We loved the food here. Although the tables are a little small to fit in the big bowls, the food is amazing. We tried Korean Fried Chicken, Chicken Ramen and Mixed Seafood Bibimbap. We loved it all.

This place is great. The staffs are very nice and quick. We ordered seafood pancake, kimchi, korean fried chicken, ramyeon, and bimbimbap. The star is the ramyeon, I think it is the best! A bit disappointed with the fried chicken, the batter is soggy not crispy at all. Bimbimbap is okay but I have eaten better, I would love to have a lot of gochujang sauce in there. Seafood pancake also not exceptional. But I will definitely go back for the ramyeon!!

Bibimbap in Soho is famous for the Korean dish of the same name. This place has a no-frills approach to the décor and overall ambience but that is because the focus is on the food (where it excels). For those not familiar, Bibimbap literally means “mixed rice” and it is rice topped with mixed vegetables, sauces and then you have options of egg, tofu or meat. The dish is served in a hot stone bowl which cooks the ingredients as you stir them up creating a sizzling delicacy.

For my very last office lunch in Soho, the guys and I headed around the corner to Bibimbap. As you can imagine, it’s a focus on the the signature Korean hot stone bowls of the same name. Bibimbap literally translates to “mixed rice’ and the dish was conceived as a means to use up leftovers. These days it’s a bespoke experience and at Bibimbap you can choose what kind of rice, topping and if you want an egg as well. It’s at a neat price, most of the options would end up under £10. I also got a side of the Korean fried chicken which I quite enjoyed, I did find the pieces not so meaty though. It was coating heavy but a nice coating at that. It’s a generous size and the beef I had on mine was tasty. There’s a diverse mix of vegetables for mixing in and I enjoyed the bibimbap like I always do. The high temperature of the bowl keeps it toasty for a good while. This almost encourages you to take your time and savour every bite. You do need to mix in some soy or Gochujang as it not that flavourful without it.

Arrived 5 minutes before they stopped receiving last order. But as recommended, the bool-go-gi / bulgogi bibimbap was very tasty. Tried it with brown rice, completed with fried egg and topped with chili sauce (forgot the name of the other sauce inside the yellow tube). A bit rushing while eating (because they were going to close) (and the food was hot) but it didn't matter because the food was pleasing.

A vibrant Korean restaurant at the heart of Soho. Pricing is surprisingly reasonable. Had Beef Bul-gogi Bibimbap, came very quickly and still hot in a stone bowl. Tasted nostalgic, not unlike what could be found in Seoul. Do use gochujang (spicy bean sauce) and mix veggies, beef and rice thoroughly (after taking pics and) before eating.

Spaces are limited so expect to queue, especially on weekend, even past lunch time. Decor is youthful with K-Pop posters pasted on the wall--again, just like how it was at trendy Seoul eateries.

It was probably the first time I was introduced to Korean food.

I went there with colleagues. I wasn't sure what to get but with some help, decided to go for Dol Sot. It was basically rice served in a hot pot, topped with an fried egg and veggies.

The food was an absolute delight. Have been enjoying Korean cuisine since then.

Bibimbap serves good, inexpensive Korean food right in the heart of Soho, at Greek Street.... I ate at this restaurant some time ago, on the recommendation of a friend, having never tried Korean food before.
The service is quick and do try the kimchi pancakes.

This is one of my favourite places in Soho. It’s always a delight eating here and can see why there are always long queues. The menu is simple but the food is done so well. I have only tried the vegetarian dishes but find them all fantastic I can never say no to their Kimchi pancakes too. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants any authentic taste to Korean food.

Loved the sizzling hot bibimbap! I had the brown rice Dol Sot bibimpbap and it was delicious. Soho branch is cute and vibrant and was pretty packed despite it being Tuesday lunchtime. Definitely worth visiting 😋

Came here for a girls night dinner, really loved the spicy pork bibimbap served with a raw egg! The portion size was quite good, definitely more than enough to keep you full. Service was great, we wanted to split the bill paying seperately and they were more than happy to help us do that!

Lovely food, reasonable prices, must try the kimchi, decent vegetarian spread :-) ...
Place gets crowded and doesn't take reservations hence get there early or be prepared to wait 15 min or so. But I d still wait cos the food is so worth it.

