I always seem to be ducking into the Cafe Delice when it's lashing down. It's well worth a visit in any weather. Excellent coffee, pastries and cheerful, friendly staff. I write for a living and the cafés back room is fine choice for a quiet corner.
A little unexpected oasis in the high road Chingford ,fresh healthy wraps, baguettes ,pannini's with trimings ,a good selection of salads ,and drinks.
Dont be put off if it looks small from the outside becouse it has a conservatory seating area and a lovely hidden garden suntrap in the warmer weather.
Just a quick stop for a cup of coffee and a short rest. Stayed a little longer than I meant to. Excellent coffee and very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely cafe.
