Great food at an affordable price too! Really nice environment and a regular place to grab a bite to eat and drink. I had the pizza and it was delicious!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean and very reasonably priced cocktails for a central London location. Didn't eat here but drinks were fairly nice

Hard to find the front door! But once you do it’s a lovely place. Food looks better than it tastes. But is beautifully presented and served.

2023 Update. Great Place for a drink and a pizza. Not overpriced, it has a nice beer garden to enjoy! Good atmosphere, specially on Fridays.

I went to a event here for Halloween, the sound system was good, location was good. Drinks were reasonably priced (considering the area), the venue had a good air conditioning system which kept it nice and cool despite all the dancing and drinking. The venue also had the cleanest toilets I've ever seen in a drinks venue, smokers area was also really nice. All in all a great events space/bar/club.

Popped in to meet a friend in London. It’s easy reach of Euston and underground. (Regents Park). Nice ambience. I had a beer and decent selection. I’d go back for sure, quite a little find I think.

Cool little bar that I've walked past so many times and never knew it was there. Nice staff, cheap beer 🍺

We popped in to The Thirsty Scholar today and will definitely be back. The best matcha latte and chai latte we have ever had!! Not only that but it was a lovely place with great service!

Stumbled across this place on a Tuesday lunchtime and what a hidden gem! Staff were lovely and even wished me a happy birthday on our way out which was a nice touch.

Loved the atmosphere and decor of the bar. Friendly staff, good value for money food and drinks. Reserved a table in advance and we had a good experience overall. My group also attended the pub quiz which was reasonably difficult to keep it interesting. Some categories I would describe as original while others a bit weird and niche.

Interesting bar that you would hardly know was there. Very friendly and helpful staff, good selection of drinks and very reasonably priced food. There is a small courtyard area too. Was very quiet on a Thursday evening when we visited so plenty of space.

As a ☕ Coffee Shop & Lounge owner myself. The Thirsty Scholar is my exact! Interpretation of a Modern Day Coffee Shop 👌 From the great offering on the menu (food and drink) down to the decor and brilliant customer service. Highly recommend and would come again! 5/5

Hidden gem at the end of Portland Place, need a thirst quenching beer on a hot day, air conditioned pub, with sport on the TV's, or a secluded outdoor courtyard/beer garden.. this place has friendly staff and its a real shame that Camden Council won't let them put a pub sign outside as its not in keeping with the Grade 1 listed buildings here.. did I mention Camden Hells or Pale Ale on tap... great find!

Standards in students bars have increased since my time. Relaxed, inexpensive (for location). Food looked good but music video a bit noisy.
