Ate here yesterday and it was probably the best Chinese I've ever had. Great value for money (starter and main each with a drink £13pp) the tastiest salt and chilli ribs and the main meals were light and full of flavour. Left feeling full but not sluggish and tired like most Chinese meals. Will definitely be back next time we visit London.
The most authentic, tasty, well presented chinese food in SW London. My favourite chinese restaurants are in based in Soho/Chinatown. But Fortune Cat are just as good and use high quality ingredients within their dishes. Love this place. I'm a regular customer :).

2023 update: fortune cat has moved to Hammersmith but it's still as good! We order from them every week. Today I was having a quick look at their reviews and was surprised to see just over 3* avg. Now I'm reading a lot of reviews saying something like "we've ordered from here for years and it's always been perfect, but our last order was undercooked so 1*". That's not really a fair. We have ordered since 2020 and never had anything raw yet! My only complaint with this place is they have too few delivery drivers and food is often delayed, that said we are not local!
I'm pescatarian so if food is not fresh I'm the first to know (as is out cat)! These guys do amazing dim sum, really fresh! Also their squid dishes are exquisite. My husband loves the pork ribs (very tender) and any of their mains. While we had to wait some time for our first delivery during the height of lockdown we realised it was because demand exceeded supply so likely a good sign and we've never been disappointed since!
I bought salt and chill chips with curry sauce and mixed veg box meal. I must say it was worth every penny. I am very picky and this exceed my expectations after reading the reviews.
Great value box meals with really generous portions. Chicken balls are massive!
We ordered the duck with pancakes, sweet and sour pork and prawn dumplings, everything was delicious I would highly recommend. My favorite were the dumplings.

Very high quality food 🥡 for what the venue looks like and good value. The soups are some of the best quality I've ever had! Almost everything is nice, starters and mains but I was disappointed with the Buddhist broth and the banana fritters for dessert. The only criticisms I could make is that the lobster was either overcooked a lil, or tasted like that because it's baked, maybe too much cornflour is used to make dishes sticky etc, and the vegetable selection should really be better.
Takeaway at this place is incredible. Fantastic Thai Green curry, fried rice and spring rolls. Don't get that awful feeling after eating greasy food. Delivery times are always long but willing to wait for the best Chinese I've tasted in a long time
The food was amazing. Arrived hot. Meat was fresh and juicy. I ordered real Chinese and my husband ordered British takeaway style Chinese and they were both AMAZING. Best Chinese takeaway that we’ve had in London (we’ve been here for 8 years). Will be back and can’t recommend enough
Great tasting sweet and sour chicken (the chicken balls under starters on Deliveroo). They are massive and so tasty! Been looking for a place that makes proper deep fried chicken balls and doesn’t add pineapple and other things to the sauce. Delicious and great value.
