A welcome break from a cold Covent Garden full of Christmas shoppers. Warm, comfortable surroundings, engaged staff, speedy service, delicious food and a great cup of coffee. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing, one of my favourite my places to have breakfast or brunch in London. Staff was great, couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend it!
Great place for breakfast...and pastries. Everything is fresh and they make a huge cup of coffee, one of the best I've had at a London 'cafe'.
Fab find in Covent Garden , eaten here 3 times in 2 days, breakfasts are amazing . Many vegan options🥑🥕☕️🍞🥖🥐 deliciousness 😀😋😍 . Attentive staff, helpful recommendations
We enjoyed the venue, the service and the quality of the food we ordered. We sat outside and found this environment to our liking and allowed us to people watch as an added bonus. Service was prompt and the sandwiches we ordered were fresh and very tasty
We enjoyed the cake and the tea/coffee we had. The atmosphere was good and the staff were very helpful.
Lovely food and great service. Just popped in for breakfast as we were passing and we weren't disappointed. I had the baked eggs with chorizo which were amazing.
Popped in for brunch. Food was delicious. Staff friendly & service good. All organic, high quality food. Scrambled eggs were delicious. Will definitely return.
Le Pain quotiden pe maine red velvet jar khaya tha jo ki mujhe bhot hi pasand aaya or mai ek apni bhen ke liye bhi leke gya usko bhi bhot jada pasand aaya. yaha ke maine or bhi chize try kari thi or sab acha laga
Such a great brunch! Loads of options and the food ia absolutely delicious. The jam offer is also very good and the bread is amazing. The staff is friendly and location wise this one is great, however it can get very busy.

During my vacation to London, my friends recommend to me this place and really was great breakfast experience
the food Bakery was Delicious and crispy as I like
the service and the ambiance great
Amazing place to grab breakfast! Freshly baked goodies enough for the sweet tooth. amongst the hustle and bustle of the main market, it great to spend your afternoon sitting outside with a cold cider and good company! Love this place
I love le pain quotidien, it is always a good choice for having a late lunch. The food is always fresh and delicious, the coffees and drinks are good. The staff were professional but they can be more friendly.
I LOVE Le Pain Quotidien. It's my fav little cafe in London. The atmosphere is nice, and the food is delicious & healthy. I also especially like their signature hot Belgian chocolate drink which is the best I have had in London.
Simple good food, nothing to rave about... the location of this particular branch is nice because there's always someone performing nearby. We had the cheese and grilled veggie tartine. It wasn't bad but we would probably try another dish next time we visit..
Snacks were very good. Fresh and tasty. So was the coffee. Service was excellent with the staff helping us choose our food. Small tip. Ask ur snacks to be heated/warmed before consuming.
Lovely organic place in Covent Garden. Really nice organic food brunch and very fast! Loved it! A lot of great options to choose from but the waffles were the best!
Great location at Covent Garden, you literally will have a lunch/dinner with a view. The staff it's so nice and the food is absolutely delicious. Since the beginning til the dessert (mince pie in my case - I just loved it)!
Went there for a late lunch today. I wasn't served straightaway even thought the waiter saw me. I chose a sit and sat down. Got the menu after a long time. The first floor was ran by one waiter only so I guess that was why the service was slow, I wasn't in a rush so I took my time too. Ordered a large green tea matcha latte and it surprised me that the cup actually look or might be a bowl. Chicken tartines was good just some part of the bread were too hard. And also ordered a guacamole, it was too lemonie so me so I didn't really enjoy it. What also didn't make sense was that my food came first before my drink... hrmm. And funny thing after my meal, the waiter asked if I want coffee or dessert and I said yeah, can I have the dessert menu please, I actually wanted to try the jar red velvet and I waited for a few minutes. The waiter came with my receipt. Which I wasn't bother anymore. So I just paid and left. So I would definitely go back again to try more new menu. This meal costs me £22.60! 😊
The location is fabulous, such a lovely place for lunch.
Had the detox salad which was absolutely gigantic and super healthy.
The menu is really cool as well with a lot of tempting things.
I had no idea this chain was so healthy! I enjoyed the meal I had so much here that I returned to the King's Cross location within two weeks. Although that experience was much different, I still would be excited to eat at Le Pain Quotidien again. My blog, Sunny in London has the full review. I highly recommend the Quinoa. There are many options that are gluten free on their menu too. This was also pleasantly surprising.
I usually come here when there's no where to sit in Covent garden. Some of their food is very nice. Some of it is average. They have a lot of healthy options and that's a plus. Not too pricey either.
Went there for lunch, cozy place gave me a feeling of a French bakery.the food was great, ordered an omelette with salad, the dish was good but the salad was great.only problem was that service was very poor, seemed they were being forced to serve.sorry unimpressed with that
Big fan of Le Pain Quotidien. They have a number of outlets throughout London but the one in Covent Garden is my favourite. It allows one to sit outside(there is a lot of space; though it is almost always full) and enjoy Covent Garden in its entirety. Good place to catch up with friends. The hot chocolate, the freshly baked scones, and the bread basket make for an enjoyable breakfast.
