Wonderful space, steeped in history. The staff is really lovely, happy to tell you all about the history of the Watermen and Lightermen, and very accommodating. As an event space, the venue has everything you could need, including a complete AV setup (we were using the venue to premiere a film, so that was most important to us!). All in all a beautiful and charming space.

I intended a Thames Society lunch which was outstanding. Lovely food and great Wines Brillant value for money. I would mention that the lift has been out of action for 6 months at least . It was quite upsetting to see alot of people struggling to get to the Dinning room which was at the top of the building . The stairs are very steep and circular.

We visited the open day today. My wife's ancestors were lightermen and the family has an indenture and press-gang prohibition paperwork. We were escorted into the office where the staff were both interested and delightful. The building itself is like many of the other livery companies, a step back in time to another world of beautiful pictures, model boats and lovely furniture with a fascinating story to tell.

What a fantastic place. Packed with huge amounts of history and interesting things on display I was lucky enough to be envied to a formal dinners, the food, service and attention to detail were excellent. I'm not sure if it is open to the general public but it is well worth trying to find out One small drawback is a lack of parking but there are many transport services running close by

Superb interior, good for exhibitions with several decent sized rooms but parking is obviously a problem.

Intriguing historic livery hall of what is probably London's oldest public transport organisation. I went on a tour led by a passionate and extremely knowledgeable guide who really brought the place to life. There are many displays of fascinating historic artefacts.

Biased as I am the Beadle to the company. However, this is a great historic venue, with good ambience.
