Italian celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo launched his restaurant chain called My Pasta Bar in 2013 and it is certainly one of my most favorite lunch spots. Every time I walk into the shop, the aroma of homemade pasta sauce and freshly baked pizza completely hits me and just turns me into an exciting kid anticipating for food. The menu is pretty straightforward – there are all the classical pasta dishes there as well as several al forno options, risottos, and pizza. You get to pick your own choice of pasta when you order the pasta dishes. There are also paninis, soups, and salad available if you fancy something lighter.
+ Freshly made pasta
- Not so great pasta
+ Tomato soup was hot and thick
+ The diet coke and Tiramisu (which isn't bad) cost only a quid more
- Rickety chairs
+ My meal cost 12.5 quid for eating in
