Windmill Tearooms - London - Photo album

Lovely little cafe in the middle of Wimbledon Common - the perfect place to stop for a cup of tea or coffee in the middle or end of a long walk. There is a large car park and toilet facilities. They have a wide range of brunch and lunch options, would definitely recommend the scampi and chips. So ma
We’re not talking artisanal fare, but frankly sometimes you just need basic, but decent grub. A great breakfast stop off after a long morning dog walk, or an ice cream after a ramble through the woods. Gets very busy at peak times.
Friendly staff, wait for food isn’t too long even in busy times. Toilets are clean and functional. Plenty of sheltered outdoor seating perfect for summer. Food is a little pricey depending on how much you are buying but portions are good sized. Have to mention how amazing the victoria sponge cake wa
Ditto to all the great reviews here - a nice spot to grab a bite. Friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced & wide range in the menu. Very efficiently run - they handled the busy lineup very smoothly.
Came back here for the first time in a couple of years. Lovely little cafe serving great, homemade food and drinks. Disappointing that they're not serving a full menu at the moment - their avocado and prawn salad is a treat but sadly not available - but my choice of homemade chilli nachos went down
I came with my nephew who having abit of a meltdown the owner came out and offered a free piece of cake which we we're really grateful for the kind gesture. Thank you so much would recommend!
Amazing breakfast good price not many places do proper sausages so well always happy with the service if your here definatly get the full english and the flapjack are incredible
Bur very expensive coffee £3.50 in small paper cup!!! Bit of a joke! Nice good but small portions not worth the prices am afraid!!!
The front of the Scottish golf club. The only place where you can buy something in the middle of the big green area. Their coffee is very good. (I prefer latte.) But the water they sell is a disgrace. better if you drink from the fountain. Quiet place and very good staff. Thank you to all the s
Can't beat a hot chocolate and a sausage roll to keep you going! Great service considering the hordes of punters there at the weekend
Good choice after a long walk with kids or dogs.
Lovely tea rooms that do a roaring trade all year round. Everything from a full breakfast through sandwiches and jacket potatoes, to home made cakes and an ice-cream counter. Happy to help with any dietary preferences, this is a great independent local business!
Great food, lots of choice and taste of home made. Attractive and well designed indoor sitting area, clean and free toilet, large parking. Good spot to take a rest and eat in the middle of exploring Wimbledon common. Windmill museum is worth paying a visit too.
Excellent place to stop for a cuppa and cake. Also do great breakfast. Haven't had lunch there. Not so great if your in a rush. But that's mainly because it's usually busy Loads of room to sit outside and reasonable inside.
