Today, I had a really bad experience in the shop, but I gave it 5 stars because I like the place and the products.
I didn't like being treated like a second-class customer just because another customer was busy talking on the phone and leaving their groceries at the till I noticed it while I was doing my own shopping.
The lady at the till began to check out my items when they arrived with the last items. She even asked if they wanted to go ahead of me, even though I was already in line for payment.
It made me wonder if some people have no manners when it comes to behaving in a shop, especially here in the UK. Those customers put the lady at the till in an uncomfortable position and me that for sure I didn't want they go ahead me.
They should learn some manners and adapt to the customs of the country they are living in, please, take a basket if you don't know what you want to buy in the shop.
If heaven exists then it’s at this place. Amazing product, all the cheese and meat that you buy per 100g are exquisite. Additionally, the store has an amazing selection of fresh and dried pasta and a number of Italian delicacies. The smoked bacon and the truffle pecorino are divine!
I would most definitely recommend it!

This place is amazing, has authentic Italian food and grocery available to buy. The staff are friendly, they also have a deli counter and serve fresh bread, coffee, cakes etc.
Great selection of italian charcuterie and cheese. High quality.

Prezzemolo & Vitale is a very complete Italian deli, with a good selection of dry food, cheese and sausage, but also including ready meals and takeaway coffee. Wines from all over Italy can be found, and also great olive oil…
Oh it’s so wonderful ❤️ makes me feel like I’m in a small town in Italy.... munching on my delicious porchetta sandwich now!
Just my kind of Deli, stocking Sicilian, Italian, Sardinian cured meats, divine coffee, and so much else. Such friendly people there, especially Alessandro who was absolutely charming and knowledgeable about meals and cheeses. I'll be back !!!
This store is good for some things and not so good for others. Their pastries, selection of cheese and cured meats, selection of rarer / 'healthier' options is very broad for such a small shop. They also have some imported ingredients that can be hard to find elsewhere and foreign snacks.
The salad bar at the front of the store is crazy overpriced for what it is though and doesn't taste as high quality as you'd expect considering the rest of the store. I'd give the salad bar 1* tops, but the rest of the store is great.
Visited the Notting Hill branch today... Absolutely blown away by this place!!! The most amazing Italian Deli I have been to in London. The customer service was impeccable, the food was outstanding and the overall vibe of the place was like being in Italy! Highly recommend!!
Great selection of italian food, most of it very fresh and authentic. I would go here only if I gave a lot of time. The staff, although friendly, is not very helpful and very slow, it can take ages to wrap up your purchase. Also, many working here doesn't really speak english and it's a bit difficult to communicate if you need something particular...
