The Captains Table - London - Photo album

This is probably the best fish and chip shop I have visited. The cod is enormous and crunchy. The chips are tasty and oily. The hot wings were spicy, and the doner was okay. I had 30 minutes for fresh cod, and it was well worth it.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, always got a smile to their face regardless what time you go and visit. I've been going there for many years now and the food never ever disappoints. The portions are really generous. The thigh pieces are to die for.. chips friend to perfection with lots of
Enjoy the fish & chips from the shop. Really generous portions. The kebabs are also really nice. The staff are friendly as well.
Halal Turkish fish and chips. We got the mixed donner and chips with some wings. Boss gave us some extra batter fried potatoes to try out for free! Really good service from the 2 guys behind the counter as they asked us how we each wanted our donner. They even put sauce on the chips and then put the
The food is excellent and the service is second to none. I left my wallet one day and the owner of the shop allowed me to take the food without paying and has told me to pay on another day. Really amazing! Thank you
If you want proper traditional English fish and chips this is a great place. Have been going there since I was a kid and they used to do 50p chip cone. Can barely afford 3 wings and chips nowadays but still very nice. Miss the lady who owned this place, she was the only who could salt and vinegar it
Got myself a large cod, chips and a tub of curry sauce, was great and the size of that cod... omg it’s huge
Good food, decent prices, quick to serve as well. They also do fat chips which is very hard to find these days!
Great fish and chips shop, they also do kababs and chicken. I like the chicken wings. The guy at the counter is really friendly and super fast, you can see how much he cares about the customers. The queue is out of the shop a lot of the time but it moves fast. I have been going here for the past cou
We come here now and again to get good old fish and chips and they also do a decent quarter pounder burgers. Wings are nice and quite unique and might suit certain taste buds. Quite a convenient place for locals I imagine.

I don't ever leave reviews but this place was legit. Staff were really nice and the hot wings were the best I think I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back again
Best Fish and Chips in east London, this includes their Kebabs and chicken and chips. They are always fresh and the taste is amazing, they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service.
Friendly service, been coming here for 20+ years. Fish and chips always perfect! Hope they stay here for many many more years. Absolutely essential for locals. Only complaint is they are closed on Sunday. 😭
