First and foremost, the sound quality was so and so, I could not figure out what the singer was saying unless I had already heard and memorized the lyrics, but for a death metal consert the volume was high and the whole place was rocking!
The bar has almost all spirits and various (not all) beers, and the bar tender was friendly; meanwhile the prices were just the same as any ordinary pub in London.
Unfortunately the bar does not serve any food and snacks, and the outside food in not allowed in, so to satisfy your hunger you'd have to go outside, eat some falafel, and come right back in.
The bathrooms were plenty and more or less clean, so no complaints there either.
Overall had a satisfying experience and looking forward to attend another gig🤘🤘
One of my favourite venues for music. Great place. Average London pub prices for booze which is actually good for a music venue. Waaay better than a corporate venue. Listen to Frank Turners song "Jinny Bingham's ghost" for a bit of cool history too!
Came here for Yellowcard on 26.05.23.
Amazing little venue - there’s no barrier and it’s a very intimate setting. This may be my favourite gig ever, enjoyed by just 500 people.
Definitely bring earplugs if you’re close to the stage. It gets loud and I can barely hear 12 hours later. Also prepare to get uncomfortably hot and sweaty.
Drinks are fairly pricey (2 pints of coke was just under £9), but that’s just how London is… I’d come here again.
Born of Osiris put on an absolutely amazing show and the sound was some of the best I've heard in a small venue like this.
I would add that it was incredibly hot but that kind of added to the atmosphere.
Staff was quick to serve cold water with ice for free, which was really really appreciated and definitely stopped some people from passing out.
Thanks.
I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with staff at a venue ever at Underworld. They handled a situation that arose at the event quickly and quietly, and one security even walked me out to my friends at the end to make sure I’d be alright. Everyone was incredible, kind and made my night safe and enjoyable. Upon emailing in to let them know, they responded letting me know for future events they’d also be able to accommodate my chronic pain condition. I’ve never felt more welcome and understood in a venue, and I’ve been to many. I can’t wait to come to another show here 🤘
Yours Truly concert. Excellent venue with great atmosphere. Venue is under The World's End pub in Camden Town, drinks about right for London prices. Great venue to watch a concert, stage is raised so you get a good view of the acts - no matter where you stand. Looking forward to my next experience here!
This has always been one of my favourite venues in London to see rock & metal bands. Small venue so you can get really close to the stage if you get in early. You may want to take your ear protectors, it can get loud! Friendly service at the bar. Highly recommend! 🎸🤘

Loved it. I like to come here for Friday (blackout) or Saturday(London rocks) events. If you're into that kind of music this will be great.
Do make sure to pick up a flyer from the floor to get the £7 entry.
Not good if you want to talk with someone.
Very small venue, but also very intimate - the size almost guarantees a direct connection between the performer/band. Audio is decent considering the size of the venue, but for optimal experience, I guess you would need to get in early and hold a central spot, but the sound is surprisingly good even on the sides.
Drinks are near to normal pub prices, but expect to wait in line for a little bit.
I personally love these types of places and seeing smaller/new bands. This is a gem if you are into the same type of thing.
Vader on their world 40th anniversary tour tasted as usually perfect. Again seen them here in The Underworld and again it was great metal feast.
Famous Camden Town spot for all week music gigs and club nights. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff.
We were here for a concert and it was so lovely!! The atmosphere and the sound was amazing, the staff was super kind. Only thing that was pretty disgusting were the toilets.. maybe at concerts you have to clean them more often.. Anyway I'm giving five stars because the overall experience was amazing!! :)
+: Great club.
Cool rock music.
Good choice of drinks.
Friendly staff.
Security is like undercover police, the big brother is watching you.
-: 2 airco’s on the dance floor, but one of them is malfunction and the second one was not enough for the club full people.
Came for underscores concert, incredible atmosphere, lovely staff, overall amazing venue and the concert was awesome
I very much like this small and intimate venue for live acts. I'm no expert on sound engineering, but the acoustics weren't the sharpest, to my ears. Saw Rhapsody, and VoA here recently, and both sounded a little rough (not the bands' fault); though this didn't spoil my overall enjoyment: probably my lack of understanding of the acoustic limitations of such venues.
Large and wide structural columns can spoil views of the stage, so pick your spot early. Adequate bar and seating areas.
Great venue. Small and intimate, holds about 500. It had a couple of bars and the beer was reasonably priced. I love being able to see bands without going to an enormous venue, feels like you are much more a part of the event.
Great sound for a small venue. Bar is a bit expensive.
I do like this place but is expensive limited in space and view to stage
