First time at Hither Green, absolutely amazing food. Service is superb, everyone is super friendly. The food was so good! Beef Shin Ravioli was delicious and the pizza and pasta dishes are really, really tasty. Really great atmosphere, real family feel!
This is a fantastic Italian restaurant in the very lovely London neighborhood of Lewisham. The staff here were extremely welcoming, friendly, and chatty. They made us feel at home!
I recommend starting off with the bruschetta (3 pieces in one order) then a pizza and perhaps a pasta dish.
We had the bruschetta, followed by a Margherita 🍕 and spicy penne pasta.
I'll definitely come back!

I’ve been there with my family a few times to celebrate special occasions and we always had a wonderful time.
The food is really tasty, authentic Italian. The pizza is one of the best in the area as they use fresh ingredients and the dough is light.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
I can’t recommend it enough.

This is our local Italian and it’s excellent. They have a great and limited selection of pasta and pizza dishes with my favourite being black truffle ravioli. Always great atmosphere and service!
Our favourite Italian / Pizza restaurant in the borough. The service is quick and friendly, the food delicious (especially the Calzone Carbonara and also the Cannolo dessert). Whilst they do takeaway, nothing beats the fresh out of the oven flavour and it's a great place to enjoy a meal at.
It has a small restaurant charm, whilst still having plenty of seating. The staff are also very accommodating of children, which allows us to enjoy family time out.
A short walk from Hither Green station, but also with plenty of parking in nearby streets. Well worth a trip, or detour if you're even remotely nearby.
Always full of customers and buzzing when we go past, so decided on the spur of the moment to see if they had a table for 2 - we were not disappointed! We had a warm welcome and although busy, we only had 5 mins to wait before we were seated by the friendly staff, on a lovely table on the verandah. Fantastic food - best seafood pasta this side of Amalfi, and a rich homemade pesto sauce, both generous portions. We also shared a melt-in-the-mouth tiramisu and were so pleased we had managed to find room for it!
It's clear why this restaurant is so popular - great food and atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, very good value and an all-round brilliant experience on a warm summer evening in the city! We will be back :-)
Delicious food and great service at this cosy local Italian. The tuna steak starter was superb and the wood fire pizzas were exactly what we were craving. The front of house team were great, even on a really busy night, and our waitress, Camilla, made us feel really special! Will definitely return soon! Love having a place like this in the local area.
This is near our son's house and we have been there twice. We will be back tomorrow. Fantastic food and great service. You will not find better. The staff are great, even when they managed to spill my wife's gin and slimline tonic on me. It was no problem except that it was the last slimline tonic they had !!!! Highly recommended and they have food for everyone as our other son is vegetarian and also had fantastic meal.
Despite living locally for years, I only discovered this lovely little restaurant this summer and It has now become a firm favourite place to eat, midweek or weekend alike. Invariably the food and wine have been great and the staff lovely, combining efficiency and friendliness in equal measure. Place always seems to have a gentle but buzzy atmosphere. And reasonable prices! We’re lucky to have this gem of a place in the neighbourhood.
The food was sublime and the wine list above what you would expect from a local pizza joint. Service incredible. You will love it!

Very good experience. We tried the gnocchi and black truffle ravioli and both were incredible. The desert was also delicious and the staff was very friendly.
First time at this location. Was welcomed with a smile and a choice of indoor or outdoor dining.
The food overall was very nice and filling. The Avocado Prawn had a good avocado to prawn and salad ratio but felt that the Avocado needed a bit of salt or season to compliment the prawns. The Pizza was amazing, correct amount of toppings, had a lot of flavour but not overpowering and the dough was cooked just right, no real flaws at all. Only downside is that I felt that the Black truffle Ravioli had a bit too much oil in the bowl.
The staff were polite and accommodating and what I liked is that the actually let you enjoy your food instead of constantly asking if you enjoy it

A very nice local restaurant, we eat here often. The pizza dough is great quality, although on some pizzas too many toppings mean the centre can be a little watery sometimes, and sometimes they need more seasoning. The appetisers and pasta (especially the Paccheri) are fantastic and service is good.
