I recently had the pleasure of dining at Patri Indian Artisan Food. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, and the waitstaff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious - I had a selection of chaats, chicken tikka masala in the thali, which was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The naan bread was warm and soft, and the mango lassi was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Patri, and I will definitely be back for more in the future. Highly recommended!
Really enjoyed the dinner here as a group of 4 people sharing meals. We got the Love Nest Chaat, the Pani Puri, the Achari Malai Broccoli and a selection of Curries - my favourite was by far the Nizamuddin Railway Lamb Curry - and rice & naan. It was of course too much food, but we were able to pack up the leftovers and take them home.
The drinks list was also particularly good, especially the craft and tap beers. Would definitely return :)
I was kindly invited to a Patri Artisan to try their authentic Indian Street Food🤩🇮🇳

The food was really tasty with authentic Indian flavours 🤩The samosas filled with gajjar halwa and chocolate is a must try!! 🤩 The chicken was so tender and juicy 🤤The chilli cheese balls were a 10/10 they tasted incredible! The cocktails were amazing too 🤩 I would highly recommend the Mango Mojito🥭 The staff were very friendly! ⭐
The lively ambience makes it a perfect spot to visit for date night or with friends & family 🥰 ⭐Would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you love authentic Indian street food⭐
Unbelievably tasty food. We will be coming again. We had the boyfriend chaat, gunpowder chicken, paneer butter masala, fisherman’s black water moilee and railway lamb curry. Everything was 10/10. My favourite was the moilee and chaat. Highly recommend.
Absolutely authentic Indian street food. I would say Dine in at Patri restaurant is an experience..!! If you are looking for place to have authentic Indian street food Patri is venue. Definitely can't get wrong with it.
Fantastic balance menu including vegan and vegetarian.
Amazing drinks menu. Worth trying Nimbu soda and cocktail and mocktail too.
Went 1st time with colleagues as I heard a lot about Patri. As soon as I tried food I was really amazed than obviously It did not satisfy me enough so than in week visited 2nd time with family and some other friends who never been at Patri before. We all loved it and myself even more than 1st time.
Very friendly service. Staff really pays attention to customer. Well trained about menu and keen to explain if you have any question about menu.
Lively ambiance. Value for money. Good portion size. Good presentation in regards to food and drink. Its complete dine in package for Indian street food lovers.
Will definitely come back soon. What a lovely authentic experience. 👌👌👌 We were truly amazed.
Thank you👍 Team of Patri you made our evening unforgettable. Well done
Very tasty butter chicken and excellent samosas!!
Had ordered a takeaway on deliveroo. Butter chicken is definitely one of the best in London. First bite transfers you straight down the memory lane to any top North Indian restaurant or famous dhabas. Sauce gravy was excellent but the chicken not very fresh. The kheema naan okish. No wow factor. But very palatable.
Garlic naan was a bit chewy, but then again was in takeaway so will try another time fresh at the restaurant. Dal makhani was a bit of disappointment. Was strangely sour. And not buttery and creamy as it should be. The steamed rice was very dry and a bit under cooked. May be given the benefit of doubt that was in a takeaway container.
Now coming to the samosa. Hands down one of the best you can get anywhere. Even better than some famous places in India. Excellent taste, fresh good seasoning nice authentic texture of the dough. And to top it all very good tamarind chutney. Highly recommend for good hearty Indian flavours. Their menu selection is excellent as goes with the drinks too!
Would definitely recommend to friends and family! And will be coming soon to dine in!!
Taste of the food really good. Perfect spice levels. Sufficient portion size. Ordered a vegetarian thali. It came with 2 rotis, 4 curries and starters , rice and sweet. My only disappointment is mint tea !! They literally poured hot water on mint leaves and gave !!
By far the best curry I've had in London. Great vegetarian options and selection of beers on tap. Never disappointed
We had an amazing evening at Patri. The staff made sure that we were looked after well when there was a delay to us getting our table - keeping us updated with the delay and allowing us to have a drink at the bar.
Dinner was delicious- the recommendations from Puneet and his team ensured that everyone's needs were catered for while providing an amazing meal.
Looking forward to going back soon
The butter paneer is amazing - really tasty and it's my second time trying this and will probably get it again. The railway lamb curry isn't great though and could do with some more flavour. For starters the fried fish is good and it comes with a nice sauce and the chicken wings are okay, but again not enough spice. Overall, the place is good and I'm interested to try more of their Veg curries as they have a wide selection of vegan/vegetarian food, which I think will be better than the meat dishes. It is overpriced though, as we ended up spending £74 for the above (with no drinks) but the vibe of the place is also quite nice and good service too.
