Rare izakaya style Japanese restaurant provides home-feeling Japanese food, simple but comfortable. The taste might be slightly different on each visit, but is generally good. Good for casual lunch/dinner with friends and family. Better to reserve a table on busy nights.

Food took a bit too long to arrive, but highly recommend their Ebi Fry curry. Takoyaki was alright, moist in the inside and most of it is flour. Tonpei Yaki looks better than it taste, the pork inside just wasn’t seasoned. Other than that everything else was good, would revisit.

We were surprised that this place only serves sushi on the weekends (we came on a weekday) but it was to our advantage as we got to enjoy the other things they serve on the menu! We Absolutely loved our dinner here. All the food came out hot, perfectly prepared and cooked fresh. We had the ebi fry (crispy) aubergine with miso paste (tasty) and gyoza (pan fried) to start - highly recommended. Their okonomiyaki is one of the best I’ve had. The servers are kind but it’s a busy place so at times hard to get them but when they were with us they were gracious. The place gets busy so it’s best to book ahead.

Real Authentic Japanese Izakaya. I would really like to try their Agedashi tofu but it was sold out. We had the best Tebasaki (手羽先) in London so far and it's even better than the one I tried in Osaka/Kanazawa. DEFINITELY GONNA COME AGAIN.

Been in the afternoon and was quite. Nice atmosphere and good food. Very good and tasty the donburi rice and the maki. We spend 25 pound a head with a beer to share,2 maki,2 donburi and the pumpkin crocchette.

Delicious authentic Japanese food! The interior of the restaurant was also particularly awesome as it reminded me of my trip to Japan from a few years back. It was a real shame that the sushi/sashimi selection was not available for lunches on a weekend as that would have definitely notched it to a 5-star review. The staff also needed to be a little bit more attentive as we had to physically get up to ask for things. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a try if you like Japanese food!

This was honestly one of the best meals out I’ve ever had! The food was excellent and staff were extremely friendly. They put in a lot of effort to make us feel welcome and got everything spot on. My only comment would be that one of the mains did take a while longer to come than the others, however this didn’t take away from our experience and we had a lovely night!

We ordered around 6 dishes for 3 of us and every single bite was gorgeous. The staff and service were excellent - they were friendly and happy to talk us through dishes we weren't familiar with, and make recommendations. Fast service. Great pricing (paid £25 each, including alcoholic drink, and we were stuffed). Clean plates all round.

got the vegetable okonomiyaki, pumpkin korroke curry, and green tea. very nice & authentic! one of the few places that sell okonomiyaki :) just be awake that the menu they have online is a lot bigger than the menu you can actually choose from. unfortunately there were a few things we wanted to get, but they weren’t on the updated menu in the restaurant. service isn’t anything good for a 12.5% service charge. refillable green tea didn’t get refilled once. go it’s a small place, so make a reservation if you can.

Easily one of my favourite spots in London for an authentic Japanese set lunch! Lovely staff and efficient service. The food is fresh and delicious too. Had some cold tofu, miso, and gyoza today, followed by the lunch special (my dining partner had gyudon - a delicious beef on rice bowl - and I had one of my all time favourite - unagi bento - japanese style eel with rice and a set inclusive of salad, edamame, and radish). Very satisfied and will come here again in the near future - as always!

I decided to go fully vegan in a Japanese restaurant. Their seared aubergine and wakame salad are absolutely delicious. According to my friends the sushi was decent too according to my friends who used to live in Japan. A not so vegan update from my last visit: their unagi (eel) is scrumptious.

We did lunch takeaway, was surprisingly good. £10 a bento is quite reasonable, comes with rice, 2 big chunks of salmon or pork chop and miso soup. Will come back for proper meal to decide if it deserves 5-star.
