First time visit today and impressed - Absolutely loved it. Fabulous light (obviously), fantastic selection of food (although I just had a coffee and a superb cinnamon roll), comfy sofa - nice atmosphere and great playlist. Really enjoyed my afternoon there. Thank you. I will definitely be back.

Superb, inventive food, lovely warm staff, cool interior - on a tucked-away industrial estate off the Lea Bridge Road. Happens to be on my commute in/home. So that could prove an issue for my waistline!

The chefs at Lighthaus are totally crushing it atm. Had an outstanding lunch there today and everything was spot on. Four large dishes that were super fresh and expertly balanced and a mind blowing dessert for a very reasonable price. There was also an amazing skate wing dish that we demolished before I could take a picture. Will be back so soon as their menu changes every week. Highly recommend!

Superb spot for lunch. There's a lovely relaxed and confident feel to this hidden gem. The food was seasonal, fresh and the menu items we tried delicious. We had most things on the menu and each dish had exciting flavour combinations and different textures. Nom nom. The wine we had, a French dry white, was exception, and good value when shared between 4. We even bought a bottle to take home. Coffee was well made and served in very unique pottery. Child friendly, yup, very. We had two young children with us, the options for them were good, and there was plenty of things for them to explore in the workshops behind. We easily spent three hours here and enjoyed every minute! Thank you Lighthaus for making us so so welcome.

I cannot reccomend Lighthaus highly enough. I've been in for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was a lovely breakfast bap with a lovely crispy hash brown. Dinner blew my mind. Delicious and beautiful plates of food and excellent hospitality. Every single plate was a hit.

Very tasty food and well prepared . Some dishes here are the same as 40Maltby street. Polite service. Good vfm . If you are sitting outside the opposite car repair / repaint stores might be too annoying with noise and smell. Would recommend

Had a lovely late lunch at the Lighhaus Cafe, post meander around the marshes. Service was bright and friendly, not hovering, but there when need. Food - interesting yet homely and satisfying. The sweetbreads like the best pop-corn chicken (but not chicken). While the pork ragu and polenta was rich, warming and wholesome, in that bottom of the belly kinda way. Great coffees and a genius desert of deep fried cherry pie rounded it off.

Delicious food and good coffee with a relaxed vibe and very friendly staff. Not cheap, but worth stopping in for a treat. The poached egg, pea and ham hock with sweetcorn fritters was beautifully cooked and very filling. Tea is not so great, I get the impression it's not really their thing.

An adorable hidden gem in Lea Bridge. Despite the seemingly normal presentation, the food is delicious! And the care to make the veggies (Swiss chard, I think) extra tasty was much appreciated.

Had a cappuccino here and it was okay but the carrot cake was amazing I’m sure the other food is great.

Loved it here. Very innocuous setting but the cafe is stunning inside. Croissant was delicious - all of the layers, as was the coffee. And the staff were super friendly. Cracking little place.

Bit pricy. But the food is delicious and well presented. Service was slow. I waited 15 mins for my latte (which tasted fantastic btw) as the guy forgot!

Have been here for lunch several times and had dinner tonight the first time. Amazing food. The best I have had in Walthamstow after living heat for 8 years. Great tasting with some Interesting flavours. Highly recommended! Think we were served by the manager. He was excellent great recommendations and made us feel very welcome.

Excellent food cooked with love and craftsmanship, and cozy atmosphere! Good selection on the menu, not overwhelming, but plenty of choice for every palette. Bonus points for outstanding and friendly service, thanks Gareth for looking after us!

A nice cafe / restaurant, slightly oddly placed in a large trading estate, nestling among car repairers and furniture makers. It is well worth the trip though - a nice, smart space with lots of seating inside and out, and great, freshly cooked and prepared food (I had a delicious butternut soup). At the weekend the 'restaurant' menu comes in (Friday night to Sunday); I need to make a return visit!

This cafe is a gem. Great coffees. Highly recommend the French onion soup. Poached eggs on sourdough toast with pesto sauce was on point.

The team at LightHaus are always welcoming and this is a shining light in the area that doesn't have many to chose from. The menu is always changing and seasonal and they always have a decent selection of larder bits to buy (coffee, eggs, milk, butter...) as well as organic wines and good craft beers. Very dog and kid friendly too. Strong recommend!
