Very nice place to eat english breakfast. The space is very cozy, and we didn't spend time waiting for food! Very good location! A place to visit again Carolina Da Maia Monteiro Pedro Miguel Silvestre
It has been a few months since i've been in this coffeeshop. I loved it!! The atmosphere, the light music through the shop. The food was fantastic, although i couldn't try everything!
It is really an inviting place to go after getting around the nothing hill market, a must try!
The perfect cure after those 'eventful' nights where all you want when you awake is to be surrounded by every type of breakfast food imaginable. Welcome to Kitchen & Pantry in Notting Hill...
Lovely coffee, awesome brownies, nothing more you can ask for on a chilly afternoon. The comfy of the attitude and the 'cool' atmosphere makes it the perfect rest spot while on a stroll around in this area.
This is a very good cafe near the Notting Hill. The view from the cafe is good and the ambiance is very relaxing. We ordered a Carrot Cake and Brownie with walnuts and both were amazing to taste. They were not too sweet and were perfectly baked. The service was also very good and efficient. It has free Wi-Fi zone also.
We happened to find this place by chance and were pleased to. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to make sure that everyone is comfortable and having a good tome. The lunch menu is simple and light, nothing to heavy and fills you up just right. Everything tasted wonderful too , the portions enough to fill you up.
I had checked out this place when out with my walking club mates.
My experience here was quite alright. The interiors are nice but the seating arrangement not that excellent. In fact i happen to think that this place is unsuitable for large groups.
The menu has a range of dishes appropriate for lunch or a quick snack. It also houses some great selection of innovative soups, coffee and cakes as well. The food though is quite tasty, the portion size too small.
The staff here was limited, busy and were not amicable.
Another area they need to work on is their singular toilet which has long queues lining up in front of it!
I happen to stay very close to this place and absolutely love it! The seating area outside is incredible and the dishes here are very delicious, especially the crepes and snacks. I have tried the breakfast here and found the juices to be amazing. However, the staff is quite a disappointment and the Wi-Fi does not work properly here, otherwise, I highly recommend this place.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough for its delicious food and the amazing ambiance. We had ordered the chicken wrap which was filling and flavorsome. The desserts are a must try too. The portion sizes are more than generous so be careful while ordering. The staff is not very friendly though.
When I visited this place, I ordered a jacket potato for the first time. Believe me people, I haven't even heard of it before coming here but I have to say that it was a baked potato and really better than what some of the restaurants have on offer. I also had chicken and mushroom that came with a cream sauce and salad. The other person with me ordered sweet potato and I got to try it also. I need to mention that it was quite delicious. For the dessert, I ordered mocha which was well made that is not too creamy and with the right amount of chocolate.
I really like the interior here , it is filled with awesome wooden chairs, the sofa is very comfortable.
They had a lot of options to choose from , that what you want to eat.
I had sweet potato and roasted veg and cheese and everything and it was perfectly cooked.
I really loved everything here.
The atmosphere here is always lively, however, it may be very crowded at times and you may find it difficult to get a table. The location though is quite a convenient one. I had chicken and also tried a variety of other dishes. The food was an absolute delight and overall, I had a very nice experience. I also recommend you to give this place a visit.
Came to the Kitchen and Pantry more for convenience than anything else. Was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of options on the menu to choose from and each of them was quite delicious and tempting. The carrot cake and bacon were heavenly. Surprised it isnt rated higher
I had orange ginger juice and must say it was quite a delicious one though the sausages were pretty average. The décor was quite nice with some very comfortable seating. The staff was amiable and the service was quite good. I might suggest you to this place a visit when you are around.
To begin with ambience , lovely location, very enticing and welcoming aura, warm place !
We selected Breakfast Menu, they offer wide selection i would say, fresh tonic juices , decent coffee and quite sufficient alfresco seating so perfect on warmer days.
The staff is efficient but a little cold and hostile! Otherwise a nice place!
This restaurat is located conveniently in the area of Notting Hill where you will find people from all walks of life walking in to have a great time. Lively as it seems, this place is a true charmer. With almost every possible breakfast dis on the menu, one feel spoilt for choices when deciding on what to order.
A perfect cure for those looking for a fun place!
