Lousy service but good sushi. Hidden away behind the Grange City hotel near Tower Hill, at first glance you don't expect great things from this unassuming little Japanese restaurant. If you can ignore the haphazard service and avoid ordering from the menu (dull noodles and soups), then you can focus on what this place does very well indeed: conveyor belt sushi and sashimi, ice cold Japanese beers and green tea. Always packed at lunchtime, it now also offers an 'all you can eat' sushi deal after 17:00 which is great value.

Favourite London Restaurant So Far... £17 for all you can eat sushi. It might not be the kind of thing that appeals at first sight, but when it's sighted in a 5 star hotel, in The City and full of Japanese people (who know a thing about sushi I hear) what could be wrong with it? Serves a good selection of cold Japanese beers and has a good view of a section of the London City Wall. Inside the Grange hotel, round the corner from the Thames, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Highly recommended for meals with friends or colleagues.

We stopped in for a night cap and stayed for more. Ethan was SPECTACULAR and took care with our drinks while optimizing for our taste. He was engaging with great conversation and AMAZING COCKTAILS! Go out of your way to visit and you will not be disappointed. We will be there every night we are in town!

Splendid time at the hotel (Leonardo London City) and the associated restaurant (Leo’s). The staff (Danas in particular) and the menu was fantastic.

This is a cozy bar with decent food and excellent cocktails and service. The patio sits right next to an old Roman/Medieval city wall.

Didn't order off belt - looked less than interesting. Delicious gyoza. Huge plate of delicious sashmini, not cheap but loads for the price. Extremely quiet and quite tricky to find.

Quiet restaurant inside a posh hotel, with all-you-can-eat sushi on a conveyer belt, plus miso soup, gyoza and a bottle of water for the reasonable price of £31. A little hidden gem.

Conveyor belt Japanese restaurant, the hot food is good although the udon noodle stir fry was a bit oily. The dumplings were very nice

Intimate conveyer sushi and tempura, for excellent food in nice setting, a short walk from the beaten track.
