Authentic Japanese food! Super fresh, amazing flavours and massive portion sizes. I ordered the chicken ramen, and my partner had the chicken Katy’s curry. Both was really fragrant and spicy. Really yummy. Each dish was around £10 each.

We got the chicken karage curry with rice after seeing other people got the same thing! It looked amazing 🤩 Also really like the plate they served it in 😂 Portion was big and filling and also comes with a small side of salad. Chicken was nice and crispy; very delicious! Definitely one of the best curry’s I’ve had!

Staffs were really nice. They informed that ordering okonomiyaki might take longer time to prepare. But i was okay with that so I proceeded ordering chicken okonomiyaki. Worth the wait!

I always have dessert at Yaki-Ya! Their desserts are delicious and they have generous portion size at a great price. Aastha, our go-to dessert maker makes absolutely creative and intricately designed desserts - from waffles to sundaes! She is friendly and super fast, and provides superb customer service. I can’t wait to visit again to try more of their dessert!

The ramen soup is sooooo tasty. Waiting time is a bit long like 15 minutes, but it's totally acceptable as I can feel the soup is soo fresh. This place is busy but definitely worth a try.

The katsu chicken rice is on par with others. But the rice was not. The rice was borderline soggy and that needs to be improved.

We ordered a mixed starter box, which included spring rolls, fried chicken, chicken katsu and a chicken katsu and dumplings. The mixed starter box was a good portion and certainly needs to be shared with 2-3 people. The spring rolls had an usual texture, almost like the pastry used is the same for prawn crackers. I did enjoy this unusual texture, as I’ve never had spring rolls in this way. The chicken katsu was good, without being spectacular. The dumplings were okay, but not something I would try again. The fried chicken was really enjoyable, tasty and crispy and probably my favourite out of the starter box. We also got the chicken katsu starter box, which had the chicken katsu, of course, along with some tofu, sticky rice, salad, soup and some type of gravy. As mentioned above, the chicken katsu was good. The salad, a small portion is a bit of a let down and doesn’t really add anything to the meal. The rice is really lovely as well as the soup and gravy. The tofu was good, without being spectacular. This made for a good main, which is a great portion too, however probably slightly overpriced. Overall, this is a good place to visit when you are at Bang Bang. I had a lot of mixed items so it was good to try them out. These ranged from great to not so good, however enough of the items were of a good quality for me to rate this as a 4. The portions are really good and I would like to go back to have more of the fried chicken and spring rolls. It is slightly overpriced, I feel. I was also given a voucher to try out their dessert area located just opposite, which is a nice touch.

First time and bang bang and this place stood out the most as a halal option, clean menu with good variety. Ordered the Beef Teriyaki with Rice at £14.99. The wait time was a bit long, maybe 10-15 mins but you could see why as the food was hot and fresh. The portion size was great value for money, not skimping out on the meat too. The sauce also allowed for very few dry rice spots, with very flavourful meat. Would have again for sure.
