This sushi bar seems to follow what I call the Slug and Lettuce effect, whereby every single customer is there because there is some kind of deal/ voucher on which slashes the prices from ridiculously expensive to pretty much what you'd expect for conveyor belt sushi (Slug and Lettuce has an all-day every day 2-for-1 cocktail offer). When this happens companies have a tendency to compromise quality and customers still leave more or less happy, because they think they've still negotiated a brilliant deal. With this is mind, Yazu Sushi doesn't quite live up to your expectations of a fine sushi institute in Mayfair, but the conveyor belt is impressively fruitful, and the their wasabi/ginger helpings pack more of a punch than your standard M&S sushi packs. Make sure you get the deal with rice wine included, which reoccurs on Wowcher!

small and intimate, there were only eight seats around the sushi train. The sushi comes in a variety of shrimp, tempura, crab, salmon, and tuna. I saw the Takeaway menu, and might try that next time as it looks like a better bang for your buck, the real star here is the staff. They are kind, polite, and fast. there’s nowhere to hide in this restaurant, so you will definitely over here everyone’s conversation. mayfair prices to be sure!

Used a voucher here, but definitely want to come and try more. They had fairly traditional selection with a few sushi variations with their own twist. The specials menu was worth trying too! We enjoyed all the dishes that we tried. Cute and cosy little Japanese sushi house that is worth visit a visit with friends for catch up or date.

I really loved this place, very comfy, chef always busy and the food is perfect. They offer a variation of foods that they prepare. Theres barely any raw food but I understand the precautions. Price is a little steep but its still worth it.

One of the best sushi I've ever had. Made fresh right infront of you while you eat it. Really sweet staff and really cute place!

I came across this little gem while visiting a local gallery. After spending all day visiting mainstream galleries on the other side of London, this was a fabulous welcomed break. A small very authentic Japanese restraunt, intimate, quiet and friendly with a wonderful ambience. The food slowly circles on the conveyor belt allowing time to contemplate what to choose. The chef a master in his own art fires fresh fish with a flame torch just artfully skimming the fish. All food is freshly prepared, l found the experience made me feel l was back in Japan. This has wetted my appetite for when l return next week for a month. If you are in the area, it's well worth popping in.

Simple, fresh and unpretentious. Very small unassuming sushi place and a little pricey if you don't have a taste card but still very delicious and one of our fav places to eat sushi.

Fresh made sushi in a small and cozy restaurant - all served on a sushi conveyor belt. Price is reasonable for fresh conveyor sushi. My only possible improvement would be more variety on the sushi served but it was all very good regardless

This is a cute and cosy restaurant with lovely staff and food. The sushi is served on a conveyer belt and was fresh as you could see the chef preparing it. The Japanese beer was also nice. The only negative was that there weren't many choices of sushi on the conveyer belt to choose from compared to what's on the menu. Still a lovely, little restaurant and we'd definitely go back again.
