It is the first time I have been to this restaurant chain and was really impressed with the service and food especially as my wife is a coeliac and they were able to give her gluten free options fantastic
After having so many bad experiences with this restaurant since it opened (very poor service, rude staff, bad food quality and long waiting time) I promised I'd never go back there again. I'm not a picky customer by any means and all of tables around me I have seen complaining aswell in the past. However, my daughter really wanted to go this afternoon and I reluctantly agreed. And I'm glad she did! I don't know if they've turned around the staff and structure but I was extremely impressed by the service and the food was amazing. It wasn't busy admittedly but I would definitely go back now and would actually look forward to it. Waiter was lovely, forgot to catch his name but it was this afternoon that he served us.
Great food which was freshly made, lots of gluten free options which are clearly marked which is great for coeliacs! I went there last night and thought it was great that the staff were so kind and gave excellent service even though it was New Years Eve. Will definitely be back.
Great food. Great place. New tech tablet to order food from your table, call waiter & ask for Bill without having to walk around. Lovely dessert. Only the price is a little bit high.
Food was good and waiter was very attentive. Changed onion rings immediately when we said they were not warm enough and gave us free coffees as an apology �
We were invites to a sales event where they were showcasing their menus for events. The focus was also on pizza making as an interesting activity for guests. As I was double booked, I managed to get there for the desserts which was worth it. People who I know where there and said the pizza waa ok. Bella Italia has never been particularly cool or even know for great food, but I will say i was keen on the desserts. Not having a sweettooth, this is rare for me. The place is near where I live and I come to the Angel centre to shop, so I may pass through en route home or even before a cinema trip to see what the pasta has to offer.
The dessert tasting shots were, cheesecake, salted caramel, pannacotta with raspberry and other bits. A nice, if not short intro to the place.
So delicious, friendly staff had a really good experience. Highly recommend.

Best Italian I've had in London
Went here on our first day in London. Server was super friendly. Food was pretty good with sizeable portions. The place looks nice and relaxed.
It has been my second visit to this restaurant and it's become one of my favourite Italian places to dine! The food is very cheap especially if you're a student there's a student menue where food starts from £5!!! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves pasta and pizza!

My best friend and I took her younger sister and a couple of her friends to do the pizza making party session. Which they absolutely loved, the atmosphere was really lovely, the people were really nice to the kids and us as well. The pizza looked and tasted amazing. Really loved the decor and will definitely be coming here again not sure when but we will.
Had a wonderful night here. There were nine of us, and it was busy, so service was a little slow. But the food was amazing, and the staff were even better!
Slight criticism is that I could see my food on the counter for a few minutes before it was brought over, and therefore it wasn't hot, but they took it back and brought out a new one within minutes!
Our server Alessandra was absolutely amazing, and even put candles in a brownie for my friend whose birthday it was (without being asked). Had a lovely meal, despite there being some differences in meals even though they'd ordered the same thing (i.e. some had cranberry sauce with their Tacchino Paupiette and others didn't).
I ordered the gluten free Tagliatelle Capra, and the tagliatelle was substituted with a gluten free penne, which was fine, and delicious.
I'd recommend going there, with both big and small groups. I suggest you call to make a reservation though, as they do get busy, especially around this time of year.

Visited for dinner on a Tuesday night and had the vegan bean burger and the vegan lentil spirals. We enjoyed both the dishes and I would order them again. I would say that the bun on the burger was a bit stale and was cold. It may have been nicer if it was toasted.
A nice spot for food if you are going to the cinema near by.
The staff was very nice. They are friendly people. I ate Traditional Lasagna which was Pro 👍 I really enjoyed. For dessert I choosed Tiramisu also next level. I'll return soon I think. I recommend that restaurant. The Bella Italia is my favourite chain in the UK.
I've been in Bella Italia establishments before and have almost always enjoyed the food and service. This was my first visit to Angel and the first since the menu changes. There have been some good additions and improvements. Bella Italia have added some healthier items and having healthier choices is always a great thing. As a health nut I always try to get lower calorie meals but in this gastro/junk food world it often proves difficult. However I'm pleased to say that there are plenty of healthy options at Bella Italia so if you haven't tried the new menu then give it a go ... you shouldn't be disappointed. The decor and service are good and it's not too expensively priced.
Nice clean restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere good for girls night out families or friends. The only downside, they need more staff.
Upside meals always Palatable And as for the cherry cheesecake is spot on. And a big thank you to my waiter

Delicious food, staff were very helpful with allergen advice, mindful and conscientious with ensuring the food was safe - saved from nearly accidentally ordering something that would have prompted an allergy attack, thank you for your care! Will be visiting again.
Really exceptional customer service, food came promptly and was hot and delicious. First time visiting any Bella Italia would definitely recommend and come again to further explore their menu!
Was seated pretty much straight away, food was served quickly, it was delicious and hot, honestly can not fault the food or the service. I will be visiting again
