I had a good meal there, it’s nice to get the Asian twist on simple deep fried chicken shops. Price might be a bit high but you do get the quantity. The aubergine starter was amazing too, although it might be a bit salty on its own. I almost want a bowl of rice to go with it.

There are a few of these around London, and they're some of my favourite restaurants. Good fried chicken burgers and a great selection of cocktails. It's pretty mid-range price wise, likely to cost in the £30 range per-person with a cocktail. The music here is loud, so it's not a great place for a date, but good for a night out with friends. It's fairly new to upper street (opened September 2018) so it's their newest location - give it a try!

If you've had the pleasure of eating at either of the other two chick n sours sites, (haggerston or seven dials), then youll have a jist what to expect. These guys have mastered fried chicken, and by tweaking the menu over recent months are sure to keep you on your toes again. The venue has their hallmark all over it, trendy cool atmosphere with a laid back vibe. The food again is on point, must try is the chicken toast!!! This is the place to go, for groups or that date you've been building yourself up for. Congratulations to David & Carl, and all their team, you've done it again 🙏🏼♥️

We’re lucky to get one of two tables outside in the evening sun. The service was really friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - really tender chicken and flavoursome sauces. Been to their Hagerstown branch too where we had similar experiences. Solid :)

I had a great time very nice chicken and great drinks all in all a very good night. My waiter Ryan was also part of the package as he was a very warm presence and very friendly. In conclusion I had a great time and highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking to have a good night out.

We were seated straight away despite not having a reservation. We ordered the watermelon pickles, both fries (dripping and crack), chicken tenders and the Seoul destroyer burger. Service was great and we got to order straight away. My burger was delicious, the chicken was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside... HOW IT SHOULD BE! I thought that the fries were okay, I didn't think anything special about them. The gochujang mayo dip was really nice with the fries. I don't know what to think about the pickles, they were different to all the pickles I've ever had but now with summer coming to, I feel inspired to keep back the watermelon rinds to pickle!

Was interested to see a new chick n sours open up closer to me, so stopped on my way home to grab a takeaway bag. Probably ended up overordering in my enthusiasm and took in a cocktail at the bar while I waited. Food was excellent, across the board. I've been obsessed with fried chicken for a while now and been going around all the places marked as the "best" in London. This wins hands down for me of the dozens I've tried so far. Chicken was excellent, coating sublime and the pickles cut through the fried food so it never felt heavy. Drinks are excellent too. The fish sauce wings are great, though you'll definitely need a wipe or rinse down after.

The shin cup fries are so good, they come with spring onion and mayo mixed with shin cup flavouring. The house fry was bad, the chicken is way too crispy and bland, but at least it was cooked well. The thigh was a bit gross though, it leaked loads of fat as soon as I picked it up. The green slaw had way too much dressing, couldn't taste the vegetables. The pickled cucumbers also had way too much dressing. The spicy fish sauce chicken wings were pretty good, but also a bit too crispy. I didn't think "too crispy* was possible but this is crazy, it's like the chicken is coated in cookie or something. Service was really friendly and loved then cocktails. Shin cup fries were the best bit by far.

Came on a Sunday night for the whole fried chicken, and wasn't disappointed. Slightly on the pricier side at £30 for the chicken, but it comes with 2 sides- ask if you can get the shin cup fries or the dripping fries as one of the sides. The Schezuan aubergine was also pretty good! Attentive and friendly service as well.
