Landmark spot for some incredible Indian food! Each dish we had was better than the last. Service was good and price was fair. Since this spot is so well known you'll need to book a reservation weeks in advance or be prepared for a lengthy standby line. But it's all worth it!

Great place for Bombay style Indian cuisine. Service is excellent, lines are quick and no hassle. Place was recommended to us as must visit in London and it truly stands. Worth to note that cocktails are at level of the food, I can recommend old fashioned especially.

As we entered into this big two story restaurant, during lunch time, we noticed how efficiently the staff was working. Like a well oiled machine, it didn’t matter how many people they were serving, they were very attentive and quick on picking up the dirty dishes and bringing new set of dishes and silverware. The menu offers delicious Indian food that is unlike any run of the mill restaurants we’d seen before. The portions are small and perfect for sharing, if you and your company want to try different dishes in one seating. Delicious spices and flavors, that entice any palette. An extremely busy restaurant, with an extremely good system in place. By the way, I would highly recommend their freshly baked naan. This was definitely one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve ever been too.

Being a big consumer of Indian restaurants in Paris I was curious to discover the famous Dishoom. Quite simply the best Indian restaurant of my life, the decor, the atmosphere, the very varied menu, the quality service, the speed and obviously the tastes. If you pass through London you must come and eat here. As beautiful as it is delicious, an excellent culinary journey.

Fantastic quality of the food and service. Alberto was very prompt and efficient. I would also like to mention manager Helena she was very friendly and had a good chat with us. It felt so nice that the vibe and environment of this place is tremendous. They have big space so they can fit a lot of people. Food was very authentic. They have really nice drinks. They also do superb desserts highlight of that will be the chocolate pudding with chilli ice cream. I know it doesn't sound great, but this will blow your mind away.

A great place for brunch. Interesting and long menu. House chai is a must try, especially on a typical cold and wet London day. The decor is as close as one gets to the colonial days in South East Asia.

Overall, this place is really good! Most if not all of the plates are small and you’re meant to order a bunch of different ones to share. Our favorite dishes were the chilli chicken, house black daal, and chicken ruby along with the garlic naan and cheese naan. There’s usually a long line but it moves quick, and they serve free chai/drinks while you wait!

We had a beautiful lunch here for our graduation meal and our friends birthday 🎂. The waitress was lovely and sorted us out with individual bills and a desert for our birthday friend. The food was delicious and we were all really happy with our food and the service 😁 we will definitely come again xx

You need to wait atleast 1 hr outside the restaurant to get in, they offer masala chai to everyone standing in the queue which is a nice offer on my opinion. Food: is pretty descent. You get not so big portions though so order accordingly. taste is also very close to authentic so it's nice Atmosphere: Can get too loud sometimes because it is pretty crowded restaurant so not something if you are looking for a quite or chill time. Staff is pretty friendly and helpful.

Hands down best Indian food I had. BUT >1 hour wait time on a THURSDAY in line OUTSIDE is crazy…a bit too much. Wouldn’t be fair to subtract a star because of this, but needs to be said…people are coming from other countries to visit with a tight agenda and then this… If you don’t wanna wait - just go to the Carnaby location not too far away (life hack) But yeah, the food was delicious. Especially the signature Black Daal, and Chicken Ruby highly recommended. Also take the garlic naan.

Loved the food here! Price was a bit higher than usual but totally worth it 🙌🏽 Loved each dish and how innovative they are with blending certain flavours together. Love it all!! Goes so well together. Would definitely return the next time I'm in London

We had Sunday lunch at Dishoom. The food was really good, however there was a long wait time for some of the items due to how packed the restaurant was (note it was a bank holiday weekend). The crowd seemed to overwhelm the staff (maybe that should have tried to scale the waiters based on expected customers). Apart from these small nits, I really enjoyed the food and would definitely go back.

Oh my, what lovely food in a convivial setting. Just order anything and I'm sure it will be tasty. Beautifully executed Indian food with good ingredients. Good portions too. I'd mention the okra fries, because we ordered a 2nd serve lol.. The service is on point and friendly. The place is massive, but you don't feel like you'd be neglected. I also love the social good they're doing with giving out free meals in India and England. Highly recommended!!

On the pricier end for Indian food, portions a bit small for what you pay. Quality and flavour is pretty good. I found the lamb a bit dry though. Their rotis and naans are excellent. They also have a great selection of vegetarian options, and street food classics.

Great food and suitable for large groups to share and try more dishes. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere was awesome, which was a bit unexpected for a chained restaurant. Loved all the curry dishes - we ordered some extra naans to dip every bit of them. Also recommend the chili toast.

Had to wait one hour for a table, so I expected the food to bang It did not It was okay, like any other fusion restaurant. The company of friends was good, the staff was very accommodating and we had a great time hanging out. Best dish for me was the black beans

We were in que half hour which is a testament to how popular this place is. There was a lovely staff member handing out free chai teas to people as we waited Restaurant itself is beautiful and atmosphere was buzzing. I loved the lamb chops and the fish special was stunning. The okra fries were delicious as well. We really weren't fans of the black daal however, it was grainy and not that nice a flavour. Desserts were stunning especially the choc pudding with ice cream. Food and drinks were quite pricy but expected for central London. The service was absolutely fantastic and our waitress was brilliant and should be praised. Would recommend this place overall.

Fantastic solo first time lunch at Dishoom. Sat outside. Service and food was so good. All the dishes burst with flavor - the delicious creamy dreamy mushrooms made a wonderful contrast with the more feisty fresh spicy flavors of the other dishes. Please open a branch in Northern California!!!!
