I come here a lot and never had a bad experience. The shisha is superb, the food is delicious and the view is the best you're going to find. All this is underpinned by fantastic staff who are very friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Amazing place! I must say that myself and Jackin Furia are one of the regular customers there. Every time we go we are treated very well. Service is very good, food as well. The Shisha is great! A special thanks to Lukeman and all the guys working there for the respect they are showing to us. ��

Don't know why people complain so much about this place! You are being informed about the 2 hour max stay durinf busy periods. It even says in the menu!! Had a good time and will be back again!!
I'm from Dubai and that says a lot when I say that this place truly reminded me of home. The food did, atleast. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and the hot chocolate along with pan kiwi sheesha and pink lemonade sheesha. The Shawarmas are the best I've had in London so far - I didn't realize how much I missed the typical garlic sauce (Thoum) I can definitely vouch for everything else on the menu, people were ordering things and they just looked so good I would have ordered them myself but the shawarma was pretty filling. The hot chocolate was amazing which was perfect for the cold London weather. I think although that the sheesha could be a little better - the coal died too fast and no one was bothered to change it as often. Pink lemonade wasn't that good of a flavor also. But definitely you should go for the food and drinks!
Went there for lunch with my mates and ordered their chicken sandwich, hummus with chilies and chocolate shakes.
The food was good and so were the shakes. The lemon mint juice wasn't that great and could have been better.
Service is OKAY and views from this place are good as well. This is not your regular road side joint where you'll find people smoking the pipe away.
Just remember, next time.. Either have a waiter tell me the minimum order or have a thing placed in the front. Don't have your waiter run to me to welcome me and instead tell me the minimum spend is whatever. That's just cheap and will definitely make me think twice if I want to revisit.
Must try: Hummus with chillies
Damage: ~60 quid for tea, shakes, food, and their main item x 2.
Go again: Yes. If they serve better.
Great place for Shisha, with an amazing view of Canary Wharf. This place would be ideal on a warm summers night.
However, numerous dishes on the menu were just average. Actually everything we ordered was just okay.
We tried the following:
Haloumi Cheese
Tandoori Mixed Grill
Lamb Biriyani
Garlic and Peshwari Naans
Mixed Meat Hummus
Mutton Tikka
Oreo Milkshake
And a few other things that were completely useless I can't even remember.
I would therefore recommend to stick with Shisha and tea :)
However I do believe they have a BYOB policy as they do not serve alcohol! That's always good!
Visited this place after a friend of mine recommended this place to me. I did not really expect a lot out of this place but to my surprise, this place turned out to be amazing. The ambiance is brilliant and very exciting. The decor is pretty fancy and exquisite. The pricing as per the food served is cheap and the food served is amazing. If you are looking for a place to chill with your friends then this place won't fail to amaze you. Recommended.
I have been a regular customer of this place for quite a long time now. The place has improved since its introduction and amazes me with its good quality of food and service. I found the staff to be very polite, quick and efficient. The place is always busy and that speaks volumes about its popularity. The Indian and lebanese cuisine offered here is great! Definitely recommended.
Visited this place before and was bowled over by the delicious ice creams and incredibly mouthwatering flavors. Came back to try a new flavor yet again. They are extremely creative and every flavor is a reflection of it. I would definitely recommend there paan and kiwi in 20:80 ratio.The staff is welcoming and atmosphere inviting. A must visit!
This place has been really improved in terms of the variety as well as the quality offered for their shishas. This is a great place to chill along with your friends. The starters that we ordered along with it were really appealing and appetizing. I would highly recommend this place to every one!

its very funny reading the reviews on this place and it makes no sense how some people can fault this place. I have visited this establishment many of times and have never had a problem with it. Being from catering side family of my own and now running restaurants globally i know how hard it can be, you can never please everyone. Me and my wharf bankers are a regular at this place whenever i am in the city, always get great food and shisha. Yes i agree with some comments on staff however when i went on Thursday 18th April i did see some massive changes and a much improved staff also additional staff.....
People need to understand that it is a new place and it takes time for workers to settle in. I really hope the best to the owner in this place and i did want to congratulate you my self however, the staff said you would be arriving later. Never mind once i am back from Monaco i will try and meet you.
My friends and i are now a regulars at temple lounge and have to agree that the service WAS questionable. However in its defense i think it was just a case of staff finding their feet with it being a new place. Recently I noticed more staff, i guess to tackle the service issues and the place is now a delight. The menu for both shisha and food is exceptional so we never get bored when visiting 2/3 times a week. The place always seems to be busy so I pre book to avoid waiting for a table.
I went the other day, and thought it was the best!