Korean food is the new trend this season apparently, forget burgers, it's all about grilling at the table and raw food in hot stone bowls!. I went to Bibimbap in Soho to try out the national dish of bibimbap and a few extra bits - it'd be rude not to. Raw beef, raw egg, vegetables and rice in a hot stone bowl. After quite a bit of mixing my beef was cooked and it was delicious. It's a bit of a novelty for non-Koreans I guess, as you sort of end up cooking it yourself (CIY instead of DIY) in a way.

I had this on my list of restaurants for a while. When out on a rainy day in Soho we decided to give this place a try. It's a tiny place on Greek street that is more like a cafe than a restaurant. It's an ideal place to catch up with friends over a steaming hot meal on a rainy day.

We all chose the Bibimbap with different kinds of meat. Bibimbap simply means mixed rice. They provide you with steps to choose the various elements and then assemble the meal accordingly. You can choose between Brown Rice or White Rice, then the type of meat (spicy chicken, spicy pork, bulgogi beef, etc.), choice between a raw egg or fried egg and finally if you want it in a hot stone bowl or a regular bowl. Each of us chose a different variation however we all went for the hot stone bowl. As a part of this meal they also provide pickled cabbages and mushroom. I went for the chilly chicken option and was not disappointed. It was packed with flavour and delicious. The only thing missing was that the spice level was medium and I was hoping it to be spicier. But they provide you with chilli sauce and chilli powder to spice it up to your liking.

Perhaps ( my understanding through some other reviews I read on Zomato) the food is not authentic and mainly adapted to the western palate, I would still go back there for a meal. I would say the meal was an interesting one.

I’m attempting to eat around the world without leaving London and this week I had Korean food at Bibimbap. Bibimbap is small chain of three restaurants that are scattered across the capital; two in the Soho area and one in the City. We went to the one in Soho which is spread out across two floors. It’s a very casual restaurant with a food bar upstairs and a larger seating area in the basement.

Delicious food served in piping hot bowls. The variates of flavour from the affordable dishes encourage you to take your time and appreciate every bite.
I recommend the iced lemon tea which is refreshing in these summer months.
Awesome staff who are more than happy to help and will chase You down the street if you Leave anything behind, as I did.

Cute Korean restaurant in Soho – great food, decent portions and
friendly service. All dishes are served in a hot stone bowl so they remain hot
(which is good for slow eaters like me!). 3 of us went and we had the tofu, pork
and beef - all about £7 each. You can add an egg on to the top as well! We also
had the pork and vegetable dumplings which were delicious! would recommend.

Could do with some free traditional side dishes like most Korean restaurants provide, but their Dolsot Bibimbap never disappoints. Highly recommend trying it with their nutty brown rice - yum!

Mind the bowl... It's bloody hot. Well this was a fun meal out. Quick, simple and tasty. Rice, combined with a variety of fresh veg and meat - depending on the variation of the dish you chose - with an optional fried egg on top.

Bibimbap is, according to the menu, a dish which was served in the royal court. A piping hot stone bowl into which the ingredients are arranged. As you mix it all up, the stone bowl cooks through the dish. But be sure to keep mixing as it doesn't stop cooking until you've finished the lot.

The menu has other choices but why would you come here if you weren't going to try the signature dish.

An inexpensive, quick and satisfying meal. Perfect way to start a night out in town.

First time in my life I tried Korean food, this place isn't a famous restaurant but it's enough to have a nice food experience and discover new savours. I ordered Bi bim bap soya tofu with mixed vegetables and extra eggs on top which was delicious hot but also cold.

Don't expect character, or any kind of real dining experience, but if your hungry and in a hurry, Bi Bim Bap isn't as silly a choice as it is a name for a restaurant. Just make sure you order more than you think you should, and don't touch the bowl, because my finger is still blistered.

Try it at least once to get a look at the kitschy polaroids adorning the walls, and to eat out of the sizzling stone bowls. Oh, and the miso sauce they leave on every table is TO DIE FOR. I haven’t found another place which so liberally lets you at this fantastic stuff.

I seem to favour this place for its relaxed chill out environment, it feels very home like and I love the idea of having poloriads of the customers all over the walls. I had this craving for Bibimbap, jap chae and Kimchi pancakes a few weeks back.

