which is okay but honestly we weren't full after all these foods, the portions are not very big since they're tapas.
The service was good, although I felt they are a bit overwhelmed and we had to chase them sometimes.
If you are looking for delicious Spanish food, then this is your place! I went there with my friends for dinner and drinks and we had an great time.
Amazing food! Very well presented and tasty.
The service we received was more than amazing, friendly and professional. Would definitely go back there I highly recommend this place. And last but not least...you MUST leave a room for some dessert!!!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars...!
Gracias!
Fantastic food and good service. Not cheap, but the Paella with a crispy sofrito and the melt in the mouth jamon are worth it. Friendly and attentive staff and very quick service. Can handle larger groups.
Not cheap, but delicious!
The food and service was so good! Many thanks to Alexandra who was absolutely amazing, genuinely one of the best in the business and was super helpful sweet!
We were surprised by how good the food was. You don’t expect a Spanish restaurant to be this good out of Spain. The octopus was delicious, so good that we ordered a second one, croquettes were also a highlight.
Pretty good tapas place.. Everything was nice and the portions are reasonable. The cured meats are nice and the squid ink is nice. I pretty much ate the whole menu and was very full! A bit of gluttony was done here. In fact I think you only need 3 dishes... Our party went a bit crazy and ordered 50 dishes... Which was bit overkill and we could not finish it all.. Very nice decor and atmosphere too. In the heart of canary wharf. Service was good too
I love this place. Been here many times for a business trip, now back for a short family trip.
The food and service never disappoint, the owner/manager is a gem.
Book well in advance, you won’t be disappointed.
The food was good, they have a few vegetarian options. The staff was helpful and kind. The dessert was really good. They have ample seating for everyone. It is best to go there with a reservation.