This restaurant definitely has got beginners luck which seems to overshadow the fumbling and bumbling service and food!
We managed to land on bad day - a Friday night with a group of 12 and had to put up with a wait of over 1 hour. Eventually we managed to squeeze in a place (literally). Compared to sheesha places in Edgeware road, this place is a bargain - where else would you get to smoke a sheesha costing 15 for 2-3 hours with almost regular coal changes, that too on a crowed night. That coupled with a novelty factor in canary wharf explains why this place is ALWAYS packed - I have seen this place doing brisk business when the other 5-6 pubs next door are completely empty.
The food took considerable time to come but it was tasty without doubt. By the time it came, the boys we insatiable, the food was not enough. We wanted to order more but guess what, the waiter said that they are not accepting any more orders because they had a long queue in kitchen! We were leaving when the owner came to ask how did we like and when we told him the story, he got us to give our order. A stupid mistake alas, another 1 hour wait and this time we could make out that there indeed there was a rush in kitchen, the food was part cooked to fulfil all orders
I agree with Leo.....albeit there were teething issues when the place first opened....
the food and shisha are spot on.....service has improved and I'm in there 3/4 times a week with plenty of wharfers.......you should definitely give it another chance as you've probably been very unlucky with the bad experience or are extremely difficult to please ;)
i thought it was bloody amazing! shisha was excellent and food fresh. do not know what the last two people are on about. i walk past it everyday and see that is busy everyday, must be doing something right!
Have been comping to Temple for years, they’ve definitely improved the infrastructure and modernised the place. They even have TVs showing sports! Shisha is good and the staff are attentive for coal changes etc. They do have a minimum spend per person which can catch you off guard depending on what you’re there to do! Food can be a little greasy sometimes and they occasionally have kitchen issues however the dessert is always great. Great location as not many Shisha places like this nearby.
Such a gorgeous lounge ! Food was yummy! Customer service was exceptional. Every member of staff served me with a smile on their face ! My strawberry daiquiri was so tasty! Overall 10/10 and the decor was beautiful, had a really lovely experience ! Thank you temple lounge !
Temple Lounge is the ideal place for food and relaxing by docklands beautiful views. Serving halal food and a huge range of lebanese and indian dishes. Outdoor heated seating for around 100 people. Close to Canary Wharf Station. An NCP carpark nearby, or there is an Odean Cinema nearby you can park there.
A comprehensive menu, plenty of choice and very tasty food. Once you have enjoyed your meal, you can order from a range of Shisha's and chill out. A nice place to relax in the evening and soak up the amazing atmosphere.
This will be become a favourite.

For the best shisha and service in Canary Wharf, look no further. Temple lounge is a comfortable shisha lounge, located by the water, with a fabulous view of the skyscrapers. The menu is inexpensive and the service is great. We had a nice time with mates.
My friend ordered the chicken puri wrap which was delicious! Ambience is nice and it's the heaters make you feel cosy. Some of the dishes weren't as good as others but overall we enjoyed our visit.
Frozen blueberry & raspberry shisha, very good. First time here, decor is nice & comfy. But a little chilly coz its windy.

Temple has always been one of my favourite spots in the whole of London to be honest and because its so under rated and underground l will call it actually l dont think it gets enough props. First situated in one of the best picturesque places ever Canary Wharf you're surrounded by breathtaking tall building encapsulated around what l would refer to as a Marina. If you've ever been to Dubai ld say this location has that similar feel, a world outside of the world ontop of water. Such a lovely place to take a walk,go into Canary Wharf's mall, or check out their restaurants and bars. Temple lounge is Middle Eastern and if you like shisha this is your spot because ideally you can only sit at their restaurant if you're getting Shisha which by the way is fantastic at Temple. They use your good quality shisha flavours Al Fakher and Star Buzz and do cocktails of the flavours to hit your taste buds just right. It is a no alcohol serving restaurant but don't be too alarmed you can bring your own alcohol at a charge. The mixed grills are always a great hit with the meat made so tenderly and succulently and if you're a seafood fan like myself you have to try the Prawn Mixed grill or something along the lines just show them picture below and the meat one that my partner had was the Arabic mixed grill. With the BYO(bring your own) policy you need to spend min of £20 each person and in general to sit and eat at the restaurant as a whole the minimum spend is £12.50 per person. Overall if you're looking for a lovely spot especially in summer you have to experience Temple Lounge!
We’ve been coming here for 8 years and it’s still one of our favourite shisha lounges in London. Surprised at some of the low reviews - we’ve always enjoyed the food and had good service here. Some people seem to have complaints about prices - I think they’re fine for a restaurant in Canary Wharf, but if that’s a concern for you then just ask to see the menu before sitting down.
Best Mojito in town, i really liked the strawberry one. Customer service was great. The place is clean and their shisha was amazing. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Have to spend £20 per person to take your own alcohol. I would recommend, buying a mocktail and adding your own alcohol to it.
It's affordable, only downfall is that it's cash only!
Wish it closed later like the hookah venues on edgeware road.
The toilets are not appealing.