Cute little restaurant that serves amazing bread. We had the avocado toast(very good) with a side of grilled potato with aioli sauce(amazing specially the sauce) and the organic bread basket that comes with spreads. The bread is really good the basket comes with 5 kinds of bread all fresh and yummy with an amazing choice of spreads, from chocolate to jam to caramel and so on.. Definitely recommend it for a nice little lunch stop
I strongly advice you to be here early in the morning to have breakfast! Just local people and tourists who search for best tastes. And silent and peacefull in the morning especially in the cold winter time.
I didn't expect a great service or good food from this branch, as the reviews aren't the best and the location of Covent Garden makes it an hideout for tourists. I was wrong, apart from the number of rude, loud turists sitting a bit too close to our table, the service has been impressive, the foods and drinks delicious and the presentation beautiful. Hot chocolate and scone with cream and strawberry jam means a show and taste that is worth going back for, while the tea and guacamole, please don't judge, were delicious and simple. Definitely a good place to stop by if in the area without paying a fortune.
A cosy little patisserie for a quick breakfast, great quick service. There is really not much more to say...................................
I know that this place is a little expensive still i come here at least once a week and spend way too much time as the location is perfect and i am hooked to it. They have a HUGE outdoor patio in the direct sunlight (or under an umbrella if you prefer) and FREE WIFI!!! Well there is more to it then just a pretty ambience. Their menu consists of filter coffee by the pot and big portions of delicious salads, great bread and the best cheesecake i ever tried my hands on!
This is a really amazing restaurant. It is quite a massive one and the atmosphere is always lovely. It has the perfect setting to host any kind of meeting whether it would be a romantic date or just a get together. The fact that it remains opens till late night also adds to its advantage. The staff is always very polite and the the service is also quick. Everything is prepared very well and all the dishes that I have tried here are equally good. I strongly recommend you to visit this restaurant.
Its a delight to the senses visiting this place everytime. Huge, spacious place generally not crowded. Clean and well-maintained, even the wash rooms are well organised and kept. Excellent staff. A cute, gorgeous floppy hair French guy with a French accent. Feels great to be there. Just want to visit the place again and again.
The variety of food options this place has to offer is extensive. It ranges from breakfast, bakery, hot food to an array of teas and coffees. There is also an elaborate full wine menu. The food is served fresh and is of stupendous quality. If you are a tea or coffee lover, the pots of tea as well as the coffee is great. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly and welcoming. This place is located in one the best locations in town and also provides with a great ambience.
This chain will always serve you with quality food , the food is always delicious and full of flavors. The portions are not that filling but it comes in a reasonable price so you can order more.
I had smoked salmon with roasted beet and it was delicious maybe because of the dressing.
The salad is not something extraordinary but it is pretty basic.
Overall this is a great place to go and have good food as well as good time.
Le Pain Quotidein is a very cosy place. They pride themselves on using organic ingredients. So if you enjoy eating healthy or organic then definitely give this place a try. There is a large seating area available inside and there is also seating outside. The food is always nice here and I regularly get the Granola and Yoghurt Parfair, although it can be a little tricky to eat- they should consider serving it in a bowl. However, it is very tasty and filling. Everything is presented nicely.
Service has been slow the past few times I have been here. With staff coming up to me and asking me to remind them what I ordered, 5 minutes after ordering. Food has also taken long to arrive at times, even when it hasn’t been too busy.
I only thing I dislike about this place is the small and closely places tables. It feels very tight and cramped.
If you are not really bothered about whether your food is organic, you should still give this place a go as the food is of good quality and tastes delicious.
Charming cozy restaurant with perfect desserts, ideal waffles and hand-warming cups. Belgian hot chocolate is truly adorable.
However, service quite slow, I've spent 10 min waiting till waiter will provide me a table (there were a lot available)
Le Pain Quotidien is a great place to have a Parisian experience. It serves a wide range of fresh organic breads assorted with the sweetest jams, preserves and chocolate spreads. Their place is spacious and the interior is cozy. The communal table in the centre of the restaurant is great for larger groups of people spending the afternoon with a large variety of great wines.
Healthy, fresh, creative are the 3 words I would use to describe La Pain Quotidien. Whether it is stopping by for a delicious French pastry or it is visiting for lunch, La Pain Quotidien always satisfies my wishes. On my most recent visit, the mixed juice and the detox salad were both very tasty, filled with many healthy ingredients, and overall combined for a pleasing lunch. The waiter was very polite, friendly, and improved my overall experience. The chefs are willing to adjust and accommodate changes as I had wanted sun dried tomatoes and extra avocados in my salad, which they were more than happy to do without any additional charges. In terms of prices, La Pain Quotidien is reasonable at around £10 per person. Take my word for it, whatever you pay at this restaurant is absolutely worth it as the quality and freshness you will get cannot be found elsewhere!
Le Pain Quotidien is a welcoming bakery chain with a similar vibe throughout all its locations. Wooden furniture makes it a casual and easy cafe to visit, whether its for a coffee or a salad even.
Coffee comes in quite large portions, which is always a plus point! Had a chocolate croissant which was super soft and fresh to go with my coffee.
Friendly staff and a positive atmosphere, whether you sit outside or inside. Recommend it!

