Amazing and cute little cafe. They roast their coffee here and mill their flour on the other branch. Went to the london fields one and didnt realize this cafe is so much closer. Very family friendly. Has big space looks very comfortable for study or remote work. They also have fresh baked goods, zero waste stuff, I didnt realize they had maldon salt which I went to waitrose to gwt right after. They also have raw honey, organic eggs. Such a cute little gem 💕 the iced coffee was very strong, nice coffee.

Had the cinnamon roll and flatbread with eggs, its pretty decent but not my cup of tea. The taste of cinnamon in the roll felt like there was some fennel or other spice in it. Got a loaf of sourdough to go home too. Nice neighbourhood bakery near a quiet park, service is nice.

Just moved to this neighbourhood, I am so glad I found proper sourdough bread. The cafe has a great atmosphere, they also sell a lot other organic produce, eggs, oats, etc. No doubt I will become a regular!

Their bread is amazing! So chewy and soft inside and crusty outside. I’m not a bread person, but I cannot stop eating their bread. The coffee is good especially with their baked stuff. We had brunch and the dishes were all so tasty with good quality ingredients. It’s so nice to sit outside in the sunshine when the weather is nice and warm. I highly recommend it. They also have ingesting exhibitions on the wall.

It has fast become my goto local cafe. When friends visit we always end up here for a brunch or coffee. Lots of seating inside or out on picnic benches. Good location near the park and staff is always so sweet. Keep it up folks! Us locals love you!

My favourite local cafe. Great coffee, pastries and food as well as a lovely relaxed atmosphere for hanging out and working. I increasingly spend more and more time here and have been recommending it to all of my friends

A very good place with very nice scrambled eggs on toast but the weekend only week day we tried once soft eggs only not very soft then we were very disappointed. The menu is not huge but as long as it is well made and consistent that is fine the bread is excellent you get it sold here and there and different local shops.

Nice open space with outdoor sitting overlooking a park. The coffee is good, pastries look tasty, however the were out of vegan options in the afternoon.

E5 sourdough bread is number 1 in London, and I was so happy when I found they have a bigger cafe where we can set and eat. Their bread is the best in London, and I like there egg and halloumi bun taste really good and the cheese toast was okay. Their croissant and cinnamon bun are good as well. They have some good grocery options as well. The area where this cafe is open is nice as there is a playground near by so we can sit and enjoy our food and coffee while kids are playing. The only downside is the customer service, staff needs to be more friendly and service can be a bit faster.

What not to say?! The food is delicious and yummy. Their bread is flavorful and fresh and the pastries are mouthwatering especially the babka and pain au chocolate. Not only did I like the food but the place is magnificent and worthy. I do recommend it so much and my thanks for the staff for their work. Thank you for bringing this bakehouse to the neighbor.

Great space. High ceilings, bright, fresh food, and good coffee. Star docked for sub-par wifi.

Modern cafe in a great location adjacent to canal, park and playground. Accessible and very child/family/dog friendly too wi0th indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good quality and they do daily specials such as shakshuka and halloumi rolls. Very tasty. Sweet treats here are very good and freshly made too with plenty to choose from such as pastries, cakes and brownies etc. Definitely worth a visit. Worth noting they are into their zero waste philosophy here, so can buy things from their small shop inside (oats, beans etc), but it also means no takeaway cups. So if you want takeaway drinks remember your own mug!!! Only reason not 5 stars is due to my coffee tasting very bitter today (maybe some people like it that way?) but will happily go again.

Great place! Good coffee, food and pastry! Nice staff! Only 'downside' it's that sometimes the coffee machine closes too soon(2 pm) sometimes

A nice community space with plenty of seating. Although the London fields location is nicer, Poplar still has its own character. The cakes are a bit underwhelming especially for the price. I enjoyed the chickpea stew brunch though. I support e5's overall ethos of local and sustainable food.
