Great pub with plenty of craft beer options available. Great pint too. Saturday evening and was not that busy. Sports showing on the televisions. Not a traditional pub feeling inside. Felt a mix between a pub/club, tables and floors a little sticky and not feeling the cleanest.
We were happy having a lovely pub opposite the hotel where we stayed on holiday. The place is old fashioned but quite cool. We did enjoy the night there.
Very nice pub. Friendly staff and tasty beer :) Atmosphere is top!
Traditional East End boozer in shabby chic, plenty of character with courtyard garden and multiple screens for the sports.
No nonsense menu of toasties and a varied line up of quality, well kept beers. Perfect for both the underground and York Hall - or as a late night weekend destination.
Good little bar, gets very busy during football games and has a great atmosphere. Staff are laid back, service is fast, they do their job well. I had my first pint in London at this bar and it was a great introduction to the city.
Best cheese toastie ever!
Popped in for a quick bite, but there was no food menu available (I believe they didn't have a chef). But were offering toasties... yummy yummy, highly recommended.
Friendly staff informed me that she use apple cheddar cheese and some other cheese, (sorry can't remember which).
Please don't stop making these...I love them 😍
Grungy, quirky pub, I remember it from years and years ago... local labour party pub then!
Decent pub, good aperol spritz! Good vibes on a Saturday night
Had a lovely late Saturday night drink there with my sons last weekend. Good service and very friendly locals.
A Sunday visit to catch the second half of the football. A lovely selection of ales and craft lagers. The toasties smelled delicious, although we didn't partake. A decent double act behind the bar who kept us informed and entertained.
The IPA is one of the best Pale Ales in London. Deep in the heart of historic East London.
Here is a pub with secreted DJ box. Neon signs point to an upstairs, which probably has it's own secrets.
Great and good furnishings wood flooring and panelled portraits. Lovely....
Good little boozer in Bethnal Green.
Generally only one real ale on tap at a time, but kept well. The little garden out at the back is nice for catching some sunshine on a rare warm day in London. The cheese toasties are expensive but extremely delicious.
On our way to the Viktor Wynd museum, we stopped here to enjoy a coffee (what a strange idea we had). The staff was very nice and friendly, we got our drinks seating in the main room, watching the old ceiling, the paintings hanging on the walls. We didn't try the beers (had too many before) but they have at least 3 craft beers at the bar.
A great pub. I went in when there was just 4 other customers and it still had a great atmosphere. Cute heated beer garden, decent beers great staff. Looks like it gets pumping on a weekend but to me thats not a bad thing!
A quiet Saturday lunchtime would have been quieter had West Ham not been entertaining Chelsea on BT Sport. Must have been 7 or 8 customers watching the game taking place just a couple of miles away.
The pub seems quite dilapidated but not without charm. Almost feels like it was abandoned for 20 years and someone found the key and opened up.
The keyholders seemed to be two young hipster types, friendly and keen to serve.
Without a well kept cask beer on (ELB Foundation) it probably wouldn't have registered more than 2 stars for me but the beer was decent.
A second handpump was serving cider out of a bag but I'm guessing most of their market is for keg craft beer and cheap lager.
They had a variety of cheese-based toasties on offer but I headed off after a couple of pints and a bag of nuts. Televised Premier League football was not enough to keep me sat there any longer.
Nice pub, lovely atmosphere and good beer, recommended if you want real ale, also has big screens showing sport, which may or may not be what you want.
Good beers and fabulous toasty. Manager was absolutely smashed from the night before but the lass that was working with him was a trouper and had his back which made me like my visit all the more. Good vibes.
Nice cosy pub. Some interesting eclectic décor towards the back.
