Have been coming here consistently for a few years way before the refurbish when they used to be called Cafe Ora but hadn't been back in a while. Visited today under the name of Ora Lounge and I am so proud of how far they've come! It looks amazing, really in line with how lounges look these days and plenty of snappable corners.
For pipes, they use Alpha hookah bases and a Quasar head so you imagine how smooth the smoke was. I asked the staff for a popular mix and he made us a blueberry, dark grape, pineapple and menthol mix. I don't normally smoke so many different flavours in one go but I was blown away. The flavour smoked well for the two hours we were there and they were happy to flip and fix the flavour after about an hour to boost it. The shisha cost £25 which is what to expect normally for the area. They offer Al Fakher, Starbuzz and Savacco flavours so you'll find something you like 👍
For food, I had the chicken caesar salad. It wasn't your usual chicken caesar where you would expect croutons and cheese and caesar salad dressing. It had more of a middle Eastern vibe with rocket and spinach, cucumber, pickle, cherry tomatoes and chicken with a sweet dressing. Still cleaned the plate! Bit on the pricey side for a salad but the portion made up for it.
The atmosphere was great and makes for a lovely chilled evening. It was quiet when I got there on a weekday after work, people slowly arriving in groups. The staff were really attentive and so sweet! The decor is clean, neutral and aesthetic.
Would definitely come back 😊
