This place was a great surprise! It is a restaurant in the shopping mall and thus it might appear just a fast food. But, although it is a fast food, all there is really tasteful. The food is really good and full of flavor. Prices are fair. Staff was nice, they pay attention to your concerns, such as those related to allergies. Their beer is also very good. If you’re around Master Bao, the place deserves your visit.
Really great food. Tasty and filling, and was ready pretty quickly. We had the Chicken Rice and the Shrimp Rice, both were fantastic, although a little spicier than expected. It's not super hot though, we just weren't expecting any spice at all, and it does give your lips a slight tingle. We also had the Fried Veggie Gyōza which is just like a normal spring roll. Very nice on their own, but delicious with the sweet sauce that it come with. The Green Juice was nice but was much smaller than I was expecting.
Master Bao is a culinary haven that deserves high praise. The combination of flavorful bao buns, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance creates an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you are a bao bun aficionado or simply looking to explore Asian cuisine, Master Bao is a must-visit restaurant in Westfield Shopping Centre. I highly recommend it.
Friendly service and food is delicious! It’s very popular because the queue was so long. But it’s worth the wait. Yum!
Both of my husband and I decided to have a go with the master bao meal set. So we have got to choose two bao buns plus one side for each of us. For the bun, we opted for slow braised pork and prawns. For the side, it was the popcorn prawns with crispy kale and the fried chicken. For the drink, we tried pao pao, which is a lychee, apple, and lemon juice - plus the lemonade. We were content with all of them. All delicious and definitely will come back again.
While I ordered Korean food my daughter wanted to go with Master Bao. She ordered Wok Noodles with chicken and liked it very much, especially the chicken.
Recommend the master bao @Westfield, Sheppard Bush's branch. I tried the chicken fried rice and it was really yummy. The quantity is perfect for one to quench their hunger and lots of chicken pieces in it.
It was nice to try taiwanese. Not much different from other oriental places but nice. Unfortunately when you pay a lot for tour dish. You expect to have that item present. So bit put off by the fact that there were only 3 tiny pieces of beef in my fried rice with beef meal. Portion size itself was good. But beef was there just for the show. Its the taste and customer service that kept the rate going. Otherwise I would have rated this 3 star.
In the food court. Shared seating. The table are cleaned regularly, well staffed. Sometimes u do need to wait around for seats. Master bao is very popular. I had the deal - 2 buns and a side £12 but got extra side and coke bcos it's not enough to get full on. I had the prawn and fried chicken bao. Really enjoyed the chicken one, also had a side of fried chicken came with a spicy mayo sauce, some pieces were a little too pink/blushing for my liking. I had loads of bread left over from my bun as there isn't much filling, do used the chicken to make my own extra buns! Side of edemame was good too... There is soya sauce at the bottom to make it more tasty. I would visit again !
The Bao bun deal of 2x Bao Buns and a side for £12 is an absolute steal. Mainly because the quality of the Baos is top notch. Fried chicken is cooked really well and served with a nice sauce. Worth every penny.

Incredibile food and not too expensive, cooked quite quickly and makes you wanna order again. The customer service is good enough to make you enjoy your food.
This might be the tastiest meal I’ve ever had in a mall. I got the combo special, which includes 2 bao and a side for £12. For the bao, I tried the mushroom and tofu varieties. The fillings were awesome and so were the sauces drizzled on top. Tons of flavor and interesting textures. As a side, I got the tenderstem broccoli, which was exactly that: tender. I basically ate the whole plate even though I was handicapped with chopsticks!!
My only complaint was that the filling-to-bao-bread ratio was off. At the end, I was left with several bites of just the bread, which was disappointing. But I will live :)
Tasty quality food. The food hall can be quite busy during peak times but the bao buns were worth the wait. Love the style of the menu and the idea, definitely worth checking out!
The best bao food stall in Westfield Shepards Bush! The stall is well decorated to attract your attention and I like that there’s a meal deal with two baos, a side and drink of your choice.
We enjoyed our meal and would come here again, and also really enjoyed the sauce they served with the tenderstem broccoli.
Best bao buns I have ever had. So soft and the chicken was tender and juicy. Would recommend noodles and dumplings along with the baos.
