Been eating here for years, always a £5 take away box. Usual Chinese food, always warm, tastes fresh. If you want quick, cheap & cheerful this place ticks all the boxes.
Marina
The food was very tasty and cheap. But there was such a nuance in that you need to pay only in cash. The card is not accepted. And the toilet was dirty ...

Not bad for price (£11.50/person). Good variety in f dishes and they keep on refilling with fresh food. Limited/No dessert options. If you are in rush then not bad option. Food is ready, fill yourself up and there you go

What a great treat in centre London. Did not expect the quality and taste of the food at this price in center london.
It's a small buffet in China town. Food tastes better then some of the restaurants around there. Definitely going back and would recommend. 10/10.
P.S do not get mistaken by another buffet restaurant nearby under the same name.

We love this place, the food is delicious and always hits the spot! Wonderful, a generous selection of nibbles that quickly filled us up, perfect for when you can't decide on one thing and fancy a bit of this and a bit of that.
Staff has excellent customer service, they are always very courteous, helpful, polite and good-natured. It can't be understated how important these things are as they really do have an impact on customer experience.

Let's be honest, this isn't fine dining. But if you want to fill up on Chinese takeaway in a funky dive restaurant this is the place to go. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. Food was tasty and a good variety of dishes. Staff were restocking the buffet regularly so food was fresh and hot. Great value. We eat in but the takeaway tub looked a good size and you get to fill it yourself so can load that up with the good stuff rather than just a tub of rice if it were loaded up for you.
Marc Yerrell
£5 for a takeaway buffet box in this economic climate? Could you get better elsewhere? Absolutely. Is the choice limited? Sure is. But got a fiver, you will get a reasonable mix of dishes in a box, with a napkin and a fork. Sometimes you get a smile! If you've got a few extra pounds to splurge, go elsewhere for sure, but if you just need a cheap, quick and reasonable fill up, I cannot fault it. Been going for many years and never been ill !

The space is pretty basic and rudimentary and it might put some people off. But the food is fantastic. Cantonese classics very well prepared and very delicately seasoned and spiced. This is my favourite buffet in London's Chinatown.

At the end of the day it's not going to be Michelin star food or ambience, but for the price point there's a great selection of warm Chinese food available catering to different tastes. It's cash only so make sure you are aware of that beforehand. It's very cramped inside and obviously not silver Service, but a nice place to grab a hot Chinese before continuing on your trip. We will be back!

Tasty Chinese cuisine, all you can eat or take away restaurant for the cheapest price in the area. It is freshly made and delicious also good variety of pork, beef, chicken, tofu dishes and more.. The service is fast and efficient, staff are professional. The restaurant is small so in busy times gets over crowded. I know this restaurant since 2014. and it was good than just as good today. No wonder why it is soo popular.
Andreas Kotsos
Very good and value for money all you can eat. I went twice.
Yes, sitting area is not comfortable.
Yes, staff is not the best.
Yes, they accept only cash.
But with £6.95 really some people waiting for Michelin standard food and service?
I would love to give 1 star to them 😁

if you want an authentic Chinese restaurant instead of a fancy and typical one, you will not find anything better than this one. cheap and delicious (£7,95/person)

I don't know what people expect from a small buffet style restaurant.
The place is clean. Yes, I checked to gents too.
The food is pleasant. It's not extravagant nor is there an abundance of choice (I recall there being 2 rice, 1 noodle, several chicken and a couple of beef dishes. There was also some fresh crisp vegetable dishes, mushrooms, chips, potatoes and spring rolls.
There's no alcohol for sale which is fine with me. Plenty of soft drinks to choose from. If I didn't have that then tap water with ice would be fine.
The staff were polite enough. They explained cash only up front which is often the way with all you can eat nowadays and makes sense.
I have a disability and the staff were only too happy to help me.
There's a sign on the wall next to the food with allergen information which is a must nowadays but thankfully I don't have a need for this.
All told, for under a tenner for all you can eat and a drink you can't really go wrong here, unless you're expecting The Ritz.

I though the staff were a little pushy but overly happy to help and food was great alot of different things to choose from and all piping hot, the coke was flat tho so disappointed but for the money we spent i personal thought it was good value. Id recommend it highly

Not the best .. food was warm at best and section was not great used to be much better ! but it’s cheap for central London
Indrajit Kumar
The food was amazing but the service was appalling! Literally the waiters looked like they had no idea what they were doing! If it weren't for the food I would have refused to even write a review for this place!!
Caylem Boyce
Wobbly table, greasy/chewy overcooked food. Only takes cash (wonder why???). Hardly room to move with too many tiny tables crammed in.
Cindy Witney
The staff were friendly and the food was delicious, fresh and hot but I did miss not having seaweed and chicken satay.
Stelian Nechita
Really good food. We didn't ordered any drinks as we weren't thirsty but they still brought glasses of water at the table, which was nice . Good customer service indeed.
Liene Weerasinghe
This buffet go down so badly.Newer come again.
Steve Fisher
Food very good, staff helpful and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.
Sam Merry
Extremely poor customer service. It felt like the entire time I was there they were just waiting for me to leave so they could cram the next poor sap into the place - and I was using their take-out service!
Would not advise anyone to go there. You'd be much better off with somewhere like Hong Kong Cafe.
Zsuzsi Szklenka
Worst place ever... Totally waste of money!

My Wuview - so this restaurant exploded today. Quietly enjoying a few wu gags with my colleagues and a gas canister explodes under the counter sending wu's food flying all over this poor woman. They had the wudacity to ask ask for payment as we're trying to pick up pieces of our ear drums. See Wu later, wu're not coming back.