Eating out of a hot stove really makes anyone sweat, Beef Bool-Go-Gi is my absolute favourite marinated in pear sauce with thin slices of beef and an array of colourful mix vegetables. The fun part and way to eat a Bibimbap is to mix all the ingredients together along with the fermented soya paste and chilli sauce for flavouring

Bi Bim Bap is a bright, colourful and fun Korean restaurant in Soho that specialises in, as the name suggests Bi Bim Bap. Bi Bim Bap (mixed rice), according to Wikipedia is the national dish of Korea. As all great dishes of the world, it is a simple plate of food. Basically it’s a bowl of rice topped with vegetables, meat and a red chilli paste and curiously either a raw or fried egg are added on top to finish it off.

Bibimbap means mixed rice in Korean. It is a bowl of warm white rice often served with vegetables, sliced meat and a raw or fried egg. It is also the name of a relatively new Korean restaurant in Charlotte St (with another branch in Soho) that specialises in... bibimbap, surprise surprise.

We ordered kimchi pancake and vegetable dumplings to start. I loved both; they tasted fresh and neither were greasy or stodgy. Both came with simple yet effective variations on soy sauce.

We then all had bibimbap(s?); I had chilli chicken, two of my friends had beef bool-go-gi (specially marinated beef strips) and one had fillet beef (strips of raw seasoned beef fillet that cooks once mixed in the stone bowl). The last is clearly the most adventurous as she also had a raw egg whilst the rest of us opted for fried. I really enjoyed my bibimbap, as did my friends. It was extremely tasty and the perfect level of spicy for me. The one recommendation I would make is to use more vegetables or chicken and less rice and I was full up very quickly. 

We were also provided with two sauces; chilli and miso. Interestingly, the miso sauce came in a yellow mustard dispenser and the chilli sauce in a red ketchup dispenser. Whilst both sauces were great additions to the dishes, their packaging was quite confusing since I, like many, expect to get ketchup out of a red plastic dispenser and mustard out a yellow one. Whilst it didn't diminish the enjoyment derived from the food, perhaps they could invest in some alternative packaging.

Another little shocker; no desserts! Not even a mini Korean chocolate pancake to satisfy those with a sweet tooth. 

We indulged in a bottle of wine between the four of us (after stressful days at work) - this set us back £22.50; had we stuck with water the meal would have been just over £10 which is great value given that we all left feeling full. Also if you are in a rush, this is the place to go as service was great and our food came extremely quickly. There is also a refreshingly casual atmosphere.

In conclusion, there are a few improvements Bibimbap could make, but I would definitely recommend it for a simple, cheap, quick and filling restaurant.

Want a cheap, quick and delicious Korean bite to eat in Central? Head yourself to one of two Central London ‘Bibimbap’ restaurants. Greek Street in Soho and Charlotte Street, parallel to Goodge Street. My lady friend and I visited the Soho alternative. I found the restaurant through browsing the ‘Time Out’s Top 100 must east London Restaurants’. The list, broken into four sections: ‘Affordable, Mid-range, Expensive and Blow Out’ offered a hotchpotch of restaurants for the poor, rich and super rich. I browsed through each restaurant in ‘affordable’ to find the ultimate choice and decided on this popular and vibrant looking spot. Reviews consistently praised Bimbimbap and the menu ticked the boxes.

Korean food is hot right now in London; South Korean that is. Restaurants are popping up left, right and centre and people are really digging it. Healthy, fresh and full of tantalising flavours. If you are a Korean virgin – get involved in the current food climate and entertain your palate. Bimbimbap was my second Korean meal, the first being Gogi in Little Venice. On both separate occasions the super smiley staff were a perfect collaboration with the food. Smiley and genuine service can make or break a restaurant. A recent Sunday Roast in Stoke Newington was a disaster in terms of rock hard broccoli and roasties that had been warmed up in an igloo. However, the manager turned the situation around so much so that I would return offering the venue a second chance.

With conversation in full flow, the 20-minute queue mattered little. I recommend heading there as early as possible in the evening as it has become a hot spot for quick and cheap dinning. Bimbimbap is Korea’s national dish. A rice based dish served in a sizzling hot stone bowl with vegetables, spices, pastes and often beef or seafood and a raw egg. The idea is that apart from the rice, the ingredients are raw and are cooked by the eater at the table. Creating an outstanding fusion rather than a potential scrambled commotion.