I stumbled upon Kitchen & Pantry looking for somewhere to relax and have a cuppa after exploring Portobello Market, and I'm glad I did! There's a convivial atmosphere and quirky style to the place and it serves, among other things, a variety of coffees, fresh fruit juices and even ice cream! The staff were very friendly and I'd definitely go back. I only had coffee and juice, but I know they serve food too.
Pros:
Great atmosphere
Great range of products
Friendly staff
Cons:
Internet is a bit expensive. You have to get a new voucher every half hour or so.
Walking around Notting Hill and visiting the Portobello market are two of my treasured pastimes when am in London. The last time I had just concluded a small shopping rendezvous and wanted to grab a bite to eat someplace new but close. Asked the helpful girl at the shop I was at to suggest a place that would work well and she told to me try Kitchen and Pantry. Bless her for that! I think KP has another outlet at Chiswick.
Kitchen and Pantry claims to ‘get it right every time’ as far as coffee is concerned – I happily discovered that might work for a few other notables from their menu.
I ordered a BAKED SWEET POTATO, a CHICKEN MUSHROOM CREPE and a HOT CHOCOLATE – I know this is a strange mix but that’s what I felt like picking at that hour. The BAKED POTATO was heaven – huge serving of one large sweet potato baked to perfection inside its jacket with a sinful drizzle of herbs & butter. The CREPE was divine with a wonderful part chunky part creamy filling. The coffee was MOCHA – their version has it as an espresso with hot chocolate topped with frothy creamy milk. The coffee mug was big and the serving generous. I wish to desperately plough through their well-appointed breakfast menu as well.
Its atmosphere is excellent – lovely leather sofas, interesting movie posters on the walls, oak tables, use of a trademark green that indicates more than just a choice in colour. They have seating both inside and outside. It has a wi-fi service you can avail of as well - but it is a paid facility I think. They actively encourage you to treat it as a coffee shop where you get your book/laptop/newspaper and lounge nicely in some precious moments of alone time – and giving you company is their coffee and eatables. I know I can never go to Portobello market without catching a quick date with self at Kitchen and Pantry. I hope you do too.

Adorable little café. I loved the coffee, the location of course (just next to Portobello Road and market), and the place itself. I saw young people studying and relaxing, old people having a chat, etc. The staff were nice and the bathroom clean. Everything perfect. Prices are like any other coffee places in London and in such good locations like this, so they are worth the price. I will definitely come back here when I'm around.
Nice stop off when visiting Portobello Road especially if you can get a table outside.
Good coffee and snacks and a great place to watch the world busily passing you by whilst taking a bit of time out.
Full English breakfast and fresh juice were good! Those tables outside that get too much sun the metal is scolding hot
To be honest, we needed to visit the toilet and this seemed to be a nice place to settle down and settle down we did to a lounge sofa but the normal chairs are more comfortable. I had a coffee and a muffin which was full of blueberries and heated up in a microwave. It was nice and for those chasing ice cream, there are several choices to select from.
Amazing atmosphere and family friendly. The service is excellent and the staff are always smiling which really uplifts the whole experience. I always visit when I'm with my sister and her twin daughters, we both feel so comfortable and not to mention they cater for most diets.
Lively food and great service. They accidentally cleared away my half eaten lunch when I had gone to the toilet but replaced with no issue.
On an eco note, they do use plastic pod machine for tea which feels unnecessary and not environmentally friendly. They seem to manage coffee from grounds, I wonder why they have made the choice of a tea machine.
Before K&P, this was the location of my favorite toy store as a kid. Then as I got older it became my favorite coffee shop. Its been a great hideaway to do my studying or to bring first dates. The coffee is ok, staff are good and if you're lucky, you might spot a celebrity or two. There is free WiFi but you're limited to an hour each time...
Great place not just to grab a coffee, but to spend so time in. Whether that be to have a conversation or to work, this is a nice cafe with a good selection of coffee, smoothie and soft drinks. Breakfast, light meals and snacks. Free wifi but it's not very fast and you need to renew your connection every half an hour or so ( not a big a deal, just go through the login window again when it pops up)
Best place to eat! Best service, nice people!
