I went to Q's Chicken with my mother.
The chicken at this place was very delicious. They serve goo food. The interiors of this place are very attractive.
I would highly recommend you guys to go to this place.
This place gives the feeling of comfort food at affordable rates. They don't have much variety in vegetarian but the few choices are sure to not disappoint! The staff is friendly and the seating area is for about 10-12 persons. This place is open till 4 am in the morning to tackle your late night hungerpangs.
We tried:
1) Chana with naan (5/5)- This dish was absolutely delicious! The naan was super soft and the Chana tasted amazing with a side of salad to balance out the spice. MUST TRY
2) Yellow Daal and rice (4.5/5)- Tasted amazing and the quantity was enough for a meal for one, but I wish it had a little more garlic! Anyhow, the Daal was fantastic
All in all, great place with amazing quantity and very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this place! 👍🏻
Level of satisfaction 9000. It's the perfect hangover cure with comfort food. Got to give them credit for their dal rice and chana Chawal 👌🏼 ask them if they'd do a tadka, they'll probs do a garlic and onion one and make your experience worth while.
Brownie points for the friendliest staff that make the place feel like home.
Q's Chicken is situated very near to the King's Cross Station in London. This place is quite good if you want to have a Chickened snack. They serve various other dishes not limiting to Chicken and Chips such as Chicken/Lamb Biriyani, Kebab, Naan & Indian / South Indian style curries, etc. The place is not massive but big enough to accommodate many of their customers. The staff is very friendly and kind. Food is reasonably sized and not overly priced. My favourite dish in here is their #Chicken Salad, which is healthy and yummy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone :)
With a friendly staff eager to talk with you it is such a lovely place for me now. The food is of different types and the taste is quite up to the mark. I have tried their fried chicken which isn't very good but the Indian curry dishes particularly the lamb curry and rice is really tasty. I am almost a regular now to this place and have tasted almost all the dishes. Recommended for a cheap eat.
Does what it says on the tin .. really cant complain .
Its a chicken shop.
If you want chicken , fast service and a place to quickly munch .

It's fast food chicken - perhaps - but somehow there is this special juiciness within the meats. Even for fast foods I always prefer home-made ones like this rather than the big-wig industrial chains.
Could use with a cleaner space, but works fine. And oh yeah, great coleslaw.
This place is a hidden jewel. The daal rice and channa rice are amazing and always fresh. The best part is its open almost 24 hours a day so no matter what the time you can always get your daal rice ! The lamb curry here is very very good as well.
I have always been in the city for a minimum of a week some times up to 3 - 4 weeks post with my initial craving of experimenting & trying newer places around on the 4th day I land up here for its amazing Dal chawal and fried chicken all for approx 5 quid. The portion size is enough to keep you not wanting for more till next major meal.
Try their burgers which is a good change from Burger king.
The chicken curry is good, spicy though. Not sure if these are normal London prices, but this plate costing £9 is too much. I would give it 5 stars if it was £7.
A trio of connoisseurs* of South Asian cuisine descended upon Kings Cross on a fine Spring evening in 2022, in search of Q.
I say they were in search of Q, but really two of them hadn't been told where they're going and the third had organised the evening. So, despite one member having dressed like he was ready to find some ancient ruins, this wasn't exactly a new installment in the Indiana Jones saga.
Q's Kitchen can only be described as a reverse Trojan Horse. Let me explain:
1) It doesn't look like some lavish gift
2) You go into it, rather than the other way around
3) The surprise is a good one (you have a nice Pakistani meal instead of getting murdered by a bunch of Greek fellas)
If you're not paying attention, Q's resembles a regular London chicken shop, but look to the left wall and you'll see a regular menu of Pakistani classics - chana curry, haleem, biryani, and more... look to the right and there's a chalk board of specials.
We obviously started with a round of 6 spicy chicken wings though. Supremely greasy, a little kick of chilli, and with just enough crunch in the coating to make them satisfying.
We followed up with a chana curry with rice, haleem, paya, aloo paratha, and a couple of naan. As you can see in the attached photo (slightly edited to fix lighting), our former chairman was particularly excited by this feast, and his enthusiasm for the food remained as such throughout.
We definitely over ordered, and yet the bill (with 3 soft drinks) came in under £35.
In the words of Fatboy Slim:
"We've come a long long way together,
Through the bad times and the good,
I have to celebrate Q, baby,
I have to praise Q like I should"
*there were definitely three of us, whether or not we are connoisseurs is less certain.
Had the chicken and lamb Biryani. Very good and spicy. I prefer the lamb more though. U can dine in or take away.
Honestly, this place is SO GOOD. As a Bengali, I can say the daal was 10/10 and the chicken biryani was 9/10! I’m also unwell, but the flavours?? SO GOOD. They also gave me salad & mint sauce! Delivery was quick, food was hot and packed securely. I would definitely recommend their Indian cuisine!!
Tasty veggie (and also meaty) Pakistani/Indian food. Brightly lit, but does the trick. Good price, food comes quickly but is properly cooked. Polite service, polite crowd as well. Got a 3/5 food safety certificate in Jan 2018, which is "generally satisfactory", better score than many other late night places. First posted this review in 2018, went again last night and still excellent, now take card payments.
Did not disappoint at all ! Chicken tikka was cooked to perfection. Personally I would recommend to add sweet chilli sauce as an option which I didn’t find. They have spicy sauce which was very nice. Thankyou Q’ s kitchen
Very close to international Rail station, Halal and very cheap price.
The fact that this restaurant is literally in middle of London where they show case of creative small business and they offer.
Rice meals
Burgers
Chicken friend and chips
Easy to reach and very friendly employee.
Best food i’ve ever eaten in a very long time. The owner is very nice and kind. The food came very fast. Really this is place to eat food.

Loved it. Freshly cooked and delicious. My regular lunch go-to place. Recently increased prices but still very competitive comparing with other restaurants nearby. Staffs are really friendly. Keep the good work guys.
When in king cross,my first choice is Q's kitchen not only for their price and variety, but also the taste and size of the portions. Burgers, curries, fried chicken they have it all. Had their chicken fillet burger yesterday, was superb. Highly recommended
Fond memories of this place as a student and revisited this weekend. This is better than your average chicken shop. Try the tikki burger (grilled chicken patty). Also they have a really good hot sauce, which makes the biggest difference.