Really had a great experience at Patri last night. The weather was lovely so decided to sit outside. I was concerned about Halal meat, they were kind enough to show me their Halal certificate. Ambience was really nice, purely gives the feel of Indian street food.
Shreya the staff member was really helpful and attentive. We ordered Chicken Biryani, it was lovely, better than many places we also ordered Chef Special Curry (half portion) and it was on point especially with their butter naan and spice level was so on point. They also gave us a portion Daal Makhni which was complimentary and again lovely, very kind of them.
Overall a great experience 9/10.
I’d be definitely going back.
We were excited for the new opening of Patri restaurant in Northfields. Serving up meals inspired by Indian rail journey dishes and street food classic, the menu looks very appetising. The restaurant is modern with pops of traditional Indian dining scattered throughout. The stripped walls and corrugated metal evoke a raw sense of the railways and stations and the food is beautifully plated in traditional steel thalis.
Patri offer a well stocked bar and cocktails galore. We opted for some Pornstar martinis which were strong and fruity. There are offerings of nimbu lemon soda, chai or lassi if you fancy a traditional accompaniment to your meal.
The starters menu is a “who’s who” of Indian street food star dishes. We chose the Old Delhi Pani Puri Bombs (£3.95) – crispy wheat balls to self serve by filling with chick pea, boiled potato and tangy, hot, spicy mint water. These are a “down in one” affair that promise an explosion of heat and flavour – they were excellent and a lot of fun to eat
Next we had the Chatpati Aloo Tikki Chaat (£5.95) – potato cakes on chickpeas with lemon, vinegar, onions, tomato, pomegranate and a seriously lip smacking tamarind and mint chutney. The textures and pop of heat were fabulous in this dish.
We opted for a Chef’s special thali of the day (£22.95 meat/£19.95 veg) consisting of tandoori starter, chicken curry, daal makhani, lal maas (lamb), palak paneer, rice, pickles and naan. We also had extras of monk fish curry to try.
We loved every dish but our favourite was the monk fish curry as it was so rich and meaty with a salty spiced sauce. The daal makhani (simmered for 8 hours) was gorgeous and creamy and the palak paneer had the depth of flavour of traditional homemade versions. The dishes are a delight with intense flavours. There is serious heat to some of these dishes but they are handily marked on the menu if you prefer to avoid them!
We ended with a melt in the mouth gulab jamun which is a popular traditional Indian dessert. It was juicy and sweet and the perfect end to the spicy dishes we enjoyed earlier.
Patri restaurant in Northfields is a great little spot that cooks up Indian dishes with real traditional touches. The dishes have richness and depths of flavour that evoke true Indian flavour profiles.
The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to explain the dishes and suggest items. There is a buzz about the restaurant, the music is cranked up a little later in the evening and there was a queue at the door as we left (and this was just a weekday).
They handily mark vegan/gluten free options of which there are several across the menu. If authentic fiery Indian dishes are your thing, Patri is most certainly worth a trip for.
Lovely restaurant with amazing Indian food and dishes. Everything we had was delicious and reasonably prices. Lots of veggie curries on the menu. Service was very friendly, we had a very enjoyable night with friends.
Nice Indian curry house with a twist, good food lovely atmosphere based in Ealing medium spiced food.
Defiantly worth a try, staff are friendly prices are reasonable ………!!
Ordered takeaway due to current lockdown restrictions. Order placed swiftly and prepared promptly. Tried 4 vegetarian / vegan chaats and they were full of flavour and didn’t disappoint. For mains, the daal makhni was excellent, the paneer tikka makhni was good but slightly sweeter than expected and naan’s were a bit chewy. Overall I would recommend the food as it tasted wonderful. A return visit is needed to try the remainder of chaats when were back to some normality.
Don’t read the delivery reviews - this place needs to be dine in! The thali was sooooo good and we swapped out the lamb for the fish curry, which was one of the best I’ve ever tasted.
Great dishes, great artisan food, also great craft beer which is always good for me! 👌
Top top top 🔝 👌🥘🍛🍺
This place is a bit like a Dishoom on your doorstep. Authentic feeling food, so don't expect your classics like Madras, korma, jalfrezi etc. The food itself tasted nice, but I felt I was definitely paying areal premium for what ended up being a very boney curry. I'm more than happy to have bones, I just felt the bone to meat ratio should have been better. It's well worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a different take on Indian food.
This is probably our 10th visit and we have only been in the neighbourhood for a year. Simply the best Indian restaurant I have found so far in London (I’ve stopped searching). Unbelievable flavours, a ridiculous craft beer selection and a team of staff that are polite, accommodating and simply just nice people. Thanks again guys! Amazing
