We come from Portsmouth and was really happy to have rice noodles in this restaurant. Feel like Hong Kong. My daughters and son love it very much. Food good and staffs nice. I understand the shop is small but please keep the quality of food and service. We will come back if we go to London again.

I’ve been here many times already and their noodles is getting tastier and tastier 😋 The noodles is quite chewy and the broth very rich. My favourite broth is the sour and spicy one because I love the minced pork and pickled vegetables that come with the broth. My favourite toppings are tangerine peel flavoured fish balls, pork belly, minced pork. I do feel the garlic paste pork belly could be more tender but it’s still very yummy. The service is always nice at the restaurant even when it gets busy. This place has quickly become my favourite restaurant that sells Chinese noodles in London, or even in the UK.

Second visit to Yun Gui Chuan within the last four weeks and I am very happy with my visit both times. This time round I finally got to try the spicy century eggs and it was worth the wait and second visit. Felt there's an increase with the toppings and that was also worthwhile. Slightly disappointed with the spicy chicken wings. The flavour felt more like curry wings from a supermarket and wasn't particularly authentic. Otherwise great food and really friendly staff and a good experience. They have changed the way they order food. Be ready to scan a QR code and order from your phone.

Lovely rice noodle place in East London, portions were good and they're dog friendly! Staff are very polite and helpful, they let us come in to sit earlier whilst we waited for our friend to arrive and ordered some starters. This time I ordered a tomato soup base with dumplings + beef meatballs. They were also handing out free pumpkin sago with food orders for the Halloween season, which was really nice :) Will be visiting again to try other soup bases + toppings!

Ordered two noodle sets. One tomato soup base with dumplings and a Yuen Yeung drink, the other with sweet and sour soup base and chicken wings as well as a lemon tea drink. Portion sizes are huge here and service is very quickly however the price does add up quickly with the additional items/toppings for the soup. We spent close to £50 for lunch which is much more on the dearer side for a lunch set. Both soup bases were delicious however the chicken wings were a bit bland and on the dryer side. Dumplings were large and very spicy. Unfortunately the Yuen Yeung drink was disappointing. Syrup is used to sweeten the drink instead of condensed milk which made the drink very bitter. Unfortunately it was too bitter/too much coffee flavour to drink so it went to waste. All in all, staff are friendly and attentive. Would recommend coming for a noodle or Hong Kong fix.

I had the pleasure of visiting Yun Gui Chuan yesterday around 4pm, and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience. There was no queue at that time, making it a convenient dining option. The spicy and numbing soup was the highlight of the meal. It boasted a rich, strong flavour that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. While I personally found the rice noodles to be a bit too soft for my liking, my boyfriend thought they were perfect - so it really depends on individual preferences. We chose spicy pork belly, spicy chicken, beef meatballs, and cuttlefish ball to accompany our rice noodles. The spicy pork belly and beef meatballs were simply divine. The appetisers were nothing short of amazing. We tried the spicy century eggs, fried bean sauce chicken wings, and sliced pork belly with mashed garlic. The spicy century eggs and sliced pork belly were particularly outstanding, and I would highly recommend them to everyone. The exclusive spicy sauce used at the restaurant was both delicious and unique, setting this place apart from others. The ambiance and interior design of the shop were also commendable. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, making for a comfortable dining environment. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend it and can’t wait to return for another visit.

Arrived before opening time and there was a small queue already and within 5 mins of opening the restaurant was full…mostly Chinese and Asian folk. Friendly waitress helped with our order but I could see others struggled with the QR system. Otherwise not much of a customer service experience. Typical for HK, have to share tables with stranger, which I am used to but would be new to non-Chinese folk. Food wise the chicken wings were ok but not quite up to expectations. Noodles were fantastic. Both me and my wife chose mildly spicy but it was more spicy than we’d expected and we can tolerate a bit of spice normally. HK milk teas was great but a very small cup/ glass. I loved my sliced belly pork and pigs intestine and bean curd roll noodles. Dad had the beef meat balls and bugs blood curd. Not something we get much of in UK. We loved it. Would come back again to try other variations.

First visit and I felt in love with the noodles already. The broth was so rich that you could taste sourness, spiciness and the essence from the pork bones - a rare kind even in Hong Kong's rice noodle places. Will return!

Super tasty and replicates the taste of HK hot and sour noodles. Great choice of toppings and wide range of spice levels. Obviously don't compare with HK prices, but super reasonable for London. The ingredients are fresh and good quality. Service also superb - servers and owner were so lovely to talk to each time I'm there. gave everyone free dessert for Mid-Autumn today!

Yummy noodles! Large portions and good depth of flavour, but be careful as mild is actually mouth burningly spicy! They also gave us a free dessert for autumn moon festival which was a taro sago pudding soup which cooled the mouth down after some spicy noodles

Excellent Energy and delicious food. Just like a Hong Kong Cafe! Felt good to enjoy some real noodles and food that felt so homely. We ate every last bite and must recommend the chilli century egg if you love a hk classic with some extra spice. Lots of customisable choices and wonderfully made food as well as good cleanliness

I was feeling homesick and really missing HK style rice noodles. (Honestly, TamJai SamGor needs to open up a franchise here) But this place really did feel like home from the minute I stepped in. I arrived around 3pm and there were plenty of seats available. I got the milk tea, hot and sour soup with medium spiciness. It came to just under £19. A bit pricey considering the milk tea was pretty small. But the noodles were great and totally scratched that itch.

Queue for around 30 mins to be seated. The rice noodles met our expectations, the soup base was thick with reasonable price. The fired beans sauce chicken wings were good while the pork belly with garlic was average as it lacked sufficient chili oil, texture was rather tough, and the garlic was not fine enough. Portion size of the cold drinks was small.

Authentic HK Style Rice noodles😎 if you want to taste the hk style how it is, you can have a meal here. Century Egg is highly recommended although its outlook is literally weird….😂 Good to try

Definitely feel the Hong Kong vibe as all the waiters speak Cantonese and a lot of the chinese diners speak Cantonese. The noodles are quite good and the service was Buick so this spot makes for a quick lunch if you are not too far from Brick Lane.

Tried this rice noodle place the first time recently and it was alright. I’ve got hot and numb noodle with tripe and pork belly as side. It’s a little bland in my opinion. My friend had dry noodles with beef and was pretty decent. You can order from a barcode on the table and the service was fast during my visit. I also liked the the range of proteins you can choose for the dish. Would recommend the dry noodle if you can take spice.

I was surprised when my friend brought me to Yun Gui Chuan last night. You can’t find more authentic rice noodles with that sort of cozy Cantonese atmosphere anywhere in London. I also had coke with salty & fresh lemon, definitely one of my favorites! So good for after food, and for summer too!
