I have been visiting this establishment for about 15 years now and I have moved outside of London but still make the drive to secure their world famous Oxtail and Rice and peas.
The staff are always welcoming and provide good Caribbean Service. They represent very well.
Really nice lady served me, servings are massive. I’m an Aussie on a quest to find the best…. In london. Pepper and spice was recommended to me and I reckon it is up there as being one of a short list of places that I would say are the best in london. The coleslaw is the best I’ve ever had! Huge portion of curry goat. Delicious.

One of the better chain ,take a way,with most item in stock, open late ,good portion sizes,
Food is very good but the queue...the queue...it's indescribable. It's an experience. Makes the food taste nicer because you've nearly died of hunger before getting your food. Sort out queuing system or introduce order and collect and you'll have 5 stars.
If you want good Jamaican food, Peppers & Spice is a good place to go. You'll find an excellent range of food from patties, festivals, soups, juices to traditional main meals like Jerk Chicken, Rice n Peas, Oxtail etc accompanied by various complimentary pasta/salads.
My main issue (including my friends) is they don't use basmati rice apart from twice that I've bought food (only Jamaican restaurant that doesn't that I know of) & stop the rosemary use (it's totally changed the taste).
Prices are reasonable if compared with similar Jamaican restaurants. Give them a try.

For those in the area Peppers and spice needs no introduction.. the best.. (that I've had) most other places seem to be shy with their flavour profiles in food but here you get the full mouth watering feeling of being in the Caribbean. A must try.
