First and foremost, the sound quality was so and so, I could not figure out what the singer was saying unless I had already heard and memorized the lyrics, but for a death metal consert the volume was high and the whole place was rocking!
The bar has almost all spirits and various (not all) beers, and the bar tender was friendly; meanwhile the prices were just the same as any ordinary pub in London.
Unfortunately the bar does not serve any food and snacks, and the outside food in not allowed in, so to satisfy your hunger you'd have to go outside, eat some falafel, and come right back in.
The bathrooms were plenty and more or less clean, so no complaints there either.
Overall had a satisfying experience and looking forward to attend another gigš¤š¤
One of my favourite venues for music. Great place. Average London pub prices for booze which is actually good for a music venue. Waaay better than a corporate venue. Listen to Frank Turners song "Jinny Bingham's ghost" for a bit of cool history too!
Came here for Yellowcard on 26.05.23.
Amazing little venue - thereās no barrier and itās a very intimate setting. This may be my favourite gig ever, enjoyed by just 500 people.
Definitely bring earplugs if youāre close to the stage. It gets loud and I can barely hear 12 hours later. Also prepare to get uncomfortably hot and sweaty.
Drinks are fairly pricey (2 pints of coke was just under Ā£9), but thatās just how London isā¦ Iād come here again.
