Didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night but was able to be accommodated. Ambience is natural and casual with greenery hung from the ceiling and natural lighting from the skylights. Sat down to an interesting piece of cutlery at the table: a mini cleaver as well as a mug of popcorn. The menu was nice and simple. Service was quick and straightforward. Food came very quickly- we ordered steaks medium rare and the creamed spinach, mash and the aubergine along with the wild mushroom and Bernaise sauces. 3/4 steaks were pretty bang on medium rare; one was a little overdone (but still good). The sides were all very tasty. The ice cream treat offered at the end really hit the spot! Nice quick meal (we were sat down and finished in 45 minutes). Would definitely recommend and return.
Really nice lunch. This place knows how to delight and be different. Popcorn and water when you arrive. Ice cream when you leave. Thats a real nice touch. The food, flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce, very good, aubergine and mac n cheese decent enough. And really nice friendly professional service. I recommend, will go back a few more times for sure.
What a great way to start with a free cup of popcorn! The steaks were fairly priced, around 12-22 pounds and a single order of a steak and a side is a good amount of food per person. The rose lemonade was bottled, fizzy, strange, and disappointing, the waiter didn't explain that when we asked. The real 5 star moment here is the end of the meal when we got a baby knife that we later exchanged for a cone of sweet ice cream. Flat Iron was a fantastic place and experience and we loved it.
Food: we had a classic flat iron style steak. Tasty and melty.
Service: Alex was great and welcoming. She explained how it works in terms of food choices. They Also offered us free popcorn and ice cream before and after the meals.
Atmosphere: very nice and cozy. Even the toilet looked original.

Been to a couple of flat irons in London and this is probably my favourite one. Cozy venue with a lot more natural light than the other ones. Food is always good, can’t go wrong with a steak here. Service was ok, not very engaging but we still enjoyed.
Loved our visit here. The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic. But to make it better they started us with popcorn and finished with an ice cream for free! Fantastically good value too, look forward to visiting again!
I recently dined at Flat Iron and it was a fantastic experience. The steak was unquestionably the star of the show, expertly cooked, tender, and brimming with flavour. The meat was of great quality and preparation, making it a true carnivore's delight. The choice of sauces added additional flavour contrast in texture and colour.
The sides were as spectacular. The menu was varied, and each dish was carefully prepared. The sides nicely complemented the steak and gave dimension to the overall dinner, from the crispy, golden fries to the scrumptious truffled Mac and Cheese.
The service was excellent, with knowledgable staff eager to make recommendations and ensure our dining experience was memorable.
Flat Iron's emphasis on simplicity and quality shines through, and I strongly suggest it to anyone looking for a great steak evening.

What a gem this place is! The food was absolutely delicious + the vanilla ice cream with burnt butter 🍦 on the way out was da bomb! 💥 Also, try almond and lime soft drink. So refreshing and good.

First time in flat iron and didn’t know what to expect, although he heard about it allot from friends.
Menus is pretty simple with not a huge variety, so you better like stake when you go there, but EVERYTHING tasted amazing.
I’ve been to some steak houses before that charge the earth but not only was it really reasonable (we got charged on £40pp for what we had) and we got a free pop corn and ice cream on the way out.
Great customer service there.
It’s hard to choose favourites but the wagu steaks and serloin 🥩 had immense flavour and so did the chips and the mash ….. best mash I’ve ever had in my life, oh my days 🫡