At the approval of our server, I ordered a medley of dishes. Pork and Vegetable Mandoo to start, (dumplings) delicately cooked (£4.45). Not the ‘gloopy top-of-the-mouth’ sticking dumplings often received in oriental restaurants. For main, we shared mixed-seafood Bimbimbap – with the raw egg and raw fish (£8.95) and Chicken Ramen – chicken in a spicy noodle soup (£6.45). I recommend choosing the Bimbimbap. It was a delight to eat. I frantically stirred in the ingredients before the sizzling ceased, devoured and had no complaints.

For two people and a couple of beers thrown in, the bill came to £30. My dinner was true value for money. The experience was faultless, the food was quality and the price was minimal. Check it out, you won’t look back in anger.

Having never tried Korean food before, I was a bit apprehensive about it but I throughly enjoyed it.

The food was amazing! Full of delicious different flavours. I loved the fact the food was served in a hot stone bowl, that kept your food warm even when you got to the bottom.

The staff were very friendly and the service was great. I also liked the fact that you could get a raw or cooked egg on top of your meal and some dishes the raw meet cooks itself in the hot stone bowl.

I will definitely be returning!

Having only tried Korean food once before, I was really keen on trying Bibimbap and I was very happy with it! They have a large selection of Bibimbap meat and vegetarian dishes, to which you can add a fried or raw egg. I had the Beef bibimbap, which was very nice and satisfying! The quantities are very generous and the prices very reasonable! Service was quick, and the waiters were welcoming, and happy to recommend the most popular dishes on the menu for people like me who are still somewhat unfamiliar with the cuisine. We also tried the Chive dumplings, which I think I even preferred to my actual bibimbap dish.

I think this is a great restaurant to take someone who is trying Korean perhaps for the first time? Although I think it is also great for someone who loves Korean food.

I think their decoration was very cute.
Plus they have more Kpop stars posters downstairs!

The service was really friendly (sooo friendly).

I ordered the vegetarian Bibimbap and tbh I don't alway like vegetables, but this time I did.

Price was very reasonable.

Only thing was that the food was way too hot at the start and me & my friend wanted to not burn ourself trying to eat it for a while or this would get 5 stars :)

Speaking as a bonafide half-Korean, this is my go-to place for introducing my woefully uninitiated friends to the spicy, sizzling joy that is bibimbap. The spicy pork version is the standout for me because they just seem to have nailed it texture-wise (always tender, never chewy) - but the chicken and beef bulgogi versions are also very respectable. One piece of advice: don't skimp on the sauces! The gochujang (chili sauce) is really key here. If I have one gripe, it's that the vegetables are occasionally just a tad too wet and prevent the rice from getting crispy in the stone bowl, but at the end of the day I always walk away from here full of K-town pride (and also kimchi.)

Bi Bim Bap is a very popular little restaurant tucked away on Soho’s Greek Street. Specialising in healthy, fresh and affordable dishes Bi Bim Bap doesn’t aim to be swanky, instead the décor is bright yet simple, with tons Polaroid snaps of happy diners covering the majority of the wall space.
Drawing in a constant flow of the young, hip crowd, this restaurant is perfectly suited to a quick meal rather than a three course occasion.

Would I Want Seconds?

Bi Bim Bap’s speciality are stone-bowl rice dishes of the same name, which typically consist of cooked rice mixed with oriental vegetables and topped with raw meats if requested. Bi Bim Bap serve these in ten different varieties within which the main ingredient varies from chilli chicken, spicy pork or seafood. There is also a extensive choice for vegetarians including mushrooms, tofu, brown rice and even ginseng and gingko.

The main courses are served up in large piping hot stone bowl which actual sizzle the whole way through the meal. Each stone-bowl offers an extremely large serving, which present a feast to eyes with its vibrant colours from the many vegetables. Be sure to add the impressive miso and chilli sauces to your dish as these add an additional depth to the flavour.
There is also a good number of starters on offer including Kimchi Pancake and Chives Mandoo which are also definitely worth a try. 

Could I Afford Seconds?

Yes, although you wouldn’t need to order any judging by the size of the main courses. Bi Bim Bap’s aim is to be affordable with the main course costing between £6.95 and £8.45 depending on the choice of ingredients.