The charming world famous Le Pain Quotidien is one of my favorite bakery environments. I can`t help to get in one every time that I can and never get disappointed with the service or quality of the food.
The Latte size always pleases me and they give me the best almond croissant since the Prêt-A-Manger experience.
Also, the wooden decor makes me feel welcome and comfortable, specially in a rainy cold day.
Having dinner there is also a great deal. They have the best selections of soups in my opinion and always manage to delivering it warm and tasty.
The Covent Garden unit is charming as the Le Pain and area standards demand and never disappoint in terms of service. The waiters are always ready to take your order and make good effort in attending your demands, besides not taking too long to deliver your food and, as lonf as my experience goes, no mistakes were made.
It`s the best place to get a coffee with friends after a long Covent Garden walk in the afternoon.
A very pleasant place for a weekend brunch. The first thing I tried at Le Pain Quotidien was their Hot Croissant with Gruyère Cheese and a cup of tea for breakfast. The portion was light and perfect for breakfast! I definitely recommend it.
Great location in the middle of buzzing Covent Garden with plenty of space indoors spread over several floors and outdoors on the terrace, which makes an excellent people watching spot. The almond croissant and coffee were excellent though slightly on an expensive side (even taking location under consideration 9 pounds seemed bit much). For that price I’d also like to see a bit more personal and attentive service which seemed rushed and more self consumed instead.
Really enjoyed my recent visit at Le Pain Quotidien where I found out about their brunch offerings including everything you see in the picture (food, cold & hot drinks) for less than £20 per person. The quality was nice, the atmosphere good and I had nice chats with the staff which always adds to the place. I will surely go back!
Went here on Saturday for brunch! Amazing value at £13 and very good quality food! The pain au chocolat was warm and melt in the mouth! It also included a hot drink (great oat milk latte) peach bellini, sour dough bread, baguette, salmon, granola and yoghurt and a boiled egg. Can pay extra for scrambled. The only downside was that the service was quite slow. Lovely atmosphere outside in the square of covent garden, in the hustle and bustle.
Delicious brunch, lovely and fast service and really great value for money ( £15 per person) 😊

Went on a week day and managed to get a seat. The scrambled eggs were delicious. Also enjoyed the Caesar salad.
Lovely rustic Café perfectly located at the market, offering a large terrace on the street, small ground floor room and 2 other rooms on the 1st floor. The place is actually massive but doesn't look like from the outside.
We only stopped by for a coffee and drinks to refresh ourselves after a theatre show before moving on with our plans, but we received a welcoming service. I should also point out that all the dishes we saw being served to the surrounding tables looked delicious and everyone seemed satisfied. We definitely enjoyed our coffees.
Lavatories were clean and in good working order.
Shame that there's no music it would add to the atmosphere.
Earlier I went to have brunch/lunch at Le Pain Quotidien whilst I was out in Covent Garden, and really enjoyed eating here for the first time!
I had the Vegetarian Brunch, which included a Baguette, Croissant, 2 Slices of brown bread, Roast Tomatoes, Roast Mushrooms, Sliced Cucumbers, Soft boiled egg, Yogurt, Flat White and an Orange Juice. For £13, it was absolutely worth it and especially to sit outside in a very nice location.
The staff were extremely hardworking, helpful and polite.
Excellent cafe in Covent Garden, we sat inside for breakfast. This place gets busy so get here early. Breakfast served until 11.45. Staff were good and the service great. Would come again, Food was hot. Toast was a little hard for our liking.
Me and my partner visited here whilst on a trip to London over the weekend!
We enjoyed the food and service was extremely good - considering they were rushed off their feet!
I would definitely come back for a quick affordable meal if ever I’m in the city and need a quick bite!
Had a wonderful lunch with my parents visiting from Canada at Le Pain Quotidien. The presentation of the food was amazing !!! Very impressed. It tasted great. Healthy selection of many sandwiches, wife had the soup but did state it was a little bland. Overall a great experience and worth the visit :). I loved the smoked salmon avocado dish!
Great bakery and bar in covent garden.
Slightly pricy but most places are pricy in the market.
Great iced tea with peach taste.
There are plenty of of drinks and food.
Nice staff.
There are seats outside mainly but you can also find a seat inside.
At first I was badly seated by a lady waiter who was solid with no smile or effort to serve, maybe not in the in mood. Then for some unknown reason she was replaced by a really sweet and welcoming lady waiter. The food is really fresh and delicious specially the baked eggs and vegetables and the side of baked mushrooms. She suggested I try the Almond croissant which was exceptional. I really enjoyed it and would really recommend this place. Thank you!
Tasty rustic French food. We came for breakfast and really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the world go by. The food was tasty and filling. Especially the chorizo beans.
The outside sitting experience was lovely, looking out to the bustle of Covent Garden. Food serving was excellent and the taste as well. Loved the Paris 75 cocktail...a must try!
Great place in the heart of Covent Garden to people watch and have something to eat at the same time. It's busy but worth waiting for a seat outdoors in warmer weather to feel part of the bustling atmosphere.
A good few vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Ideal place pre the Royal Opera House or other local attractions
