This is my famous and preferable chain for snacks. Their famous menu include pastries, bakes, sandwiches salads sweet treats etc. Freshly made and good for snacks. Chicken Bake and Cheese and Onion Pastry is one of my picks from the menu.
I once walked into Greggs at a time when I was running very late and needed to pick up something to eat on the go. After browsing quickly through the many variety of sandwiches I happened to see a new kind of sandwich. My general expectation from a typical London bakery is to find a BLT, ham&cheese etc kind of a spread. But the one peculiar one was chicken and mango chutney. I picked it up and it still is one of my most favourite sandwiches in the whole of London.
This place is fantastic. The staff are friendly always smiling and the service is brilliant.
The interior is really nice and the store is always clean.
I've had lunch here a few times. The Tuna rolls are good and have a good amount of tuna in them. Vegan sausage rolls and cheese and onion bake are a must and delicious!
I highly recommend this place.
Cheese and onion pasty. Love it. Always served hot and tastes really delicious. Vegan sausage roll wasn’t really to my taste but it was filling and I would eat it again.
Staff are friendly and work fast.
Store stocked up well, lots of sweet treats and sandwiches.
First time having Gregg’s the sausage rolls exceeded my expectations. Sausage was like good yummy sausage, and went great with the pastry. I will say, be careful cuz it’s hot.
It's a very lovely place to have a rest and enjoy so delicious food. So tasty and it's not only about pizza. And prices are very affordable.
So i definitely recommend you to visit this place!
Great customer experience in this Greggs at Lower Marsh today . Took my elderly mother in and Donna made a real fuss of her, making, her feel so welcome special and valued. Following stroke, my mother is wheelchair bound and these moments of instantaneous human kindness, have such an enormous impact. We have never been in there before and it was fantastic to experience. Great work Donna and thank you for making her week. A really good Team there at this Greggs. The shop was spotless and customer service first class!
If you are in the Waterloo area or close to Lower Marsh market then this is worthy visit. Being a Greggs the food is reliably the same good quality you found at other Greggs. Staff are friendly and even if you see a queue during the lunch period the service is fast.
Only drawback is that it can run out and you will have a 10min+ waiting for it to cook (not bad if you like it fresh from the oven) and sometimes items like the vegan sausage rolls and regular ones are not as warm due to there being a lot of batches and not being eaten. The mix of hot and tepid pastries can be disappointing as it does affect the taste.
Member of staff who served us was nice and patient. Food was nice. The only issue is, we believe we were given vegan sausage rolls rather than non-vegan. We only realised when we got home. Maybe it was put on the wrong shelf. But otherwise, a happy visit. We were able to sit down and eat inside which was nice too.
Always a nostalgic moment... Had my first Sausage roll in 1998... The taste of the sausage roll and the pasties is still consistent...

Popped in this Greggs on my latest trip to London, place was very well presented, ordered good old Sausage Roll and Pizza with a little cake for desert and sat in their seating area which considering the amount of customers i observed coming in and out was very tidy and clean, staff were polite and friendly and it was also nice to see overall experience was fantastic thank you.
Came in on Saturday 04/02. Donna was very friendly and went above n beyond to make sure everything was sorted. A valuable asset to the Lower Marsh Greggs team. Thank you
Very friendly a d helpful service. Vegan options.
Came in here for brunch with the missus a few days ago. What a treat. Had four sausage rolls and a cappuccino, all very fresh and reasonable too. A kind geezer gave us a muffin for free to boot. Don’t miss this greggs if you’re walking around Waterloo guys
