Was really dreading going here, but a friend insisted. So we went, and I was pretty shocked. We went around 8pm, it was a little busy but we still found a table for 2. So how it works is that you pay £15 per person and it's all you can eat. You can select up to 6 items per order. For example, you place an order for 6 California rolls, once your done with that, you can place your next 6 items. You can do this up to 3 times. And I thought the portions must be small, if they allow this much food, but boy was I wrong.
The food wasn't out of this world, but for the price you're paying and it's all you can eat, it was a pretty good deal. I'm actually considering going back for another visit, as I really loved their sushi mania salad.
The staff weren't very interested though, I had to constantly ask them to clear the table or to take things. Hope I don't have this problem again, however, overall it was alright!
I went here with my best friend and her baby around 1ish without booking a table. I thought it would be busy as it was lunch time but lucky for us there was space for the three of us and even the pram. The staff were very friendly and kindly moved the pram and provided a baby seat.
Me and my friend went for the all you can eat buffet as it was only £15.80 each! It wasn't like a typical buffet were the food is kept out and you can keep going up for more food. You get a menu and you select what you want and how many portions you would like. I think you can only have 3 rounds but 1 round was enough for me and my friend. We were so hungry when we ordered, in total we ordered 13 dishes. We even ordered a softshell crab hand roll each that wasn't part of the buffet menu. I wish we didn't as it wasn't as good as ones I've tried before and it also added £10 to our bill.
The quality of the food was very good my favourite was the salmon sashimi but there is very little that can go wrong there. It's not all sushi on the menu we also ordered chicken and salmon teriyaki, vegetable and prawn tempura. There was a soupbase noodle dishes too but we didn't try it, I saw someone on the other table with one and she disliked it but her friend loved it. You can't please everyone can you!
Overall the food came up to around £50 for the both of us which usually I would think this is pricey for lunch. But to be fair we really did eat a lot, the amount of sashimi we ate would cost £15 if we ate at another reastraunt. I wish we just stuck to the buffet menu as there were other dishes I wanted to try. But I will probably go again as the food is good, staff were nice and it's good value for money.
Sushi in London is a game of extremes. You can pay an awful lot for just plain awful, just as you can get some the freshest on earth. To bring things down to earth Sushi Mania in Golders Green offers all you can eat sushi for the bargain price of £15.80 and such a a bargain.
The service is all you can ask and hope for, and the sushi is more than you can imagine. When you hunger for sushi make it your very first stop. Bring your friends with you and "pig" out on the extensive menu. If nothing else those unfamiliar with sushi should make it a point to explore and discover all that there is. Consider it an educational experience.
Delicious food for a good value of money.
Although chicken and beef scewers were just okay, but the rest compensated it.
Lovely staff, although we did wait for our drinks a while and had to ask a few times.
All in all, good experience, highly recommend.
It's really good food for a fair price. I hadn't been here for a while, but the restaurant renovation looks good too! Black miso cod is a hidden gem on the menu!
Have been going to Sushimania for years and their standards have always been very good.
Really plesant to see the updated decor and hope it will be rolled out to other branches in the near future.
The all you can eat variety is good and offers enough options for most if not all dietary requirements whilst also allowing you to get value for money.
The a la carte menu gives further variety and for lunch on weekdays there is a promotion for 50% off a la carte that makes value for money even better than usual.
The quality of sushi and other dishes is good without being spectacular. The only minor criticism is that sometimes rolls can be very rice heavy.
Unlimited sushi is sushi a great idea. The best on the menu is salmon sashimi, so fresh. Some things aren’t that great but overall you’ll get an incredible value.
We’ve had bottomless sushi there yesterday night and everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! The price is also very reasonable. I’d definitely recommend
Overall the experience was good, given 4 stars as they newly opened under new refurbishment and management i believe. We had a table book, and we were running a bit late, so we called and they hold the table for us. When we arrived only 2/3 more tables where there and we were seated and explained the different menus, one bottomless and one a la carte with 50% off, so both a good deal, however the bottomless menù had indicated that we needed to download an app to place the orders which wasn't correct, as they'll give you a QR CODE to scan and place your orders from, the website to order from was a bit messy, as you can only order every 15 mins, and only 6 dishes from the sushi page and 6 dishes from the hot page, when adding all those to our basket it kept telling us we hadn't ordered enough, even tho we did, and once the order was processed some of our dishes were automatically removed, so leaving us with less dishes each round, however told one of the waiter and they managed to bring us the right amout in the end. I love eating my sushi with a nice cup of Hot green Japanese tea, which unfortunately wasn't available at the time and it's kind of shocking, as they just reopended and one of the most popular drink in a japanese restaurant was out of stock. Also to mention it isn't ideal ti be seated at the table and keep heating the waiters and manager speaking in Japanese and having a full on loud conversation near the tables as this is quite annoying. For the price and quality you get i would say it was good enough, but overall for the rest i would not go back.
Fantastic choices, delicious and fresh!
We did the bottomless deal and that worked out perfectly for the 2 of us!