I would have enjoyed my visit here, however, unfortunately there was a man studying his recently purchased copy of 'Shemale Strokers 74' in some detail who stayed for two meals. This put me off slightly.
Colin Dobrianskyj
Really enjoyed our food here.plenty to choose from, not bland and tasteless for us and with all you can eat n a couple of pints for less than £30 what more could you ask.
Danny Payne
Shite food but cheap shite food. Customer service is fantastically unhelpfull
Jan Srnec
Excellent food, mainly piquant soup and honey ribs. Bad service.
Inês Cavaco
Nice and cheap Chinese buffet right in the “main entrance” of Chinatown. It was not the best Chinese I’ve ever had, but we were able to sit and enjoy the buffet, which was quite varied.
Amanda Panda
For a quick lunch or dinner It’s the average Chinese buffet. I could say the food tastes quite alright but nothing special. The main aim for this restaurant is to get people in and get people out as fast as possible. Its quite cramped inside with not much room to walk around especially when it’s busy. However when you feel like you could die of hunger then I guess it’s an option!

This is the first food we tried in London. Since we were looking for good food that was cheap, we discovered Mr. Wu which offers buffet. The food was good as it was pleasing to my palate. Place was very compact and crowded. But this one was a nice place for budget travelers like us.
Paul Fay (PR)
A horrobil dinner, we could not eat anything from the buffet! The meat was bad, the spring rolls dry and it was all in all to expensive. Do not eat there!
Ana Ramos
Amazing food, for 5£ you can eat a box full of delicious food, they even give you a fork and a napkin! :) I regret I didn't took pictures, but it was delicious and I was hungry

:p eheheh

Variety is a spice of life. Mr Wu will prove that right. The best ever buffet I've had. For ten pounds you can eat your heart out. Pork in abundance, ribs, duck, beef, chicken, spring rolls, dumplings. Everything you can imagine. Will definitely become a regular here.courteous staff. Wine goes really well with the meal.

Yes I do like it. Hi I was in London on August 2013 and I used to have dinner here for almost five times. I was walking wardour Street when I saw this place and I got in to supper. The restaurant is small I know, although there is another floor upstears but I enjoed my meal very very much. Besides I only paid less than pounds and in London is not easy to pay so cheap. I go if i return to London the food is good and the manager was friendly too.

Mr wiliams. Atrocious food wouldn't give it to the dog
Jessica
Went there yesterday - Mr Wu is a small place however adds to the atmosphere. The food options are limited to 8-10 dishes but tasted amazing. Staff really friendly.

Great value. Not a huge selection,no expensive furniture but it's £5.50 a head for the buffet,so what do you expect. We go into London quite often and Mr Wu's is a place we like to call in before a few beers...................and the staff haven't been rude to us

Worst customer service ever, REFUSED TAP WATER. Walked into this very small restaurant with £5.50 buffet offer (On 2nd jan 2013). Really dirty place and dirty cutlery. Less than 8options for food which tasted nothing near to chinese. Their soup was just boiled water with raw stir fry vegetables. Refused to serve tap water and when asked; the manager was very rude, nearly aggressive by putting his hand almost into my friend's face. He was very arrogant and the staff didn't speak any english, they just used signs when called. I would personally never recommend this restaurant neither i would ever go there again.

WORST Restaurant in London?! DOES NOT serve tap water!. Walked into this small confined restaurant, due to the surprisingly cheap £5.50 buffet menu on offer. This buffet consisted of 7 different options, all of which tasted despicable. The rice was dry, and the beef was overcooked.

On top of this, they refused to serve tap water!! And charged £1.30 for a 250ml glass of juice or bottle water. The Manager was an arrogant rat of a man, and none of the other staff spoke any communicable english.

I will not return to the worst restaurant (if you could call it that) I have ever been in.

Last Night's Meal June 2012. We have dined out several times at Mr Wu's over the past few months when having a trip to London. The food is surprisingly good for just under £5 a head. It is a buffet affair which includes freshly made soup. The chicken wings are cooked in an irresistible tempura batter, beef is succulent, the cooked vegetables are fresh, not frozen. You can have egg fried rice, noodles, or even chips to go on the plate. Customers may have another plate, which is very generous. I have noticed that some people are plain greedy and put things on the plate they do not touch or pick at and leave much of the seconds. I think this restaurant should be at liberty to charge for uneaten food as some other buffet places currently do. Recommended! *****

'All You Can Eat' are easily my four favourite words in the English language. 'Hugh you look fabulous' and 'Cocktails are on me' come close, but it's the invitation - though I'll admit I tend to interpret it more as a challenge than an offer - to scoff as

It's just an ok ok kind of restaurant.. cheapest buffet In central London.. average service and acceptable food.. and they won't accept cards ONLY CASH SPEAKS...
Dips
This buffet consisted of 7 different options, all of which tasted despicable.

The rice was really dry, the chicken and beef dishes were overcooked and the noodles had a burnt aftertaste.

The vegetable soup was not very pleasant at all and the vegetable were undercooked and it lacked any real flavour.

Price is cheap at approx 6/7 pounds for the – but you really do get what you pay for... terrible atmosphere, poor quality of foods

NB – be prepared to be charged for tap water.
George Potts
The cheapest and (from my experience) the worst of the Chinatown restaurants. £5 for an all you can eat Chinese buffet is unbeatable in central London, and after having eaten there I see there's a reason for this. Unless you're going to Chinatown purely in order to gorge for as long as possible with no quality standards, I would recommend that you avoid this place and go elsewhere. The service is average, the range of foods limited and the quality substandard. Pay an extra £5 and upgrade to another Chinatown haunt.
