🚇 Stoke Newington 🍺 £5.90 Budvar ❤️ A laid back Stokey local. . Perched on a corner in a quiet residential street in N16 you’ll find The Prince. The nearest station is Stoke Newington Overground which a ten minute amble away. . The Prince or The Prince of Wales as it was first called, was built by C
Good overall, but burgers could be better. Especially the mushroom burger, it's just ONE big fried mushroom served with bread and greens (see picture). I would have expected an actual burger. Wouldn't order it again. Padron peppers were quite good. Nice seating area outside.
We had our last meal here in London before we had to catch our flight back home and it was a great way to end our vacation. The Sunday roast was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was good natured and professional. Highly recommend an outing here.
A surprising great roast in a beautiful pub that I would love to visit without rain, as the garden looked incredible!
Delicious Sunday roast. Great atmosphere too.
It’s a really cozy east london pub. Decent food, good atmosphere. The acoustics are terrible but just like most of the pubs. They screen sports events if you are in the mood for that.
Lovely pub, great atmosphere, the staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was expensive and not amazing, the burger was £11 and didn't even come with salad or chips... bit annoying and only had one vegan option
Lovely local pub. The staff are warm and helpful. You can sit here with a pint and a book or come with a group of friends. It always feel welcoming. Good pub food! And sometimes there's a pub dog 🐕 🥰
Good pub and good roast but a lot of the pork belly wasn't tasty/edible. The gravy was so generous; veggies excellent and service lovely. A super bloody mary and nice wine. Would recommend!
Glorious local - feels good, superb beer selection, great wine and amazing food. Sunday roasts are epic - among the best I've ever had in a pub. And service today was delightful - not just friendly and efficient, but really engaging.
Nice local pub with friendly staff, could do with better lighting in the back towards the garden as this is where we were sat but it felt quite dark and dingy. Food was good, portion sizes could be improved and standardised e.g one of us got more potatoes than the other (of which one was incinerated
Different beers and extended menu. I did not like the old meat burguer was smelling old but they offer to change it for a fish pie and was delicious
I’ve been twice. The first was a Sunday roast and it was great fun. The heavens opened up afterwards but not the pub’s fault. The second time was only yesterday (8th May 2023) for the Coronation bank holiday. Spirits were high, children running around, and I had a good ol’ laugh with the bartender
Great pub. Good atmosphere. Good location good beer and good food
Great Sunday lunch find! Had a warm local pub vibe. It always makes a difference when the gravy is made from scratch, along with homemade Yorkshire puddings!! The only thing I’d like more of is variety of veg. It’s great to see a pub full considering the times we are living in. You’ll be seeing me a