Starters range from £4.45 to £5.25. There is also a good range of drinks to choose from at reasonable prices, including Korean beers.

Overall:

The main attraction with Bi Bam Bap is the authentic, affordable and delicious Korean food. Compared to many of the swankier Korean restaurants in London, the food here is definitely better and tastier.
This restaurant is already very popular with queues forming out the door even before it opens and deservedly so.

Looking for a quick, cheap meal in Soho? This is the place, I'm no expert on bibimbap (a traditional Korean dish) as I've only had it here but it was delicious. Basically you get a very hot stone bowl filled with rice, pickled veg & your choice of protein. They crack a raw egg on top which as you mix the bowl cooks in the hot bowl and then add sauces to flavour as desired. Delicious, healthy, cheap & fun!

Let’s be honest it’s not cheap but at least it tastes good right? The portion though…. I had to go for another meal after the dinner. I’ll just leave it at that. You be the judge maybe I’m just a big eater? The staffs were very friendly but could hardly recommend anything so we ended up ordering what sounds good instead. Plating is awesome. Portion is small. Tastes is great. Came out of the restaurant with hole in the pocket. But will I return? Yes perhaps to try their seasonal dishes hence I have no clue what are the dishes anyway. Dessert was great !! Worth giving it a try in Soho!

I have been eating at 10 Greek Street for the last 10 years and have always loved it. The menu is small, the food is freshly cooked and seasonal and the wines are great. So when I had a poor meal a couple of months ago I reluctantly emailed the restaurant. The manager, Adam cared enough to offer me a free meal as he remembered me as a regular customer. Anyway I returned to the restaurant last night and the food was excellent. So I will be a regular customer once again and I will be recommending the restaurant to friends and colleagues.

We ate here last night at the bar after it being recommended by a somm from the East. Hands down best food, wine and service we’ve had in London. Trifecta!! We’re wondering how we become permanently attached to their seats. Just excellent. See you guys again soon. Also 75-80% menu is gluten free and they have a separate fryer so great for coeliacs.

Intimate space for fresh and inventive food. I love my experience and how good everything was! It’s a rotating menu so I can’t wait to come again. I had the chilli garlic, truffle gnudi and crumbled lamb. All was amazing and good portions

The chefs shared their buttermilk sorbet recipe with me… in confidence of course.. I had their sorbet a few weeks ago, tried web recipes but no good results.. I’ll try again, as it’s so nice to end a flavourful meal with a flavour neutral but delicious sorbet. The tuna carpaccio and the chalkstream trout are so delicious and the trout cooked perfectly (see pic) to bring out the flavours. It’s not overpriced, compared with many restaurants, from a short menu, I can choose fabulous dishes that suit me and my mood and hunger. They lift my spirits. CH PS beforehand I enjoyed two cocktails at Swift in Old Compton Street recommended.

We had a drink at the bar before dinner since we arrived early. The food was good. But, maybe the pizzas would have been more filling and worth the price. The fried potatoes were really good and the desserts were nice as well. Overall, it’s nice, small place with a simple menu that would be good for dates.

I have been coming here since 2019 if not earlier and never disappointed. For visit number 10+, I just returned for the first time since returning to London after fleeing Ukraine Covid. The amazing food has not changed although the menu has. I love the mix of dishes, the ever changing menu taking in seasonal produce and the latest trends. If you can get in, I highly recommend a lunch or dinner. If travelling solo (like I do most times) or with one other, there is always room at the bar/pass.

Sat by the bar for a late dinner on a Friday night. Most of the dishes we wanted from the menu was sold out however they offer other options. Staff was busy throughout the night so took some time to get their attention however overall the food and atmosphere was pretty good.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. They have a great selection of wines and the menu changes seasonally. We shared a few dishes - monkfish, pizza and gnudi - which were all amazing. The best was the chocolate torte with salted caramel and almond. Staff were really nice as well!

I love 10 Greek Street! Been there a couple times already and I'm planning on going many more. Their menu is constantly changing, providing a new experience with every visit. The food is always amazing and very special. It is definitely recommended to reserve a table as I never had success with walk ins. Sometimes it gets a bit busy and that can interfere with conversation.
