I regularly walk the Cancer Research UK Night Shine and make an effort to visit the Canada Water Cafe for a bite to eat before the walk starts.
Food is excellent, and everyone is very friendly.
It's very laid back and the perfect place to have a nice relaxed meal before walking 26 miles!

I'm surprised about the recent bad reviews. I have been coming here since it opened and always enjoy it - good atmosphere, great coffee and tasty food. I also love their sister venue, Plough Way Café. I would recommend the brunch menu and evening pizza menu! �
Big shout out to Marcos - my boyfriend and I thought he was great when we visited for an after work cocktail and bruschetta on Thursday evening. He was really friendly and good at his job! �

So perfect! Wonderful Italian food beautifully cooked and served in a rustic environment with a fantastic atmosphere. I love this place and my fussy nine year old eat every scrap of his adult size pizza!

We had a great time and a delicious dinner with our friends here. The starters, the pizzas and the desserts were all delicious, and the waitresses (Federica & Camille) super nice, as well. Gonna visit again for sure!

I visited this cafe/ restaurant for lunch on a Thursday in mid September 2023.
This place is popular as it has good service and it's lunch menu is more than akin to a restaurant rather than a cafe. The food served was well tasting and made on the day (unfortunately I have had restaurants in the area attempting to serve microwaved food from the day before).
The staff were friendly and even the payment of the bill was a breeze.
I highly recommend this cafe/ restaurant as the top place in the vicinity of Canada Water Station.
My suggestion is also if you are going for lunch to arrive by 12.30pm to avoid the place being full.
We love this place! We come at least once a week to enjoy the great food and the friendly and familiar atmosphere. A special thanks to Simone, Federica and Carmelo for making Canada Water Cafe such an enjoyable experience.

The service is superb, really kind and helpful staff, they made every guest welcome. Food was great too, even had gluten free ( only for intolerance) vegetarian and vegan options. The only thing you should know before you plan to eat there, on the Weekends they only have Brunch/Breakfast until 5pm. Pizzas and other main courses are served after 5. It's based on the general demand and the fact that they have a small kitchen and can either do one or the other. I had a 'vegetarian breakfast' (Brunch) was nice. Coffee was perfect too. Clean and tidy Café.
Lovely wee cafe - met a friend here with her baby for a breakfast catch up and they were kid friendly, had a lovely atmosphere, made a great coffee, and had changing facilities for baby in the bathroom.
Also very close to the station so easy to access. Would definitely go back.
Lovely, fresh homemade food and plenty of veggie and vegan options. My companion and I were both impressed by the quantity and quality of our meals (pizza and veggie-burger). Staff are friendly and efficient and both the indoor and outdoor spaces were attractive and inviting.
We came to eat brunch, and the service may well've been the best I've ever had. All of the staff were incredibly well mannered and they just knew whenever we needed something. On top of the amazing food here this definitely deserves all 5 stars I'm giving it
We had the most amazing lunch at Canada Water Cafe on Saturday. I couldn’t fault the service nor the staff. We were made to feel so welcome and the food and drinks - as in all 4 courses - were delicious! and fantastic value for money. You have to go! But be sure to book in advance. You will not be disappointed! 🙂
We absolutely LOVE this spot - one of the only places in London we come to repeatedly & rely upon. Friendly service, a dependable yet simple menu and a good evening every single time. Could not recommend more :)
One of my favourite Italian places. They can definitely do better with kitchen opening times and bookings but really good service in overall! Cosy atmosphere and friendly stuff.

However, the service is quite slow. The food is yummy and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I went here for breakfast and it had an array of selections. I bought halloumi avocado and the British breakfast. The raspberry croissant was also soft and fluffy

Delicious food. Really great with responding to queries about allergies and really proactive in identifying foods that individuals with allergies could and couldn't have. The best place I've ever been in terms of being informative about allergies.
Have been coming here for years. Have had smaller tables with my husband for lunch and dinner and with a big group of friends we’ve sat both inside and outside. It’s a beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. Menu changes regularly, there’s always good veggie options and both coffee and desserts are delicious. Nice outdoor seating with heaters
Had the Prima Taglioni with Mussels and it was absolutely incredible. My partner had a pizza which was equally amazing, we shared the cheesecake with mixed berry on too and it was brilliant. Would highly recommend!
Had a very nice pizza and a mixed salad for a nice light dinner. The service was courteous and quick and the house red is good.
