I am so disappointed from this place. I went today to get dinner at 18:30. Long waiting queues to order because 9 out of 10 people were ordering loads of drinks. After 20 mins of waiting, it was my turn to order. Half of the menu items were finished and I finally ordered the cheese & bacon burger.
Happy happy! The fish pie and salad was nice went on a Monday and it was 50% off the bill which was even better. The decor and atmosphere was busy but welcoming. Deffo a return spot.
Came here on a Sunday morning for a brunch. There was only one waitress and it was very quiet. Got ourselves a brunch. Food was alright, wouldn't say I'll go looking to come here for it again though.
Average meals for brunch and a generous cup size for teas and coffees. Decent atmosphere with good service.
The staff were very slow in pouring drinks at the bar, the guy was quite lazy and rude, I had to repeat my order three times. Other than that the music was ok and just about managed to find two seats.
On a very wet Saturday, the pub was very inviting. Despite being very under staffed the 2 members of staff serving kept calm and were very friendly and polite providing excellent service despite the difficulties. Big queues formed for the 2 for 1 cocktails but generally people didn't seem to mind a
spacious, bright and beautiful. It does not have great selection of beers but it's fine
Despite the fact it was really quiet when we got here for Sunday lunch, which is a good thing, you'd expect the service to be top notch but it wasn't. We had to ask for cutlery after our food arrived, cutlery was missing, the men's toilets had no loo roll anywhere and one of the cisterns was complet
