The best and original south Indian Biriyani in London. No one can beet this till now. In my 12 years of experiencing different tastes in London, I have discovered this Maamalas. Wow so tasty. You will never be disappointed. Wonderful smiling hospitality from Basker and Panneerselvam. Very professional. The restaurant is bit small but the taste is too big.
Prawn manjurian. Very delicious food and also varieties of southindian dishes and masala dosa idly biriyani and restaurant look like gallery lot of pictures naturals pictures priya restauant call [MAAMALAS RESTAurant]
Very good tamil cuisine. Excellent dosas, thali etc. Good service.
We went a few years ago when it was known just as Priya, it was good at first but after a while we fell out of love with the place. The cooking wasn’t as fresh as it had been and the staff kept changing so we moved on. However with a dosas obsession on the brain and it being very local we decided to give it another go.
Very good quality food. Polite friendly service. Does takeaway as well.
I would recommend the Dosas and the non-vegetarian Thali
I can't understand why this restaurant has a rating below four stars!
The service was impeccable and the food was utterly delicious... I can't recommend highly enough!
Good, affordable South Indian food. Will definitely visit again.
Lovely Authentic South Indian food. Better Dosa than lots of South Indian restaurants. Uttapam is nice and vegetarian Samosa taste so good. Very polite friendly and clean. Prices are very reasonable too.
The food here is brilliant value for money and the staff are really friendly.
I still rate this place highly for the authenticity of flavours for South Indian food. The service can be slow, but the food is well worth the wait. The paneer starter was so delicious, I could have eaten it again! I only ate veggie but it was so good. My children enjoyed the stuffed paratha (potato and paneer). Can't wait to go again.
Probably the best South Indian /Sri Lankan restaurant in London. Traditional and authentic food. Big variety of dishes, suitable for any kind of needs or preferences from vegetarian to meat or fish dishes. Prices are great as well, just as the service. It gets busy in the evenings, sometimes you need to wait for a table, but it's surely worth it.
The food is simply beautiful. Home cooked with all the flavour you would expect from South India. Service always friendly and helpful. Loads of vegetarian options. We are regulars and love their authentic food.
Very delicious dosas!!
Was looking for a place to satisfy my dosa cravings and this place did it just right.
Humble and friendly staff.
Great soulful music and the aroma make your food taste even better.
Will definitely visit many more times 👍🏻👍🏻
Tasty and good value place for South Indian and Sri Lankan food. I really enjoyed my dosai although would have preferred sambal to daal and would have liked some coconut chutney. Service was also a bit slow so giving it 4/5.
This is our fav place to have south Indian food. I just loved it. Masala dosa n Urda vada was delicious😍. Also, waiter Kumar was really friendly😊. I would love to visit again.
Thank you guys for serving great food.
The proper South Indian restaurant in London. I had cancel dinner with girl friend. Friendly staff, nice traditional fish curry. Yummy so nice. Thanks for mamalas. Very recommendable
The place is very good for Indian food. I love the dishes they make. Very delicious. Staff are very kind. Staff name called Uday Kumar helped us and delivered very good food. Thank you priya maamalas
The decors not great and you can easily walk past without noticing however if you do go inside the food is amazing, and cheap. The best Dosas I've had in London. I travel 20 minutes on the tube in the opposite direction to where i live, to go eat there!
My only criticism, the toilets could do with fixing up and a better choice of draft beer wouldn't go a miss
