A great pub with a friendly atmosphere. The food is fantastic and the local beers are worth discovering. Service was brilliant even when busy and the beer garden allowed us to enjoy the sun whilst it lasted.

The Clarence is my local pub and I've been consistently impressed by the friendly service and local beer selection. The decor is quite fun and makes for an easy place to chill after a long week. The food is pretty good and I was impressed that they gave me a whole avocado last time I showed the wait
The Clarence is very attractive and lively, but not so loud that you can’t hold a conversation on a Saturday night. Plus they have poodle lamps. What’s not to love? The rest of the bar is decent too. A lovely modern pub with a good menu, wide selection of drinks and enough TVs to please the sports crowd. Great Pub. Modern in style with a good selection of beers. Budvar dark and light on tap and of course the 'half and half'. Great pizzas from the wood oven with the occasional live DJ make this a fun place. Friendly atmosphere too. go.
Here today the 23/08/15 with a Company Staff member having a sunday lunch. Food presentation awesome, pub clean and tidy, staff not the best presentation but very welcome and polite. A place to be and then try the chicken roast, very good!! Gianni
I love spending an evening at the BA. They always have great (local) beers and cidres on tap, and it has a great atmosphere and wonderful bar staff. The food is good as well, although it's very expensive.
I love the Clarence, it's such a cool bar, big open windows, you can while away a day and watch the world go by. In the heart of Balham, perfectly placed for a walk on Clapham Common, down the road, look round the shops then settle in for a roast and some beers. Perfect.
