The choice of sandwiches is excellent. Lunch time is rather chaotic - there are three different counters and one long queue out the door. When you get to the front, someone catches your eye and you step forward and order. It’s loud and overwhelming but the food is worth it.
Otherwise just go for breakfast where you can get a full English sandwich with no queue at all.
Is this the best sandwich shop in London? Why no other reviews?
Not only are the sandwiches freshly made and there is a great selection of deli foods, but the prices are more than reasonable. Staff are friendly and efficient. Even though there are queues at lunchtime, service is quick. Beats the heck out of those national chains which although they have an acceptable product, are overpriced and not particularly interesting. Worth going out of your way for this one.
A classic City soup and sandwich place. Fair price with good lunch food. Poor layout for waiting for soup in one line, sandwiches in another line and salads in another one. Avoid between 1215 to 1315 if you hate waiting.
Toast was crispy and warm. Latte was better than most coffee chains. Would recommend their warm sandwiches
Great food place not only sandwiches and coffee, great salads with good choice. Would go again.

large slab of steak and cheese in fresh crusty bread heated up nicely - very good value
One of the City's not so hidden gems. Superb sandwiches, salads and soups.
Good food, but overpriced and chaotic.
Lovely Sandwiches - beats Pret hands down.
Always a good breakfast sandwich
Buen precio y calidad para ser Londres que es todo carisimo.
