Chinese cuisine is oily / greasy, but look... the egg fried rice wasn’t oily at all after ‘using oil to fry’. I love lots of sauce on rice too. The food is in a very generous portion and very good price, I don’t order noodle in soup because it looks huge! The service is very fast and the food is very hot while serving!
I have been there a few times during lunch hour whenever I would have a long day at Middlesex university across the road because their food can keep my stomach satisfied for all day and night long.
That would be much more greasy when eating the Chinese cuisine in China.
It's right opposite to Middlesex university and the area is quite buzzing. Ambience in the restaurant is good and food is quite tasty as well. Although I finished my university studies couple of Years ago I still visit their place for takeaways. Love the spiciness & flavor in their food.
I been coming to this restaurant for than few years now. And i have to say - i still enjoy their fried rice and their chow mein. When I was writing this review, I read other peoples review. Most of the comments was that it was too oily. Most asian cuisines are oily. I been to hongkong, vietnam and malaysia. And from my experience thats how they cook their cuisines. People are allowed to post reviews but why post reviews if it was a matter of their own taste? Everytime i go to the restaurant, i always see this same elderly person eating there. Does that mean its good? No its just a matter of preference in taste.
In this world, with google. You actually have control of people’s businesses because they now rely on online reviews due to the increase in technology use. We no longer need word of mouth to tell if a place is good to eat. We use online to find out ourselves.
What happened to the old fashion way of coming in and tasting it for yourself? If its bad, then dont come back. If its good then you’ll see yourself enjoying it next time.
Either way, this is just my rant of how i think of online businesses ruining other small businesses.
